Helga Sinclair was born in Frankfurt, Germany as the first child of career officer U.S. Army Major Alexander Sinclair. Her mother was a socialite, content with the life of constant moving around that the family experienced. In fact, Helga enjoyed the travel as well. She experienced extensive travel per her father’s job as well as introductions to a variety of cultures and customers that she came to fall in love with. From Frankfurt to Mannheim, Torii Station, Vicenza, Camp Zama, Yongsan and Aberdeen Proving Ground, Helga was constantly on the move. Her five brothers came shortly after her, two sets of twins and the youngest — making her the only girl with five boys to call her constant companions.[break][break]
Her mother thought that she should join the dance troupe because of her exceptional athletic skill, but already at age four, Helga had different ideas for herself. She took after her father and her brothers more so than her mother. She beca learning combat arts at a young age and joined up with the military. While stationed in Maryland at age seventeen, she was introduced to Commander Lyle Rourke.[break][break]
She met in and fell in love…at least, she fell in love with the idea of him. Rourke, that is. She followed him to Fort Dix after that, beginning tactical and firearm training under him at the behest of her father. She enjoyed it and it showed through her skill. She impressed Rourke not only in her ability as a combat trainee, but also in her potential as a covert agent and a spy. Sinclair toured briefly with Commander Rourke in 1903 to continue her training. Allegedly, she was one of only three people alive who had bested Commander Rourke in both unarmed combat and chess, as if her looks weren’t intimidating enough.[break][break]
It became apparent to the outside would through the years that Rourke’s interest in Sinclair merely strategical, but the girl never gave up that he would feel something more for him. In 1907, she married U.S. Army 1st Lieutenant Christopher Jenkins, however, he died under suspicious circumstances not more than a year later. Sinclair didn’t give herself time to mourn, throwing herself back into her work. She had never been meant to be a housewife. She went back to the field and rejoined Rourke where she thought she belonged. [break][break]
She was assigned to a mission with Rourke in Egypt, working as an intelligence officer under him. She advanced both her martial arts skills as well as her knife-fighting and small arms combat. Under the recommendation of Rourke, she joined Whitmore Industries, where she worked as Whitmore’s personal bodyguard and chauffeur. [break][break]
The joining of Whitmore Industries and Rourke’s team came as quite the thrill for Sinclair. It was her job to get Milo Thatch onboard the Atlantis expedition, and what an easy task it became. The boy practically cooed under her expert hands. Soon they were all on their way to the land of Atlantis — but she was privy to more information than most: They were after a giant crystal. It was Rourke and her intention to bring back the crystal and collect the large fortune that was waiting for them on the other side. [break][break]
She served as the second-in-command of the expedition, carrying out Rourke’s orders and helping them escape the Leviathan after it destroys the Ulysses. She felt torn when they arrived at Atlantis, upon finding that there were people living there, however, she would follow Rourke to the ends of the earth and that was exactly why she went along with his little plan.[break][break]
After the crystal was found, Helga and Rourke were ready to go. They almost got away with it. almost.[break][break]
As they tried to bring the crystal (and Kida) to the surface, the balloon began going down, causing Rourke to throw her from the side of the contraption. But she didn’t die — no, Helga was much to strong for that. She used her last bit of strength to shoot a flare into the sky and bring the balloon crashing to the ground: Her love, Rourke along with it. And that was it. She was supposed to die, and yet…here she is, now, alive.[break][break]
[break][break]
She woke up in an abnormal amount of pain, struggling to open her eyes, her mouth dry. Helen Savage. She knew her name. She rolled to her side, holding onto her shoulder as she did. It felt like she had been dropped from a thousand feet. As she opened her eyes, she was greeted with the bright and oppressive sun. She stumbled to her feet and threw up — what ever had happened to her wasn’t sitting well. It took her some time, but she found them: her brothers. She knew they were hers when she saw them. It felt like a family reunion, despite the fact that she couldn’t remember who she was before now.[break][break]
Now, as a member of the Savage family, Helen and her brothers have practically been seducing the town with their good looks and bad intentions. They’re one of the most dangerous families in town, partially because they know exactly how to get what they want under the table. Helen retained her military and strategyc knowledge, preferring to spend her time on watch at the castle.[break][break]
