a falling star fell from your heart. Light of the day turned to dark as Dashiell Parr made his way up the driveway and to the tall standing Parr Residence. Trudging his way up the street, Dash turned the thick patch of flowers in his hand with a small frown. It had been about a week or two since he had gotten Caddie in trouble, and she was still upset. Very upset actually. For a girl that didn't run, she sure knew how to disappear in the halls. Anyway, Dash thought maybe she would forgive him if he brought her some flowers and talked it out. That's what Ellen suggested, and usually Ellen was never wrong. Yet when he tried to give her the flowers, she didn't hesitate to storm past him and out of the hall. He didn't see her for the rest of the day. Ellen, who had visited later in the day, laughed as she picked the flowers and kissed his cheek, the words 'try harder next time, Dash'. And now, since he officially got kicked out of Ellen's office, and was forced to walk home, he was seriously considering never dealing with flowers again, He had at least several thorn cuts along his arm. Reaching the door, Dash pulled out the key from underneath the mat, and let himself in. With a tired sigh, Dash dropped the flowers into an empty pot beside the doorway, before making his way into the house.

[attr="class","BOXU"] I KNOW PLACES WE WON'T BE FOUND Ariel was quite worried about Vi - she just hadn't really been herself, lately, and had seemed off somehow. Well Ariel knew what to do about that, and that was to have a sleepover and get to the bottom of things. After all, Vi was one of Ariel's best friends, and if she was acting strange for some reason, Ariel was going to know why. If someone was being mean to her or making her do something she didn't want, Ariel was going to figure out who that person was and give them a piece of her mind. Ariel wasn't scared to stand up for her friends - in fact, she was pretty sure that's what she was born to do, if anything. She might not know what exactly her past held for her, but she knew one thing about herself and that was that her friends came first.
She skipped up to the Parr residence, quite confident about her abilities to have a great night with Vi just being girls. Ariel knocked on the door and then leaned against the wall beside the door, one foot resting on the wall and propping herself up. She hadn't really told Vi she was coming over so hopefully her friend was home - if not, she'd wait. That wasn't a problem. Vi had to come home sometime, didn't she? And, after all, it wasn't exactly the safest thing to be walking around Wonderland by your lonesome at night, so Ariel hoped she'd be home by then - and if not, that would mean Ariel would find out where she'd been in the dark.

[googlefont="Open Sans Condensed:300"] got a secret, can you keep it? [attr="class","next"]The freshly cleaned and dried sheets felt soothing against her skin. Her eyes stared up at the blank, snow white ceiling as thoughts of the past few days ran through her mind. Violet Parr, the self conscious and easily intimidated girl of her group of friends, had found a boy; one that she found herself liking and constantly thinking about. Still, she just couldn't wrap her mind around what it was that drew her to him. He was handsome. No. More than that. He was sexy, and that wasn't a word she tended to use. He made her heart race and her stomach explode with butterflies, and even though it sounded nerve racking and maybe even annoying, she liked the feeling, for it was something she had never felt before. It was new, and exciting. However, Vi had also been spending more time looking for him and hanging out with him, than with her friends; the ones who had been the first to accept her. Especially Ariel. That girl, while she was completely opposite than Violet in her sassy and outgoing ways, she was Violet's first friend and best girl friend. Closing her eyes, she tried not to think about it, or him. Her mind needed to be focused on other things. Like, maybe a job or something she could do around the village. She still needed to get one, but she was always anxious when it came to going to talk to someone. New people brought her the worst of anxieties. But she was ripped from her thoughts when she heard the door open and close. No big deal. It was probably just Dash, or Jamie. Maybe even Ellen. Though, it was kind of late, so if it had been anyone, it was most likely Dash. God knows what that boy is always up to. That wasn't the only noise that kept her from everything that tossed around inside her head though. A knock on the door. Who could that be and this late? Her eyes widened. What if it was him? Quickly, she pushed herself off the bed and ran through the hall, rushing down the stairs as soon as her feet had found them. She had almost run into Dash in the process, but when she reached the door, she threw it open in the most ungraceful manner to find... "Ariel?" Her face had involuntarily dropped, but to be fair, she was hoping for someone else. Still, she was happy to see her friend, despite the disappointment. "Hey. What are you doing here?" She asked, a smile finally gracing her lips. a falling star fell from your heart. Peeling off his jacket, Dash winced as he felt the stinge of cuts along his fingers. Yeah, he definitely got cut. By roses. And roses were one of the girly flowers ever. Not that girly was bad, or that it couldn't hurt him, it was just-nevermind. Putting the jacket onto the coat rack, Dash walked through the small hallway leading to the kitchen. He hoped Ellen had left some food or something to eat, Dash didn't feel like leaving the house again to get some food from the town dinner. Before he reached his destination, he heard a knock on the door. Dash turned to walk back and open the door, but Violet beat him to it as he rushed past him, knocking into his shoulder, and to the door. Dash was momentarily surprised to actually see Violet before midnight. He didn't think she'd be home at all. Dash took a step forward to talk to her, but heard what sounded like Vi talking to Ariel, and resignedly turned back around to head to the kitchen at last. Turning on the pipe, Dash began washing his hands. As the soap slowly dissolved, Dash stuck his head out, hoping to hear in on Vi's conversation. Dash actually hadn't saw Ariel in a while. Unlike most boys, that hated their sisters friends and such, Dash didn't mind the girl. She was cool at times, she didn't take crap from anyone, and that included him. He definitely learned his lesson last time he tried to pull a prank on her. God, he could still hear the buzzing of his ears. Ouch. Grabbing a towel from the oven handle, Dash tried off his hands before tossing it behind him and heading to the doorway. "Hello ladies. I thought I wouldn't see the both of you ever again." He remarked, sending Violet a pointed look.

[attr="class","BOXU"] I KNOW PLACES WE WON'T BE FOUND As Ariel waited for someone to answer the door, she stared out at the grass and the little path that led up to where she stood. It was funny how paths directed people to and from places - but Ariel thought that the path, itself, was more important than the destination. After all, her past was behind her, and that was kind of like a destination in its own right, and maybe someday she would find out what her past held, but on the way to wherever it was she was headed, that was what mattered. How did she know that in a different life that she and Vi were even friends at all? Maybe they had never even met before they were sent to this world, and that would be a shame, considering they had become fast friends. Ariel counted Vi as her best friend in this strange place, and somehow it seemed that she was losing her grip on that friendship - and that just couldn't happen. The squeak of the door made Ariel jump from the wall - not in a surprised way, but in a way that showed her excitement that someone was finally tending to her presence. She grinned as Vi's dark hair swept back from the wind as the door swung open and revealed the girl to which said hair belonged to. She bit her lower lip, however, as Violet's face fell. It was quite noticeable. Was she expecting someone else? Did that mean Ariel wasn't welcome? Ariel felt like jumping on it right then, but this wasn't the time to make arguments with someone who seemed to be distancing herself from her. At that rate, Ariel and Vi wouldn't be friends at all. The last thing Ariel wanted to do was push Vi away. "Oh, now I'm not allowed to show up uninvited?" she asked, an eyebrow raised. Ariel squealed and rushed forward, giving Vi a big hug. "I missed you, duh!" Ariel cheered. She let Vi go and then took a step back. "I just hadn't seen you in a while, you know, and I figured maybe we could have a sleepover and just hangout - what do you think?" Unless someone else is coming over?" Ariel gave Vi a 'hmmm' expression, but her eyes took notice, before her ears, of the fact that Dash Parr was joining in on their conversation. Ariel smirked. "Me either," Ariel said, laughing. She looked at Vi with a wide smile and then at Dash, and then had the odd sensation that something was going on that she was missing. Ariel bit her lip and looked back to Vi, waiting for her to invite her in - or send her away, which would have been quite the disappointment to the redhead. DASHIELL "DASH" PARR VIOLET ISOBEL PARR
