These were the basics. Jack hadn't been able to get that blonde haired girl off of his mind for the past week since he had met her. He distracted himself with wild antics and visits to the singing flower patch, hoping the off key operatic tones would block her out of his mind. But the truth was, he couldn't deny the fact that he hadn't stopped thinking of her for even a moment since then. Sure, she was just like everybody else. Playing along with this silly Wonderland. Though, she seemed to have something else inside her. A power, something that Jack just had to her a better look at, even if he didn't want to admit that out loud. So, here he was. Attending this stupid ball with stupid people who thought everything was going to be okay. He wore dark brown slacks, along with a navy blue button up shirt. That was good enough for him. Why did he think she would be here? What would he even say when he saw her? He wandered the ballroom, about ready to walk out when he found her and despite all his efforts to resist he started moving in her direction... @elsa

conceal don't feel, don't let it show. It would be a lie to say that she hadn’t thought about him. He seemed to plague her mind, even in the dark abyss of the night…and for what? Why was he there…stuck within her every thought? She didn’t even know. She tried busying herself in order to forget him, tried things that even she knew that she hated. She had tried getting out more, talking to other people…even spending more time at work. And yet she seemed to come back to him, to his words…to the words that he stated that she agreed with but was not going to say that she agreed with. She didn’t want him to believe that even she had thought of his words as true. And even tonight, after being talked into going to the masquerade, she found herself wondering if he was here. And when she had arrived, her light blue dress shinning with sparkles, her hair wrapped in a tight bun atop her head, gloves upon her hands and a silver mask upon her pale face, she looked around for him. And yet she found herself disappointed, perhaps he hadn’t come? He did say that he wanted to find a way out, so why come to a thing like this. The mask was annoying her, itching her flesh. She wanted to take it off. But when she felt a set of eyes burning in the back of her head, and she turned ever so slightly and noticed Jack she wasn’t going to take it off. She held her ground, her persona holding confidence. WORDS 261 TAG @jack NOTES Yay! <3 TEMPLATE BY MINNIE OF GANGNAM STYLE

As she turned around, Jack saw a mask donning her face. He had almost forgotten this was a masquerade. He stopped abruptly, lifting the black mask that someone had handed him as he walked in the door. He gave Elsa a little smirk as he lifted it, gesturing it in a little wave in her direction before lifting his other hand to tie it around his eyes. He continued walking until he reached her, his smirk growing wider as he gestured his arms out to both sides, "Guess who?" Hah, his idea of a joke. She looked even more magnificent from the front. That dress, that color... a sudden burst of memory, an image came into his mind. A castle of ice appearing out of nowhere. He shook the image off, by literally shaking his head quickly. @elsa

conceal don't feel, don't let it show. Elsa watched as Jackson seemed to lift the black mask up to his face, only giving a gesture of a wave with a small smirk upon his face before he tied it around his face. All she could see was features, but those eyes still dragged her in, spoke to her. No Elsa, do not think like that, her mind scolded her. She watched as he walked towards her and she held her head high and her eyes held confidence as she watched him gesture his arms out at her, a growing smirk upon her pale face. ‘Guess who?’She rolled her eyes, snorting. “Hmm...let me guess. My worst nightmare?” she questioned, her tone holding little to no emotion, almost seeming as she was being completely serious, but her eyes said otherwise. “You clean up quite nicely it would seem. I do not see you as a dance and fancy dressing kind of man.” she mused her eyes flashing over him for a moment before moving back to his eyes…eyes that he had seen so many times in the past, but that was impossible. They had only met not that long ago. WORDS 193 TAG @jack TEMPLATE BY MINNIE OF GANGNAM STYLE

Jackson right hand fell over the left side of his chest at her words, feigning a motion that she had hurt his heart. Her tone was cruel, cold even, but he was focused on her eyes. They had a glimmer to them, like snowflakes. But really, what was with all the snow and ice references, today? As she continued on, complimenting him in fact, his hand left his chest and reached out toward her, offering it palm up, "do your nightmares often consist of nicely cleaned up guys with a plea for a dance with the prettiest girl at the party?" Okay, okay. So pretty was an understatement and she was not a girl. But this was Jack for you. He took a slight step toward her, even though they were already standing fairly close. @elsa

conceal don't feel, don't let it show. Her eyes flickered with unknown emotions as he pretended to be hurt, even adding the finishing touch of placing his hand over his heart. She could tell his playful nature was showing itself just by the little action. How had she known he had a playful nature…she didn’t really know. She blinked slightly at the idea of just being able to tell that he had a child-like side. She internally shook her head. Elsa laughed at his words shaking her head “No, I do not have nightmares. But if that is your way of asking me to dance…you may need to practice in front of a mirror a bit more.” she said a light smile upon her face. He took a step towards her, and she found herself wanting to move backwards, but didn’t. she held her head high as she watched him. Waiting for him to make a move, to say something…to do something. Anything! She didn’t even realize that she was holding her breath until she felt her lungs beg for hair and she let out a breath, shakingly but none the less she let out the breath of life that she had been holding inside her. Jack smiled as she mentioned he may need to practice his words in the mirror more. It was a proud smile, as if he was proud that she had been able to come up with such a witty retort. He loved that about her, how she could sass him like it was the easiest thing in the world. He was surprised with himself at that thought. He had only seen her twice now, how could he love the way she did something as if she had done it multiple times? After a moment of simply staring into those icy blue eyes, he noticed he was holding his breath. At the same time he chose to let it go, she did the same. He chuckled, holding a hand out to her, "okay, let me try one more time," his voice was low now, serious almost. "Elsa, will you dance with me?" he looked down at his hand for a brief moment, but his eyes soon found her face again. @elsa
