[googlefont="Open Sans Condensed:300"] UNBREAKABLE [attr="class","next"] Helen was out of breath — her feet padding against the ground as she ran through the forest was the only sound that accompanied her. She felt free when she was out running — away from all the hustle and bustle of the castle and even away from her brothers. Granted, she enjoyed their company but it was nice to get away from it all. She stopped at one of the trees, adjusting the her shoe as she looked out over the greenery, but suddenly it was all lost. The trees thinned until they disappeared, leaving the dirt road that led through the village. She nearly growled — abysmal village. She was glad their house was on the hill. Jogging up the side of the grassy knoll she got to her front door and unlocked it. The keys were thrown haphazardly onto the floor as she checked her hair in the mirror. Sometimes it didn’t even look like Helen had worked up a sweat. She was growing tired of these boring workouts. They seemed to leave something to be desired. Taking the stairs two at a time, she headed towards her bathroom and grabbed one of the towels to dry off some of the glistening beads of sweat on her forehead. Her eyes were drawn to the broken light fixture in the hallway — courtesy of Archie himself. She rolled her eyes when the door to the Savage household opened. Leaning over the bannister on the second floor, she peered down, anxious to see who it was that decided to grace her with their prescence. She was not disappointed, “ Well, well, well, look what the cat dragged in.” Helen said as Ariana Delisle walked through the doorframe.

"Don't you know, Hel?" Ariana replied, shutting the door and leaning up against it, "I am the cat," as she said it she lifted a bottle of wine in her hand. "I didn't think the Queen really needed it. Care for a glass?" she asked, looking down from Helen and moving into the kitchen, knowing that Helen would no doubt be down in a moment.
She opened the cupboard and pulled out two tall and thin glasses, placing them on the kitchen counter and reaching into a drawer to pull of the bottle opener. Once the cork was removed, Ari poured two glasses and placed the open wine bottle on the counter, leaning forward she lifted one of the glasses and spun it in her hand a little, smelling it before taking a little sip.
Ah, red wine. Red as blood.
"Where are the guys?" Ari called out.

[googlefont="Open Sans Condensed:300"] UNBREAKABLE [attr="class","next"] A charmed smile appeared on her lips as Helen took the rest of the stairs two at a time. Ariana was one of her dearest friends in Wonderland — something that she valued high above the rest of society. It was hard not to when the girl was as vicious and driven as herself. In fact, there was a part of Hel that practically looked up to her. Guard duty was amongst the greatest bonds that the pair shared. The bottle that she held up was from the private collection and she raised her eyebrows — but the explanation quickly followed. “Don’t mind if I do.” Helen followed her into the kitchen, watching as the woman expertly found her way around everything. It was a testament to how many times they had done the very same thing. “Work, play, Hell if I know. They’re always off doing something. Surprised you went in today. Queen call in an extra favor?” Helen asked as she swirled the glass of red wine around with a sort of careless abandon. As she walked around to the other side of the kitchen, Helen slid her knee onto one of the barstools and leaned over the island countertop, staring at Ariana. “I was robbed a few nights ago. Some idiot with a bow and arrow blew out the light at the top of the stairs.”
She brushed some of her blonde hair away from her face and then leaned in even closer to one of her dearest friends. “I should have killed him, Ari.” She breathed. “ That idiot tried to steal my favorite fox furs.” Her voice was angry, venomous.

Ariana smiled and slid the glass across the counter to Helen as she accepted the drink offer. As she explained where the guys were, Ariana nodded knowingly. She knew her brothers well, of course, but she had an extreme desire to see Clayton, of all people. Eh, she was extremely aware of her attraction to him, it wasn't that odd. He was handsome, strong, masculine... yes, he was exactly Ari's type and she knew it. Still, she hadn't made her move just yet. She was having far too much fun running around with Helen to focus on men right about now. Still, she knew it would go that way eventually.
"Yes, the Queen is getting paranoid, I think," Ari rolled her eyes and leaning on the counter, swirling her own glass of wine and sniffing it before taking a sip. It was good stuff, not necessarily the best but it was up to par for today. Ari often wasn't that picky about her wine.
At the mention of a robbery, Ari raised an eyebrow and leaned closer as Helen did. "My word," Ari exclaimed, nodding as Helen mentioned that she should have killed him. "Did you catch a name? Perhaps we could teach him a little lesson if we can find the fellow. Granted... how did you stop him from taking the furs? Did you fight?" she asked, raising an eyebrow. She was sure Helen really would have killed him if he had succeeded in taking the furs... so then why did she let him go? HELEN KATRINA SAVAGE

[googlefont="Open Sans Condensed:300"] UNBREAKABLE [attr="class","next"] “The Queen needs to get her priorities in check. No one’s after her bloody throne,” Helen muttered in response. She would drink to that. Pressing her glass to her lips, she thought about it for a few more seconds. The Queen had her investigating a few out of the ordinary people in town, but none of them had proved to be anything other than the simplest of fools. The whole village was full of fools — Helen was certain that the only intelligent people were those working in the Queen’s guard as of late. “No name,” Helen lied as she rolled her shoulders, trying to get them to loosen up even more after her run. She was still feeling rather tight and uncomfortable. “No nothing. He didn’t even get away with the coat.” She muttered. Slightly offended she narrowed her eyes, “Of course I fought. The idiot dropped the coat but managed to get out with one of my favorite necklaces. The white gold locket. Keep an eye out for it in the black market.” She yawned as if it was droll news, but in reality, her heart had sped up considerably. The strange vigilante had her mind out of sorts and she was desperate to clear it. “Up for a spar?” Helen asked as she walked into the dining room and pulled the two swords out of the Savage family Coat of Arms. She weighed them in both of her hands before she threw the left one in Ari’s direction with a grin. She could always count on her friend to help her relax after a strange and off-kilter day.
