Wilbur spent most of his time in the repair shop and as cool as that was, he knew it wasn't what he wanted to do with his life. No, he had his eyes set higher. The Wonderland Protection Agency was more up his alley but repairing old clocks would have to do for now.
Isobel had left Wilbur in charge of the repair shop for the day but it was too nice out to waste so he left the shop in a quick fashion. Wilbur still hadn't tried out his new invention, the rocket board, so he was on his way to the Pool of Tears. The area around the pool was open and there were never very many people there. Wilbur didn't even think that people would be there to enjoy the warmth in the pool so he was disappointed when he came to it's path to see other people there.
Wilbur tucked the board under her arm again and began backing up from the pathway as he bumped right into someone. Startled, he dropped his board and froze. Please don't be Isobel..
"Uh oh." He was afraid to even turn around.

GOT A WAY TO GO But it's worth the wait How could she not be outside when the weather was so perfect? Pepper was one to love the outdoors, rain or shine. She couldn't stand to be cooped up inside, and when it was as nice as it was today, she was definitely not sitting on her behind all day. Without even telling anyone, the young brunette left the orphanage to head out on an adventure. Where she would go, she had no idea. The plan was honestly to just walk and see where she ended up. It was at the Pool of Tears that she found herself. Odd enough, there were many people standing around and enjoying the outdoors. She never thought she'd see so many people there, as it wasn't a particularly popular place. Well, maybe it was just because it was so pretty outside, and quite hot as well. Her eyes locked on to a boy who was holding some board type thing and it instantly intrigued her. Being the outgoing and not so shy person that she was, Pepper started to walk right up to the boy. That was, until he took a step back and bumped into her, causing her to step back herself. "You obviously don't know how to look where you're going." She said bluntly, a small hint of humor in her tone. And he stood there. What was he waiting for? "Are you going to turn around and apologize, or are you going to continue to stand there like a goof and pretend you didn't just run into me?"WILBUR JAMES ROBINSON template by malin @ adoxography

It was crazy to think he was running right into his boss right? There was no way she was out here unless.. she was. Now if she was then it was the universe saying "Wilbur, you are an awful employee and you will never get away with anything ever ever ever". In that case, yes, Universe, you are right but that doesn't mean I'll listen to you. We both know I won't.
The voice behind him reassured him that he didn't bump into his boss but instead a girl with an attitude. His shoulders eased up and he let out a sigh of relief. Not today, Universe! Wilbur turned his attention to the voice that was laced with an equal amount of attitude and sarcasm. He spun around, nearly bumping into her again.
Much to his surprise, he was now standing in front of the most beautiful girl he had seen in Wonderland. He had his mouth open as if he was going to say something but not a single word came out. He was much too preoccupied with looking at the pretty girl in front of him. Wilbur shut his mouth and furrowed his brows at her. He shook his head as if that was going to get rid of every thought he had saying she was beautiful.
"Little girl, I don't have time to apologize to every person I run into." He flung his fingers out of the fists he had made with his hands. Wilbur crossed his arms in front of his chest and raised an eyebrow at her. "You know, it was kind of your fault I ran into you."
