Just for You, Just for You
Just for You, Just for You
Liam Roche always said that it was impossible to do much with football when one was alone. It just wasn't any fun. One could practice trying to keep the ball close but that was no practice at all; the whole point of the sport was to get the ball back from far away and win by preventing the ball from getting too close and, in some cases then, impossible to claim. Therefore, there had to at least be a one on one match to have it be good. Not to mention that it was always better when one shared their enthusiasm for kicking a ball around with friends.
And that was just what Liam was doing. Or, rather, waiting to do. He casually bounced a black and white football on the side of his foot, occasionally letting it get high enough for him to give it a bump with the top of his head. It was his weekend to visit home--or what he considered to be home, the wood. Naturally, with visiting came an obligation to see his best friend, KOVU JACQUES ASSEMBÉ. They always knew to meet here in this little soccer clearing on every second Saturday, right around now. Then they'd make plans for the rest of the weekend.
Liam adored being with Kovu. Though Liam instinctively felt that it seemed a bit wrong to be friends at first, since Kovu was a loyal follower of Scar and he wasn't sure if they had been friends before the memory break, the two guys had slowly grown closer until they were inseparable. They shared a verve for life, a sense of humor, and most of all, a passion for the strange little sport called football.
