As a collective, the Bimbettes are known to be love-struck maidens that swoon over Gaston due to his handsome physique. Laurette judges by how someone looks, though is not obsessed with her own looks, just the looks of others. She thinks anyone that doesn’t admire Gaston as much as she and her sisters do is crazy, and that is one of the reasons she doesn’t quite get Belle. She is easily upset and rather oblivious, especially towards Gaston’s aggressive demeanor. She is exceedingly boy-crazy and provocative. She is also very forgiving but can get quite jealous, and is known to come up with plans, along with her sisters, to get Gaston return their love to them and stop his obsession with Belle. She is not that book-smart though she is known to have brief moments of cleverness. After everything she and her sisters seem to have a nice and smart persona, especially after everything that happened. After the curse, she is shown to have developed quite a nice attitude, but she is still rather boy-crazy, she is also notably bright, she can also be quite stubborn, determined and exceedingly intelligent.

Laurette and her sisters, Claudette and Paulette, were born and raised in a little town in France. Even at a young age the three sisters seemed to be rather boy crazy and provocative. One day when younger they ran into a man named Gaston, sure he was older, but he caught all the girls attention. They easily fell for him. Laurette was known to always be with her sisters, the three triplets always together. Laurette was no different than them, though she was the middle triplet. Her older sister Claudette was the one that first saw Gaston first, causing both Laurette and their younger sister Paulette to become easily smitten with him. Together the three try to win his heart, unbeknownst that not all of them could marry the man. As they grew so did their beauty and grace, and when Laurette became a waitresses at the local tavern to get close to Gaston, who was a regular patron, her sisters soon followed. They are usually seen singing about how much they love Gaston and one day she along with her sister’s witness Belle reject Gaston’s advances. Though Laurette was rather jealous of Gaston’s admiration for Belle, they believed that the woman was rather crazy to reject Gaston. But after this, Paulette began once again to swoon over them, causing the same reaction out of her and Claudette.

Believing that Belle was to be wed to a local male, the three sisters begin to prepare for the wedding. Laurette setting up the wine table, all three content setting up, that is until Gaston arrives. They realize then that it is Gaston that Belle is to marry and they become shocked and devastated. Laurette voicing this realization to Claudette and Paulette briefly eavesdropping, this causes all three sisters to begin crying and sobbing vigorously when learning that Gaston was to propose to Belle. Laurette comforts Gaston at the Tavern later within the day when learning that the plan to marry Belle backfired and him falling in the mud, her sister’s following her example, although they briefly hesitated in actually giving him comfort until LeFou talks to Gaston.

During the singing within the tavern, the three sisters are sitting on a bench singing about Gaston being the burliest and brawniest of all the males of the town, and to show just how right they are he picks up the bench in which they are seated and later throws the bench down onto LeFou. Soon Laurette, along with Claudette leave Paulette alone within the Tavern. It isn’t until later that they make an appearance once again when Gaston has a plan to go after the Beast along with the lynch mob, but due to their non-violent nature they are not part of it.

Not long after Gaston leaves, darkness overtook Laurette and she doesn’t wake up until after the curse sets in.
