the rules.
Welcome to the site! We just have a few rules for you to read over before you begin your journey into this crazy place we call home. Thanks for taking the time to read these! XO Staff.
01. Respect. Please respect everyone, to include staff and your fellow members. We want to keep the drama at a minimum - we love it in rp, but not irl. This is supposed to be a fun place for everyone and when people bring drama into it, it has a negative impact on the site that we don't want here. If a conversation escalates to an argument, please drop the subject and confront a staff member if needed. In order to keep the peace, if you are a witness to an argument, please do not try to encourage or aid either side - simply allow it to happen and ignore it. We will handle the situation appropriately and do not need cliques forming due to unnecessary drama.
02. Characters. We don't have a limit on how many characters you can have, however there will be limitations as to who you can have. Be considerate of others when you're making your characters. Don't hog up all of the main canons just because. It's okay if you have a few, but you definitely should watch who you're picking up - don't take the hero and villain from the same movie. It's just not fair to everyone else. Everyone knows those key canon characters and we want everyone to have a fair chance at getting who they want. We will set an exact limit on who you can play if we notice you're taking too many well-known characters. Keep active with the characters you have or you don't need any more - that's the bottom line. We have to be a little strict on age - the youngest we'll allow is 13 for age. The same goes for play-bys, as well. THE CHARACTER LIMIT IS NOW GOING TO BE 18 AND YOU ARE ONLY ALLOWED TO HAVE UP TO EIGHT MAIN CHARACTERS. Please change your display name to all capital letters (example: WALTER ELIAS DISNEY).
03. Activity. We don't expect you to be on every single day, though that would be awesome if you're that active. Please just be posting at least once a week. MAIN CHARACTERS will be taken if you're not posting at least once a week without an absent notice up. If two weeks have gone past from when you said you would return and you're still not back, we will give your canon up - if you return and they're available then you can have them back, but we will only allow it one time. If you disappear twice, you'll be ineligible to claim that canon again. We'll have activity checks every two months and as long as you're posting at least once a week, you'll have nothing to worry about!
04. Powers. Our characters here are a little different than most. Because all of them have been transformed into humans, any powers that your character had previously are gone and will not come back (unless there comes something from the main plot that does this.)
05. Posting. All posts should be made in the third person. The only exceptions to this are journals. There is no word count - just match your partner. We are not, however, a rapid-fire roleplay, so please do not post one-liner posts or you will be warned. Please use correct grammar, spelling, etc. Not everyone is an English major and we acknowledge this, but considering our medium of roleplay is writing, your partner should be able to understand you. Note that our rating is PG-13 as set forth by Proboards TOS - extreme detail or nudity in graphics will not be tolerated and you will be warned and graphics immediately removed. We don't want to be shut down from something as silly as that, okay?
