"Ay, boy. My gun isn't working.." The thug barked from the opposite wall, holding the newly made, and upgraded shot gun. Hiro sucked his teeth as he pushed himself off the wall and grabbed the gun. "Did you adjust it like I told you?" Hiro shot back, as he pulled back the safety handle, and adjusted some of the metals inside. "You don't just shove it where it fits. You put it where it belongs. You got it?" The boy commanded, locking the gun back into place before tossing it back. The thug grumbled under his breath, but gave a curt nod none the less. "Where's the money?" Hiro was always prepared for if they didn't pay up. There were always the special cases, and he had gotten use to it. He just hoped the thug saved him the trouble. Surprisingly the guy pulled out the bag of money, and handed it over. Hiro took the bag with stride, and stuffed it in his bag. "Nice doing business with you. Remember, you don't know where you got it from." The thug nodded in agreement. Hiro turned his back, and prepared to walk away, until a very familiar noise came into range. "Put your hands up! Drop the weapon!" Before Hiro knew it, the thug had Hiro in a headlock, and his own invention pressed to Hiro's temple. "Let me go or the boy dies!" The thug shouted, but Hiro could feel how his hands were shaking. The WPA Officers which were now in range scoffed, still aiming their guns at the thug. Then before Hiro knew it, the thug pulled out a dagger, and he was slicing Hiro's arm.
Skip an hour or so, and wrestling out of the thug's grip. Hiro had managed to get his shot gun back, and put it back in his bunker, along with the money. After breaking free from the guy, and running off the scene, Hiro noticed his arm was bleeding immensely. It was too deep for him to patch it up himself. It meant he had to go to the Palace Doctor. That's how he found himself sitting in the waiting room, with a scowl on his face, and a bloody towel tied to his arm to somewhat stop the bleeding. He didn't mind the possible fact he would need stitches, he hated the fact that he had to get it from the Palace. The one place that wanted to hunt him down and throw him in jail. But he needed to get this taken care of, he didn't need a blood trail following him. So Hiro would shut up about it. Still didn't mean he liked it though.

Maxwell let out a sigh. He was stuck working when all he wanted to do was get out and work somewhere else. He wanted to be with the people that needed his help more than the people that worked for guard. He didn’t care for them much. He figured that they knew that too. He was only chosen to be the doctor because he was the best one around. It was a job that he classified as a job. The only real satisfaction that he got from it was sneaking around and helping other people that needed it, like the ones in the prison. He was just a people person.
Max was about to leave when he walked out into the waiting room and saw just one person sitting there. “ I apologize, I didn’t know anyone was here.” Max said to him with a smile. “What seems to be the trouble?” He asked him curiously, holding the door open for the young man to follow him in the back.
He noticed that he was holding a towel around his arm. “On a scale of one to ten, how would you rate your pain?” he then asked staring at the arm.

With a stubborn scowl, and stern eyes Hiro watched as the lobby became emptier and emptier till it was just him, a soaked towel, and a stinging arm. Hiro was almost convinced to get up, and go find someone else to take care of his wound, when the doors opened and a young man came out. Hiro stood up, wincing slightly as his right hand landed on the covered wound. Of course the doctor forgot about him. Wearing all black in a pristine white office did that to you. "5." Hiro answered sternly, clicking his tongue with pain as the stinging increased, as time went on. "Low 5 to a possible 6 if no treatment." The boy added. He didn't have too much medical history, but he was good with science, and he wanted to give the doctor an accurate description of his injury so he could be out of the hospital as fast as he can. He didn't know how long he had until the men of the thug would come for him, or rather the gun. Hiro briefly wondered why they needed so many weapons, and where they went, but it wasn't his business. He didn't ask questions. "Where do I need to go?"

Max stood there staring at him when he said it was a five or a six with no treatment. He grabbed his arm and took part of the towel off to get a look at it. He didn’t want to take the whole thing off in case it started clotting. It was better to leave it on a little longer until Max could actually treat it and close it. The young man then asked where he needed to go. “You can follow me. I will fix your arm up.” Max smiled a sincere smile to him.
“I’m Max Bay.” Max introduced himself walking into a small room and grabbed some things out of the top cabinet. “What’s your name?” he then asked wondering if he would get a name out of the guy. He seemed tense, like he didn’t want to be here. That was one thing Max was good at, reading people’s emotions even though sometimes he wouldn’t really understand them and really didn’t know why he didn’t understand them.
“How did that happen, if you don’t mind me asking?” Max asked him curiously, taking out some things to clean and make his arm numb. He definitely needed stitches. “I actually need to know that though. I have to make sure that there isn’t anything inside or whatever happened didn’t break off…” Max stopped himself from mumbling more.

Hiro winced as the man took his arm, and untied the towel. Tolerance is key, Hiro. Gritting his teeth, Hiro stood silently as the man talked, his dark eyes trained onto the floor as he did his best to restrain his complaints of pain. This was the result of a thug, a sloppy one at that, this pain would be over. "My name is-" Hiro had almost said Lee, as that was his middle name, but that was the name he would give to the most 'risky' thugs who would most likely talk if caught by the WPA. But Hiro realized if he gave that name, it'd link back. So Hiro gave his real name. "My name is Hiro." The dark haired boy muttered, biting the tip of his tongue as he watched Baymax take out his materials, and spotting the stitches. Oh god. Then he heard the man's question, and his gaze flew back to the floor. "I was cut. My fault for travelling through the wrong alley, I usually take another way home back. That was shorter, my parents would kill me if I was late again.." Hiro lied almost immediately, his throat suddenly clenching at the thought of his parents. His parents were dead, and they had been for a long time. And it was because of Wonderland.

Max stared at the young man inside the room with him when he paused while introducing himself. Max didn’t really care though. He finally said his name was Hiro. Max nodded, and smiled. “It’s a pleasure to meet you, Hiro.” Max smiled to him. It was a kind and gentle smile, hoping he wouldn’t scare him off. Max could tell that he was a bit uncomfortable.
Max listened to his story and nodded. That would explain it. He didn’t care if the kid was lying or not, though he did in fact believe the story. “Well, as you can see, you need stitches. We first have to clean the wound and then I will numb it. The stitches will then be applied and you can go on your way. You will have to clean it still and not get the stitches or bandage wet, but you should be fine.” Max explained to him, waiting for a reaction or the ok to go. He didn’t want to do anything without the young man knowing before he started. That’s just how Max was. “And if you like when we are done, you can have a lollypop.” He joked with a smile.
“don’t be nervous. I do this all the time… ish.” Max said with a light shrug.

Hiro's eyes watched the doctor in uneasiness as he went over the procedure. Although you probably couldn't tell, Hiro was extremely terrified. Hiro hates stitches, god they were painful. The boy hoped it was the dissolving kind of stitches, so they'd dissolve into his body and he'd never have to take them out. Hiro remembers accidentally clipping his face a couple years ago, which resulted in a small stitch. Hiro couldn't remember what was more painful, getting them in, or taking them out. Till this day, he has a small stitch on the lower right side of his neck. Swallowing thickly, Hiro nodded. "I do not want a lollipop, sir." He said stiffly, biting his bottom lip, as he mentally prepared for the pain. No physical body could protect him this time. "Is there anyway for this to be painless?" He foolishly asked, his foot anxiously tapping the ground as he awaited the impact of the needle. "Any at all?"

Maxwell looked at the young man that sat there in front of him. He looked afraid of this and Max didn’t really know what to say to him. “look, its not so bad. I have had them before too. After the stitches I will give you pain killers so that it doesn’t hurt as much.” He said, trying to ease Hiro’s mind. He wondered if that would work, since he had already refused the lollipop. “you don’t want one? oh, lollipops make everything better you know.” he gave him a small smile as he quickly stuck him with the needle and numbed Hiro’s arm. He hoped that getting him to talk would distract him enough.
“see? Didn’t feel that?-“ he paused. “No, wait, you probably felt that, but from here on out, nothing. I promise.” Max said. he picked up the needle and then then started to stitch up Hiro’s arm, holding it in case the young man wanted to move it. Once Max had finished he tied it off and then bandaged it up with gauze in case it started bleeding a bit. “be careful not to move it too much. You may rip the stitches out.” He said to him, then added “oh and clean it. you don’t want it to get infected.”
Max stood there trying to remember and see if he forgot anything. He then snapped his fingers and held out a red lollipop. “Here, have a lollipop anyway.” He smiled. “Sorry, not a lot of people come in here willingly unless they were part of the guard...” Max apologized and then lowered the lollipop remembering that Hiro didnt want it. "people probably think that I am a bad guy because I work for them." He shrugged.
Max was just trying to be friendly with the guy. He knew that a lot of people didn’t like going to see him because he was the doctor of the royal guard. He felt like it intimidated people. He really didn’t want that though. The young doctor wanted to help everyone. Not just people that he was told to help.
