Belle had kept to herself a lot. It wasn't because she was rude or disliked anyone. It was simply because she felt she had been like that for some time... or at some point. Her memories were so muddled, so she couldn't fully explain it. However, there she was, more interested in books than in conversation... well unless someone came into the shop. Then the conversation was about books.
So what to do about that? The solution was simple. She would need to have a little party after the book shop closed. After all, there was an area with room to put food and for people to stand and converse. She would invite some of the other ladies in the village. She could get to know them, and perhaps arrange other gatherings or even just one-on-one meetings.
Belle was a pretty good cook, but she felt for this occasion little snacks would be fine, along with tea of course. Aesop watched her curiously as she prepared things, wondering just what was going on. That was a cat for you though... always curious. Belle smiled at him.
"I hope you are in a sociable mood tonight," she said. "You're going to meet some lovely new friends... at least I hope so." She hoped the ladies would accept, since some were total strangers."

She had received the invite after school and was more than happy to go and check things out. She hadn't really had time to meet people in the village, after all, when the school started things got pretty busy and she was quite glad she got to spend her time with children. The young woman got ready for the meeting in a nice white suit like outfit. She had pants, boots, and a shirt, with a cape like jacket. She looked quite beautiful. Looking at the clock she smiled, she was going to be a bit early and she hoped that the host didn't mind her coming a few minutes early.
Walking out of the door and down the walk, she hummed the same tune that was always stuck in her head. She wished she knew the lyrics to the song, but it was still a lovely melody. The woman made her way up to the book store and smiled. She had visited a few times to get some books for her class, but she never really had the time to get to know the lovely book keeper. Walking into the business she smiled her loving smile. The store seemed even more lovely tonight. "Hello? I'm sorry, I'm really early I know, but I was just a bit excited about this." That was no lie. Bailee was really excited about the night.

Ariel was quite excited about receiving an invitation for a girls night at the local bookstore. Ever since being in Wonderland she came across all kinds of different people, but none she really felt that she meshed well with - at least, enough to be good friends. It was a very lonely sort of feeling when you didn't have someone to enjoy dinner with every night, just to have someone to talk to about who you met and what went on that day. Maybe that was the fascination she had with her desire to fall in love - it would be an amazing adventure, for sure, but also she would love to just have someone to talk to about anything. She liked to talk.
"Hi! Thanks for inviting me!" Ariel cheered as she entered the book store, seeing two others there already. She recognized one of them as Isabelle, the girl who was putting on this little shindig, and then there was another girl she didn't know at all. She grinned as she went over to Belle, giving her a quick hug before Ariel found a nearby chair and sat in it. She immediately looked over to the other girl and chuckled at herself, standing back up and going over to her. "Sorry about that, I should have introduced myself first!" she said, giggling. "I'm Ariel - nice to meet you," she beamed. Ariel extended her hand, grinning. She was super excited to get to know everyone, and this was the first she was to meet, which was even more amazing. She hoped people enjoyed her company, though; that was a fear she had about parties and such. Ariel was very outgoing and friendly, but being in the middle of a bunch of people often made her analyze her choices and actions. It wasn't like she was terrified of groups or anything, Ariel just wanted to make sure it went well - especially since there was a good chance she was invited here for a reason, and that reason was because Belle thought they would all get along. Ariel wanted to make the most friends as possible, of course, so that was the main reason she was so antsy. She couldn't wait for everyone else to get here and see what would happen with them all! Smiling at the girl she'd just introduced herself to, Ariel noted if all the girls were as nice as these two seemed, then the night would be magical.

Ellie sighed as she sat down for the first time for the day; she had been running around the palace cleaning everything she could. She did not want the Queen angry because a little dusty bunny rolled by her foot. Elliana couldn’t remember much of her past but cleaning felt like something she knew. When she was cleaning she felt like herself and there was no confusion. Working kept the feeling of forgetting away. The young girl always had a feeling she was forgetting something important but could never place what that was. This was something that drove her positively mad. She changed out of her dirty cloths and changed into some clean ones. Her outfit did not look much different just cleaner; she wore a light brown skirt, turquoise shirt and black vest. Everyday she wore pretty much the same thing; after all maids could not afford the beautiful dresses that the royal court wore.
She made her way out of the castle and headed to the bookstore, Belle had said she was having a get together. Eliana had only met Belle a couple times when she ventured to the shop to get a book or two. She did not have many friends and maybe this was her chance to broaden her horizon, after all her life was rather lonely she had even started befriending mice in the palace.
It only took her about half an hour to walk to the shop, glancing in the window she could tell that some of the other girls had already arrived. “Sorry I am late, I could not get away from the castle”

(Gonna post as Belle, but other ladies can still come in.)
To Bailee:
The first lady to come in was one Belle didn't know well. Perhaps she had come into the shop before, but sadly even Belle didn't recall everyone who came in. Belle liked that though. She loved meeting new and fascinating people. Anyone and anything new was fascinating to Belle for some reason.
"Oh, don't worry. Please come in!" she said. "I'm Isabelle, but you can call me Belle."
To Ariel:
Belle smiled as Ariel entered. Two invited guests had come! This was wonderful! She didn't know Ariel well either, and before she could introduce herself, Ariel did.
"You're quite alright," she said. "I'm Belle. Welcome to both of you to my shop." She then turned to her cat. "Oh, and this is Aesop."
To Elliana:
Belle recalled Elliana from past meetings. Belle thought she was very sweet, and hated that she had to work in the castle for a Queen that she had not heard pleasant things about. She would try to make sure that Elliana had a nice time that evening.
"Oh, you're not late at all. Welcome, Sammi." she said. "Please, everyone, enjoy some snacks and tea and perhaps we can all get to know more about one another tonight."

Sally was mostly a loner, but it wasn't really by choice.. She'd just never really had much time to socialize. However, since she received an invitation for a Ladies Night at the local book store. This was an opportunity to meet the other girls in the village, and maybe make some friends. For the event, Sally made herself a nice dress. It wasn't anything too flashy, but it was nice..and it was always important to make a good impression. Once she finished changing in to her new dress, she locked up and walked toward the book store. She felt rather confident as she stepped inside and saw the other women who were already there. She didn't really recognize anyone, aside from passing them on the street. She'd seen Belle a few times though, because she loved reading.. but they never had much of a chance to speak. "Hi everyone," she spoke with a kind smile. "I hope I didn't miss anything."
With her, she had a picnic basket that held a plate of cookies inside of it that she had made. "I brought this for everyone.. I thought it would be polite to bring something for the hostess." She placed the cookies, along with the basket, on to the table where the other snacks were held. "I'm Sally, by the way. Sally Belladonna."

Meg wasn't sure about this. She had fixed stuff at Belle's bookshop before and it was nice, but a bit too cheerful for her taste. She thought a Ladies' Night there would be a bunch of women sitting around and talking about puppies and pretty clothes. That would make her sick after a while, especially if she had eaten a lot there first. So at first, every instinct told her to just to hit up the local tavern and have a few ales. Getting smashed and staggering home sounded as good of a plan as any.
However, after a while, she began to think about how lonely she was. In her memory, which she had seemed to feel was a bit off for some reason, she had always been lonely. She felt it just as much as she felt she wasn't the typical "good girl". She tried to be a loner, but she wanted to be around people as well. This could be a chance to meet some people and make some friends, even if some of them might be giggling girly-girls. So... why the heck not? What could it hurt?
Meg walked into the shop and looked around. In her arms was a basket of raisin bread that she had bought at the market. She wasn't sure if she was supposed to bring something or not, so she just went with her gut. The ladies there didn't look as girly as she imagined, so maybe this wouldn't be so bad. Closing the door, she formed half a smile at everyone.
"Um... hi... I'm Meg," she said.

The day we met, Frozen I held my breath Right from the start I knew that I'd found a home for my heart... ### WORDS TAG = Open BLABLA |
Bailee smiled, this was going to be a good night and she could feel it. "It's nice to meet you Belle, I'm Bailee." It was then that a red head had walked in and huged Belle, Bailee smiled, she was feeling a bit awkward that she didn't really know these people but she wanted too, she wanted to know everyone and well this was a place to start. As she introduced her self Bailee smiled. "It's nice to meet you too Ariel, I'm Bailee." The girl shook her hand lightly. Belle then welcomed them both to the store, and introduced the cute little cat that was just adorable. "It's very nice to meet you Aesop. Belle, thank-you so much for having a get together, it's nice to have something fun to do." She then turned her attention over to the blonde girl who had walked in. She appologized for being late and Belle spoke about her not being late, it was true, the girl was not late, they had just started.
Bailee offered a hand to Elliana. "I'm Bailee, It's nice to meet you." Turning her attention back to Belle she nodded at the idea of getting to know everyone.
A young girl walked in and placed a plate of cookies on the down and Bailee smiled. "You haven't missed anything yet. We were just going to start getting to know eachother, Its really nice to meet you as well Sally. I'm Bailee."
Bailee was really excited, the place was getting filled with girls. When another walked in Bailee smiled. "Hello Meg."

A ladies night was exactly the type of thing that Xan needed right now! When she received the invitation, she jumped up and down and squeeled right there in the chocolate shop. When the day finally came, Xan was a little distracted as per usual, so she found herself rushing to get into the bookshop on time. When she arrived, there were already several other ladies there! "Oi!" she called out loudly as she burst into the shop. "Hope the party didn't start without me!"
She skipped toward the center of the room, doing a little spin as she went. "I'm Xan, nice to meet you all!" she found a nice spot in between two of the other ladies and get comfortable leaning against the wall. Her foot was tapping at a million miles a minute, her adrenaline pumping. Holding still was not an easy thing for Xanthippe. Still, she tried to be cool for a moment and as she prepared for a fun night with the ladies.
(XANTHIPPE is pronounced ZAN-THIP-EE)

Elliana smiled nervously she was used to spending her time alone, yes the castle was a busy place and had many people but most never noticed her. When she was spoken to it wasn’t even someone talking to her it was someone barking their orders usually in a harsh tone. She was used to just sinking into the background until someone needed something or other done, Elliana was not sure how well she was going to do in such a social setting.
She watched delicately as more women entered the shop and introduce themselves. So far no one but Belle looked familiar. When Belle mentioned her not being late she let out a relieved sigh “Oh thank goodness, I hate being late” her voice gentle a quiet, she was also used to speaking quietly when she had to speak after all if she had to speak to another maid she did not want to disturb someone important like the Queen.
A dark haired woman made her way over and introduced herself to the young maid, she reached out her hand and Elliana gracefully shook it “It’s nice to meet to Bailee. I am Elliana” She was excited that tonight she may actually make a few friends. The only life she could remember was working at the palace, no friends, no love, no family… the closest thing she had to friends were the little mice who scurried around the palace.
A whirlwind of a girl sprouted into the bookstore, her energy made Elliana giggle. She seemed so hyper and so excited for the night and Elliana couldn’t help but feel that energy sink into her own skin. The girl skipped through the room and came over to the wall near where Elliana was “Nice to meet you Xan, I’m Elliana” the smile was still lingering on the blonde’s lips as she spoke to the dark haired girl.
