(This takes place before the events of Disney's Peter Pan.) Tinkerbell followed Peter Pan all over London... again. This had been the fifth time that week. She could have been back in Pixie Hollow, getting some much-needed tinkering done. But she had been loyal to Pan since she befriended him. It was hard to say no to him. But at the moment, she wasn't in the best of moods. "Peter, for the last time, I don't think your shadow is here!" she said. "I don't know why you keep thinking it's in this neighborhood. Let's go home and make some Never-Berry Juice or something." She rolled her eyes as Peter flew on. This was going to be a long night. Moments later, it seemed like Peter was ready to give up for the night. Tink breathed a sigh of relief. However, just before they began to make their way back to the Second Star To The Right, suddenly the shadow appeared. Tink face-palmed and shook her head. "Oh no," she said. "Now we'll never get home." She looked up to see that Peter was long gone. "Peter! Pete... oh I give up!" She just stood in mid-air and crossed her arms. Even Pan's best friend had enough of his antics at times. TANIA ODESSA PAMYAT

[googlefont="Open Sans Condensed:300"] FLIGHTS OF FANCY [attr="class","next"] London — the European sector — it had always been one of Toothiana’s favorite places. Big Ben especially. If she had had time, she would have taken a chance to stop and enjoy the scenery, but as it were, they were already running late. That was the thing about her business; you couldn’t be late. If kids woke up with no money under their pillows, it was like game over. Then they stopped believing and it was a snowball effect. Tooth was running late — being out in the field was great, but keeping an eye on everyone else often had her tied up. So, flying through the air at an abnormally fast speed, it was no surprise that she didn’t see the blonde pixie hovering in the air before it was too late. “Watch out! Watch out watch out watch out!” Tooth called as she went rocketing through the air. But the small little being didn’t seem to notice her. In fact, she felt the pair of them collide and realized that she had been going way too fast. There would have been no way for her to stop anyway! Tumbling through the air, she threw her feet out in front of her to stop her forward momentum and then looked back at her collision partner. “Yikes, sorry about that! Lots to do! Did you know that we’ve still got three more time zones down here before morning? It’s just—“ Her eyes went wide as she realized the girl in front of her was flying too. “That’s weird, didn’t know we got blonde pixies for the brigade!” She said with a grin as she threw out her hand. “Evening, new recruit. I’m Toothiana. Or better known as the Tooth Fairy. Resident tooth collector and money swapper. Also, you’re late! You should be in Paris with all the other faeries, shouldn’t you?”

Well Peter vanishing was the beginning of Tink's problems for the evening. No sooner had she decided to find a a nice, dirty rooftop to plop her fanny on than a strange pixie flew at her and bumped into her. She flew back and hit a wall. She gave her head a good bump, but she survived it. "Ugh," she said, rubbing her head. "I feel like about a hundred little brats stopped believing in me all at the same time." Once she regained her vision, she got a better look at the fairy. She was all rainbow-ish, unlike any pixie Tink had ever seen. She then listened as the fairy who called herself Toothiana or the Tooth Fairy introduced herself and said Tink was a new recruit. "Wait... when did Pixie Hollow get fairies for body parts?" she asked. "And I'm not a Tooth Fairy, I'm a Tinker Fairy. And I've never been to this Paris. Heck, I only came to this place because my best friend can't seem to get his shadow to stay on." She rubbed her head again. "I could use some Never-Tonic right about now. I'm guessing you don't have any on you. What's a Tooth Fairy do anyway?"TANIA ODESSA PAMYAT

[googlefont="Open Sans Condensed:300"] FLIGHTS OF FANCY [attr="class","next"]Toothiana rubbed her head, trying to fix the ruffled feathers that had gotten entangled in her little collision with the new recruit. “Sorry, sorry!” She said again, laughing nervously as she looked the girl up and down. She looked like one of the fairies from Pixie Hollow…but that didn’t make sense. What was she doing out of Neverland? “A tinker fairy! Gosh that’s exciting! Wow!” Tooth said as she flew around the girl, looking at her from all different angles. She was right, there was no way that she was a tooth fairy. Not with those pom poms on her shoes. “Cute shoes,” the fairy said as she finally arrived back in front of her and folded her arms across her chest. “Is your best friend a tinker fairy too?” She asked out loud. That seemed silly — how did someone go about losing their shadow? She wondered if Pitch had something to do with it. She bit down on her lip, she thought about Pitch and how he had almost ripped their entire world apart. Thankfully he seemed to be gone for now…but stranger things had happened. “What’s Never-Tonic?” She blurted, raising her eyebrows. But the girl had asked her what she did and immediately Toothiana grinned. “I collect teeth. From the kids, you know they put them under the pillow and go to sleep and then me and the girls we swoop in. Coins for teeth. Did you know they hold memories? Pretty cool stuff, right?” She threw out her hand excitedly, “I’m Toothiana. Who’re you?”

Tink saw that the other fairy was sincerely sorry and she sighed a bit. She usually didn't want to be in another fairy's face unless the other fairy was legitimately trying to start trouble. It was obvious this one wasn't. "Meh, it's alright," she said. "Accidents happen."
Tink didn't know why this fairy was so excited about her being a Tinker Fairy. It wasn't like she did anything special. Now the Nature Fairies, they were something special. She had managed to get over not having their talents, but she still dreamed of it now and then. "It's not all that exciting, trust me," she said. She did smile about her shows though. "Thanks, and you.. um... well you're very rainbow-ish, and that's nice." Tink blushed a bit at how dumb that compliment probably sounded. She then laughed at the idea of Peter being a Tinker Fairy. "Who... Peter?" she asked. "No, he's a boy... who can fly... and can't age... and annoys one-handed pirates all day long. That about sums him up."
Tink massaged her head again as the other fairy asked about Never-Tonic. It was obvious she had no idea what it was. Tink was beginning to think this one was not from Neverland. "Don't worry about it," she said. She then listened to what the other fairy did. It sounded weird, but cool at the same time. Memories in teeth, huh? Who would have thought it? "I'm Tinkerbell," she said. She looked about. It didn't seem like Peter would be around any time soon. "Um... so could you show me how you do the tooth collecting thing?" Tink couldn't help it. She was curious. TANIA ODESSA PAMYAT
