| Madison had spent too many hours sketching and sewing clothes these days that she hadn't spent any time outdoors. She was stressing over the little things and she knew it. If she didn't go outside soon she was going to have a serious break down. Madison enjoyed any kind of sport and they seemed to always be a stress reliever.
While her new home was getting new floors put in she was living upstairs at her shop. From closing hours to opening hours she was working on new clothes without many breaks and it was finally wearing on her.
When she found out the village was getting a putt-putt course she was quick to make plans to go but became too wrapped up in her designing. Today was the perfect time to do go and why not now before school let out? Madison pulled her hair back and put on a more socially acceptable outfit.
Once arriving at the putt-putt course she collected her ball and stick, breathing in fresh air.

you take nothing but the best when you're footloose and collar-free Daniel, in contrast to Madison, had probably spent too many hours outside these days. As much as some people said that there wasn't such a thing (one needed all the Vitamin D they could soak up!) the hunky bachelor knew for sure that yeah, he probably should just hide under a roof for a little while. The last place he had even stepped foot inside was the Information Center, where he had met Minerva Walters by pure chance, and that was only for about an hour and already three days ago. What about sleep or food, you might be wondering? Well his bed had been grass and his ceiling the stars for the last couple weeks, as no one would take him in. It wasn't like he was a bad houseguest, but when your host wasn't sure if they would ever see you on a basis of more than once a month, it was understandable that they would take back their word after a while. Do that with everyone, and they would all say that they were full-housed and shut the door in your face. Even your best puppydog eyes wouldn't work. But give them a bit of time, maybe a month, and they would warm again. However, for that month you were stuck in the elements. It was irony, really. He had run out of couches to sleep on, and he really didn't feel like invading others' back porches just to sleep. He wasn't that kind of vagabond. Not like a stray dog or cat. Good thing the weather hadn't been too severe lately, and that it wasn't winter yet. It was just the sun's rays that he really had to deal with. Also something else to thank some higher power for, was that he had gotten sunburning every inch of his hide over with earlier in the summer. Now that getting second degree sunburns would be very possible and brutal, his tan came in handy.
Anyway, on with our actual, relevant story. It would probably come as no surprise to anyone who even remotely knew Daniel that out of everything that he could be doing in Wonderland right now, he was heading over to Magic Kingdom Putt-Putt. It was partly in hopes of seeing Minerva, his new friend, but he was also eager to play a round of mini-golf. It was golf, but with a lot less work and cutesy obstacle courses. He got there, his travelling bag (which also happened to be all he had) slung over his back, just after Madison Del Mar did. He knew her from around Wonderland, she owned the shop Madison's Vestimenta, where he got lots of his clothes from. She also happened to be a pretty great friend. She didn't notice him at first, but that was okay as he was focused on getting his ball and club anyway. As soon as he had them, he caught up with her at the first hole. "Hey, Madison." Putting on his most charming smile, he came up beside her, giving a casual wink. | | | OMG I am extremely sorry for the long huge introduction XD I promise I'll try to make it relevant later though! haha |

| Madison's pride and joy was her shop. She made casual wear for both genders as well as making activewear. No two things were exactly a like in her store but that stemmed from Madison's inability to share things. Everyone in Wonderland could rest assured that they were as unique as the clothing she made them.
Although she had spent all of her time in her store, Madison was still able to be a social butterfly. She was the only one working there and so she was the greeter, the checkout operator, the fitting room cleaner, mannequin dresser, and whatever else needed to be taken care of. It was a lot for one person to do but Madison liked the challenged.
Speaking of challenge.
Madison's attention went to the familiar voice calling her name and lo and behold it was Daniel. "Daniel!" She said shockingly, "I didn't peg you as a golfer." She playfully raised a brow at him. There was something so charming about Daniel. Maybe it was the piercing blue eyes or his bright smile? Perhaps it was his defined physique. Madison did has a sweet spot for those active boys.
"Clearly I was wrong." Madison dropped the ball at the starting line for the first hole before looking back up at her attractive friend. "You're more than welcome to join me. Fair warning though," She lowered her voice, "I never lose."

you take nothing but the best when you're footloose and collar-free Yes, nothing in her store was quite the same; the fabrics might be the same from garment to garment but the order they were in might vary, or she might do things to the cloth swatches to make them differently. It was quite interesting. Actually, the greenish-gray shirt Dan was wearing at the moment, he had gotten from her. It was comfortable, and one of his favorites. Sometimes Daniel wondered at how Madi could be as content as she was, knowing that she would be fine with settling down and running the shop for the rest of her life. (Well, maybe, Dan had heard of something called a "mid-life crisis" that messed plans like that up when one was in their forties... but that was still a bit ahead of them.) He wouldn't be able to do that even if he really wanted to. Something about his free-spirited ways really appealed to him. The active life, never standing still for a moment, was the one he had decided immediately that he was going to live. No questions asked.
"Daniel! I didn't peg you as a golfer. Clearly I was wrong." Her smile winked back at him. It was good to see her in high spirits, not like she wasn't usually that way but Dan liked it when people were happy. Any kind of joy was fine, but happy to see him was especially pleasing, as he could really be a jerk sometimes and so they had every right to not be excited about confronting him. "I'm actually not, really." he chuckled. "I just, you know, wanted to see the new outdoor attraction in Wonderland and happened to come at the same time as you." Taking his eyes off of her for a few minutes to watch her lay the ball down and start her round, his toothy smile changed to just a line.
"You're more than welcome to join me. Fair warning though, I never lose." "Oh really?" Dan responded and raised an eyebrow. "Hm, well I think I'm going to take a chance on winning. It's pretty even odds if you ask me." They would see... he leaned on his club as he waited for her to take her first shot.

| Madison didn't peg Daniel as a golfer and, to be honest, she wasn't one either. The brunette rolled her eyes with a loose laugh as he admitted he wasn't much of a golfer himself. When he went on to tell her that he wanted to see the new attraction she titled her head to the side with a half smile. "Looks like we're on the same page." Madison was more than happy that he had found her today and it would definitely make the game much more fun for her.
Madison dropped the ball onto the starting line for the first hole as she warned Daniel that she never lost a game. Clearly she was referring to every other sport she had tried, she had yet to play mini golf but she was confident in her aiming abilities. She set the putter on the grass and leaned on it, her short stature made it look almost natural. "Even odds is it?" She asked with raised brows. "If you say so." She shrugged with a light smile before turning back to the ball.
She lined up the face of the putter to the ball, taking it back a couple times before hitting the ball. From there it simply glided off-center down the strip and under a small bridge. By the time it had finished rolling it had hit the side not too far from the hole. With a shrug smile and a raise of her brows, she looked back at Daniel. "I'll met you at the hole."
She headed to the hole, making sure to stay off the green until she realised the ball wasn't as close to the hole as she had thought. Her nose crinkled as she looked up at Daniel, "If you get a hole in one, I swear." She was joking with him but she would be upset if he easily made the first shot.

you take nothing but the best when you're footloose and collar-free Madison's eye roll and airy laugh didn't go completely unnoticed; in getting to know and flirting with women, it was important that those kinds of things not be ignored. They might be useful later in knowing how to react, or reminding them that there was a time where she thought he was annoying. Was that a little bit of a devil-may-care attitude he sensed from her just now? Well, it was true! He didn't golf. He wasn't a sports person. He tried to work out on a regular basis, but found it hard to stay devoted. And it didn't help that he got the feeling that he had never played sports--even before where half his memory faded out. She seemed to recognize that he was here for the experience, though. "Looks like we're on the same page." Daniel smiled in agreement, shaking his head a bit and raising one eyebrow and corner of his mouth. He could have fist pumped, but he didn't want to take it that far, so he resigned himself to doing it mentally.
"If I say so? Well I just did, didn't I?" His full-fledged, toothy smile returned, and he met her gaze evenly, firmly, but also jokingly. "I still stand by my claim of equality." He would insist to the end. Even if she beat him, which he did fully expect to happen. In contrast to Madi, he wasn't so sure of his aiming, but he felt that he knew how much force he needed to put behind the club to make the distances he envisioned. Hopefully, whatever his eye missed, his muscles would make up for. Anyway, she lined up, concentrated, took the shot--and made it on the edge of the green. Daniel chuckled, but didn't linger on it too long. Instead he set his ball on the starting line, in about the middle, lined himself up, and waiting just a moment for Madison to get down to her ball, took a shot. His veered a little more off than hers, but it still managed to go under the bridge and emerge near the hole. Since he had used a little more force, it bounced off the concrete side of the course and rolled a little ways toward the hole. pressing his mouth into a line, Daniel held his club up and shrugged in a bit of surprise. Not too bad. "Nope, no hole in one. " There was no way he was making his first, either. "Your turn again."

| Daniel was an attractive guy and Madison would go so far as to say she fancied him. He was funny and rather kind to her. The young woman was positive that innocent flirting was all that would happen between the pair. Madison often times described herself as a dog with a bone. Not out loud of course. She had found that she likes the thrill of the chase, not the reward at the end. Even if she wanted a relationship with this ruggedly handsome man she assumed her feelings would fade fast. That didn't mean she couldn't harmlessly flirt with him until then, right?
Madison leaned on the club as she watched him take his first shot and gave him a very impressed face. "Not too shabby, Daniel." What if the feelings she had for him weren't just silly little feelings? What if she actually liked this man? Well now, Madison, don't go ruining a friendly game of putt-putt. She waved off her thoughts and focused herself on the ball, sizing up the distance between it and the hole.
Back in the kingdom under the seas, Madison was on a Waterball team. Ever since she arrived in Wonderland she had spent time playing baseball confidently thus she was sure her aim in a round of mini-golf was going to, well, be spot on. Much to her dismay she found herself not doing as well as she had hoped already. With a deep sigh of disappointment she knocked the ball into the hole on her second shot.
"Well I suppose this one wasn't so bad." She tried to speak positively, "A nice warm up, yes?"
