Hello my friend,
I see you're back again
Hello mystery,
don't bother to explain

It was funny, Daniel had never been inside the information center, despite it being probably the most curious place in Wonderland, and the only building they had found standing in the area when they had first woken up here. It was just an old shack, nothing majorly important. It would have been torn down for more lumber, but what had been found within made the place worth keeping. Placards-with curious writings that no one could explain, that seemed to advertise objects that were all but vanished. They had found no one to explain the existence of the cards or the locations of the missing objects, so it was assumed that either they had been there prior to the memory blank, or someone was just not fessing up.
Thinking back on that first day and remembering the sheer confusion and puzzlement was still easy for Dan. It was like, he could remember things, but he couldn't. He had pulled his name out of thin air, but couldn't remember anyone speaking it, or the parents that might have given it to him. Everything before that day was completely blank. If he hadn't existed before that date, then how could he know how to speak, retain all his basic knowledge, like how he knew a woman gave birth to a baby, and be able to control his basic, carnal instincts?
All of it was enough to throw him off. Think as hard as he could, back to where it had started, peer into the darkness of his mind. It was in these musings that he wondered... would something on the mysterious cards be the clue to a memory before the cutoff? It might be worth a try.
And so he was here. Glancing around, he moved to an empty display and started to read. One in particular caught his attention: "Hickory dickory dock, the mouse did know the clock..."
