Tomatoes for the Pasta [Violet]

Bob loved it on days like this when the sun was shining, the weather was warm, and everything was fresh and crisp, especially the fresh produce that the vendors sold on the street at the market. He was sometimes assigned here to deal with complaints of cheating by vendors, ripoff goods mostly, but today was not one of those times. Nah, today he was buying some fresh tomatoes to put in his world-famous pasta sauce. Being a long-time bachelor meant learning how to cook, and Robert considered himself to have passed that class with flying colors. Still there were many recipes that he couldn't school people like Neil Kronkite or Tracy Birdwell on-- except for his pasta/spaghetti sauce. There was some beef in there, fresh mashed tomatoes with the skins, and another, secret ingredient that added that last, perfect, pristine flavor and made the eating unforgettable. He had been complimented on it many a time by coworkers and friends and colleagues alike.

Robert went right up to a stand with perfect, red, ripe tomatoes that caught his eye. He smiled at the woman selling them:she was a very kind lady, always passionate about the quality of her product and without tarnish. He was choosing which ones he wanted when lo and behold, Isobel Parr, the sister of his boss and friend Ellen walkedh up next to him. "Hi Isobel." he gave her a wave and a smile.
