March was about to go mad, simply mad! He sat in the tea room and tried so hard to enjoy his afternoon tea, but he couldn't take it anymore. The horrible noises! How dare they? How dare they drive him mad???!!! Finally, he rose and looked out the window. The kids skipping rope outside were singing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, How I Wonder Where You Are.
"No, no, no!" protested March. "It's 'Twinkle Twinkle Little Bat, How I Wonder What You're At?' You're befuddling a perfectly good song! GAH! GAH I SAY!!!" He then shut the window and stepped back to the table. Opening his lunch sack, he frowned as he peered inside. "Cheese sandwich and... carrot sticks? What do I look like, a rabbit? Who packed this cursed lunch? Oh wait... I did. It looks lovely." He munched on one of the veggies. "Mmmm... carrot sticks."
March then looked at the time on the teapot-shaped clock.
"Oh my, time to change the flowers!" he said. He then rose and went to a vase which held some dying daisies. He took the flowers out of the vase, threw the vase away and placed the flowers in a new vase. "There, much better." He then returned to his lunch.

Keith closed his shop and headed out for his normal tea break with the March and friends. He didn't know why he liked those guys so much, though he did quite enjoy their company. The man walked out of his shop and headed down out to the tea room. As he came up to the place he smiled at the children playing jump rope and waved at them, they smiled back at him and kept to their game. Keith was a normally quiet person. When he wanted to sneak up on people, it was like he could vanish and appear in a new spot but that would be quite odd.
As the Mr. March changed the flowers he walked in and quietly closed the door as so he could not be heard. As the man had gone back to eating his lunch, Keith crept up behind him and placed a hand on the man's shoulder. "Good Afternoon March. I hope you have been having a wonderful day." The smile on Keiths face grew, he knew that he could rarely sneak up on any of the tea room emploees because well for some reason they seemed to know a good amount of his tricks.

March turned as Keith walked into the tea shop. When he gave his greeting, March gave a gasp. To many, that would be a simply and friendly greeting. But March's mind was far from simple. He felt he had been wronged, and he had to speak up to be right things. He stepped over to Keith.
"You say good afternoon AND you wish me a wonderful day?" he said. "Good heavens, man, you're wrong on both counts! Surely you know the proper grammar in here! Get your adjectives and nouns right! I am having a Merry... adjective... Un-Birthday... noun. Remember that, sir, and all will be right with the world and things can go back to the way they should be." March nodded and stepped behind the counter.
"Now then, what would you like?" he asked. "We have a special on fruit teas today. That includes strawberry, blueberry, blackberry, raspberry, bosenberry, loganberry, snozberry, very berry, non-berry, and peach. However, we are out of all of those expect for peach." He then poured a cup and moved it toward Keith. "So... enjoy your Peach Tea? Why yes I shall." He then moved the cup back to him and sipped it.

music | Keith - others Keith smiled. He enjoyed the The Madness of March and would always smile around him. "Why bother with such silly words when I'm off the clock. For you my friend I shall remember them." As the working mad went over the teas they all sounded lovely but alas he didn't have any. With a sigh the man nodded. "For a tea shop not having lots of tea you certainly do offer a wide varitey. But I would love a cup of Peach tea." As Mark moved the tea towards him, he smiled and went to grab the class. Yet all failed when the March took it back. The man sighed. "Marvin, I would simply love a glass of tea, it would be nice to share conversation with my good friend." Keith would wait for his glass just like anyone else would, perhaps that was a lie, he would wait longer for a cup of tea. He watched the man and couldn't help but keep a bright smile on his face, the March was simply a good friend and could always make Keith smile, well for as long as he knew anyway. |

March was just astounded at what Keith said. The man seemed to shock him more and more by the moment. Such blasphemies, such atrocities! What the devil was the world coming to when one could speak this way in the general public.
"Why bother with such silly words, you say?" he gasped. "Why bother with such silliness? Sir, do you not know the great man's saying? 'A little nonsense now and then is cherished by the wisest men'! We must have a proper talk about this later."
March sipped his cup of tea and listened as Keith asked for a glass for himself. This made March assume he wanted iced tea. Iced tea in the summer... well he supposed that made sense. Now to find a glass.
"Tea for conversation?" he said. "Dear sir, you drive a hard bargain, but I know a good deal when I hear one." He then searched for a glass. Several cups went flying and smashed on the floor as he searched. "Hmmm... I can't seem to find a glass, and I seem to be rapidly running out of cups for some reason." He then rose and looked at the floor behind him. "Who made this mess?!" He then looked at Keith. "Would you settle for a cup of iced tea instead?" He began sweeping as he awaited an answer.

(I hope it's okay that I jump in here!)
Alice wanted something..but she couldn't quite put her finger on what it was. She had rummaged through her cabinets for what seemed like hours..but it was probably only ten or fifteen minutes, really. Each time she attempted to find what it was she was looking for and failed, she huffed and walked away, only to come back and try again. This happened quite a few times before she decided to get out of the house and look elsewhere. She roamed around the village until she suddenly realized what she wanted.. Tea! Of course it was tea! With a smile on her lips, she walked toward Mad Hatter's Tea Room.. a place which she had never quite been to before but was always curious about..
She could see people flittering about inside, and she opened the door and peered around. "Hello," she called to the only two people there. "I've never been here before, but I thought tea sounded perfect! And.. I happened to be out of it...which is a horrible, horrible thing, don't you agree?" She closed the door behind her, and she walked in to the shop further, a smile on her lips as she scanned both of them. "I hope i'm not interrupting anything."

music | Keith - others Keith did agree with the man, the nonsense was great, and he enjoyed that. So he agreed, he would try to talk more proper. "Alright March, you win. I shall try to use those silly words you like." He laughed a bit and watched the man throw the cups. Though it didn't really hit him that March was throwing cups, the thing he was looking for. "Hmm, perhaps the boss needs to order more cups. I have been noticing the lack of cups you guys have." Watching the man sweep he nodded. "Iced Tea, sounds like a treat." A girl walked in, a blond,e blue eyed curious girl. Keith turned from March and focused on the girl. She was familiar to him, he didn't know how or why, but it was like March felt to him when they first met. Familiar. Keith walked up to the girl and walked around her trying to figure it out. He then found he was being quite rude. "Forgive me, Seems I'm being rude." he then offered a hand to the girl. "Keith Thomas, owner of the Meows Mayhem." She wasn't interupting anything she was just going to make the party even better. this shop always did bring out the Wonderland Cheshire Cat in him. |

March was about to hand him the iced tea when his eyes widened.
"Dear me!" he said. "What am I doing? You can't very well have tea without crumpets!" He pulled the tea back and was about to toss it when he realized it was a waste of good tea. So he drank it. "Fortunately I have some baking. Here, I'll pour you a cup of tea while you wait for them." March poured it and was about to serve Keith when the girl walked in. "One moment, I have another customer." He then walked away from Keith, taking the latest cup with him.
Sipping the tea, he approached the girl.
"Oh, it's far better to be into it than out of it... unless you're into some trouble, my dear," he said to her. "And if you're in trouble, I don't think I can get you out of it. I merely make tea. In fact, I would make this gentleman here some if he'd stop walking about you and order it." March then looked closely at the girl. "Do I know you? Yes! You're the girl who came in last week and fixed my oven... only your hair was darker... and you were dressed differently... and you looked nothing like you do now. Wait, it's not you at all! Imposter!" March then sniffed the air as it smelled like something was burning. "MY CRUMPETS!!!" He ran to the oven and opened it. The crumpets were burned. "My beautiful crumpets!!! I need a drink!!!" He then turned and poured yet another cup of tea and sipped it. "Ahhh... much better."

Things happened very quickly when she walked in to the Tea shop. There was a man who walked around her, looking at her as if he knew her but didn't.. And there was another man who was wired for sound that seemed to know exactly who she was, only not at all. "It could very well have been me, I suppose.. With my memory being as it is of late, I could have been anyone doing anything, anywhere for that matter. Contrary wise, I don't think I've ever looked any different than I do now." Her eyes then focused on the man who was scoping her out when he introduced himself, and spoke of working at Meow's Mayhem. "The joke shop," she mused, knowing exactly what he was talking about. "I do love a good joke, perhaps i'll visit sometime."
Now it was her turn to introduce herself. "Alice Kingsleigh," She gave a small curtsy. "Pleased to meet you both." She stood on her tip toes, and peered at the high strung man who had just started sipping on tea to calm his nerves. "I do hope your crumpets survived the oven. Perhaps I didn't fix your stove properly during the time that I didn't look like myself. I do apologize for that, even if it wasn't me at all."

music | Keith - others Keith watched as march was about to hand him tea but then took it away, keith gave a small sigh but had a smile on his face. He knew he would never get that cup of tea but he really enjoyed the man and the place, but all attention was turned to the woman now and he was compleatly distracted by her that he didn't even hear March say he wasn't ordering anything or he would have made a comment to that. He was rather pleased to hear that she would visit his store. Her name was Alice, Alice Kinglseigh. Why did that sound so familiar to him, now the whole memory thing was bothering him, he knew he knew her and it was a pain that he couldn't remember. "It's a pleasure to meet you Alice." He smiled but when the crumpets made the room smell a bit he frowned. "For someone who is really good at tea, you really need to remember when you put the food in." He laughed and followed March back to the counter, looking back at Alice he smiled. "Well Alice, are you going to stand in the door way all day or join the party?" He laughed. |

At Alice:
March looked over Alice as she explained herself and how she never recalled looking different than she did now. She was on to something with that memory thing though. Something kept telling March that he was quite a different... person at one time. But he told that something to mind its own business.
"I suppose I'll let you off the hook this time, good lady," he said. "But next time, do a better job of fixing my oven if you decide to look like someone else."
He then listened to Alice as she spoke of not looking like the person who might not have fixed his oven or something like that.
"Now you speak in riddles!" he said. "Who brought you here, crazed woman? I'll wager it was a vengeful trickster, seeking to rattle my brain. But if riddles are your game, perhaps you can answer this one. What is at the beginning of eternity, as the end of time and space, at the beginning of every end and at the end of every race?"
At Keith:
March looked over when Keith spoke of when he put his food in.
"I know when I put the food in!" he said. "It was... it was... some time ago. See, I'm perfectly aware of when. It was put there in the recent past. With your attitude, you're lucky I even want to serve you tea." He then poured another cup and sipped it.
