Mera hadn't been in the village of wonderland in awhile. She had been travelling around Wonderland visiting different places, and finally had ended up back in the village. She walked the street and looking through the shops. Something grabbed Mera's attention. There was a musician playing an instrument, asking for money and obviously in need of food and shelter. She only had a little bit of money left herself so she couldn't give him any, but she decided to try and help him instead.
Mera smiled at him and set her things off to the side and stood beside the man. She raised up her arm and and began to sway it like it was a slow wave of water. Her other hand twirled around before it raised up to the other arm. Soon after, the rest of her body began to move, swaying with the music. A crowd began to gather, as they gathered she danced around them, twirling around a person every now and then before ending back in the middle as she twirled around, her long skirt looked like waves as she twirled and jumped around to the music.

Trini was heading home from school, humming and strutting about as usual. Trini was a cheerful girl, always in a great mood. She really had nothing to be sad about. Some people felt bad for her because she didn't have a dad. It didn't bother her or her mother. The fact was that... well... she never recalled having a dad and her mom never really recalled having a husband. So why be sad? Her and her mom did just fine on their own. Along with that, Trini had a lot of friends and a lot of places to place. Life was great! Trini walked along when she saw the woman dancing. The next thing she knew she was mesmerized. The dance was one of the coolest things she had ever seen. She then found herself trying to copy the dance, but not doing very well. She then frowned as she saw people giving her money. Oops! Was Trini supposed to pay to watch her dance. She dug in her pocket and grabbed the coin her mom gave her for ice cream money. She sighed and walked up to the woman. "I hope this is enough to watch you dance," she said. "I wish I had more. Your dancing is very nice." MERA YVETTE LEBEAU

Mera had been having fun dancing and was really into it when she spotted a young girl walking towards her with money. She stopped moving and met the girl in the middle of the crowd and listened as the girl offered Mera money up saying she hoped it was enough to watch her dance. Mera smiled and brought her hand down to carefully push the girl's hand back towards her. "You don't have to pay to watch me dance." She said.
"Why don't you dance with me for payment?" She said with a friendly smile and a wink as she had seen the girl trying to dance along with her. "Put your money back in pocket. I can teach you." She said as ahe held her hand out to the girl and waited for her to put the money away and take her hand before she would move again.

The woman was very pretty and smiled at Trini as she reached her hand out. Trini extended her hand, thinking the woman was going to take the money, but she pushed her hand away instead. She then told Trini that she didn't have to pay to watch her dance. Trini was surprised at first, but then realized how nice the woman seemed. She smiled back. "Okay, but if I need to pay next time, I'll bring an extra coin," she said. Trini had a feeling that the woman wouldn't charge her then either, but Trini didn't want to seem like she was taking advantage of the kind dancer. Trini's jaw dropped when the woman offered to let Trini dance with her. That was the coolest thing ever! Trini had danced with people, but no one as good as this person was. She ran over and stood by her. "You really want me to dance with you?" she said. "You'll really teach me those moves? Awesome! Oh..." She then extended her hand. "Sorry, I'm Trini Hopper. I don't live in the Village, but I live with my mom in the Woods nearby. It's nice to meet you!" Another grin beamed from the young girl. MERA YVETTE LEBEAU

Mera smiled when Trini said she would bring an extra coin if she needed to pay next time. "It's alright, no need to pay to watch next time either." she said with a reassuring smile. She took the girl's hand. "Of course! I saw that you were already dancing on your own, and dancing by myself is boring so I thought it would be more fun if we danced together. Don't you think so?" she asked her with a smile and a raised eyebrow.
"Nice to meet you Trini Hopper, I am Mera Lebeau." she said bowing to her in greeting. "Pleasure to meet you." she said as she bowed. "Let's dance!" she said as she twirled Trini carefully around, raising her arm above her head so she could spin around in a circle before carefully dragging her to the center of the crowd. "Just follow my lead, and if you need help with a move let me know. Sound good?" she asked her with a smile as she raised her hands back up.
((OOC: I figure we can skip ahead at next round of posting or something to where the crowd is dispersing and they could sit down to get something to eat or something? So they could talk more))

Trini smiled when Mera said that she didn't have to pay next time either. That was nice of her, but Trini still wanted to help if this was what the nice lady did for a living. That was just Trini, a girl with a heart twice as big as she was. She then giggled when Mera said it was more fun to have two people dancing. "Yeah, it's a whole lot more fun!" she said. "Mom and I dance at home sometimes to our record player, but sometimes she has to cook dinner and stuff and it's just me dancing. It's definitely not as fun."
Trini then smiled when Mera introduced herself. "That's a pretty name," she said. "And you're pretty too. I like your dancing clothes."Trini watched as Mera did her poses and moves and tried her best to follow along. The thing was that Mera was an accomplished dancer, and Trini was just a girl who danced with her mom or danced a bit with friends just for the fun of it. She really didn't know how to do it anywhere on the level Mera did. Still, she tried her best. She found regardless of having a bit of trouble, she was having a lot of fun. MERA YVETTE LEBEAU

Mera smiled as she danced along with Trini as Trini agreed with her that dancing with someone else was much more fun than dancing alone. She told Mera about dancing at home sometimes with her mom. "That sounds fun though, dancing with your mom. Even if you have to dance alone sometimes it must be a lot of fun to be able to listen to the record player and dance with your mom." she said thoughtfully.
Mera smiled. "Why thank you Miss Trini." she said when Trini complimented her, throwing a bow of sorts into her dance to thank the girl properly. "You are very pretty as well. I love your hair especially." she said with a smile. As the man playing the instrument seemed to get tired she looked to Trini. "Sounds like we need to have a big finish." she said with a smile. She took Trini's hands and twirled around with her one last time before letting her go in the middle to dance as Mera spun around the circle jumping and doing flips until ending up beside Trini in an ending pose, her back to Trini's back.
She smiled at Trini. "Wait right here." she said as the circle gave what money they could and a few people approached Mera to compliment her, one or two of them being men trying to pick her up but she politely refused as she made her way to the man with the money she had gotten. She gave him all of the money minus a small amount and he thanked her before she bowed politely to thank him for playing and headed back to Trini. "You must be hungry and probably very thirsty after dancing huh?" she asked her. "Why don't I buy you dinner as thanks for dancing with me?" she offered.

Trini smiled and nodded when Mera spoke of how fun it must have been to dance with her mother. She had always had a strong bond with her mother. They did so much together. "Are you going to be here a long time?" she asked. "You can meet my mom if you want to. She's really nice."Trini then smiled and playfully lowered her head in slight embarrassment as Mera told her that she was pretty. Like most kids, it was a tad awkward when someone called her pretty. "Awwww, I'm not that pretty, not like you," she said. Trini then did her part for the big finale and couldn't help but clap at the end. Mera was amazing! "That was so cool! I want to grow up and be a great dancer just like you!"Trini then waited when Mera asked her to. She watched as Mera did the business part. She smiled when Mera returned, but the smile dropped a little when Mera asked if she could buy her dinner. "Well, mom always makes dinner for me," she said. "And I can only stay out for another hour before I have to go home. Mom likes me home before dark. But if you want, we can have lemonade or something."MERA YVETTE LEBEAU

As they danced Trini asked Mera how long she was going to be in the village and offered to let Mera meet he mom. "I'm here for a few days at least. I like travelling a lot, but I just got back into town yesterday so I'll be here for a bit." she answered. "I would like that." she smiled, agreeing to meet Trini's mom.
Mera smiled and leaned forward "I think you will grow up to be a wonderful dancer. Throwing yourself in and letting the music guide you is the best way to learn how to dance. Well that and practice." she said with a chuckle.
Mera smiled, understanding Trini not wanting to get in trouble with her mom. "A nice cold drink will be great too." she said. "Shall we?" She said holding her hand out to Trini, figuring it would be easier to not get lost in the crowd.

Trini smiled about Mera agreeing to meet her mom. Trini always wanted to introduce her friends to her mom, no matter how old they were. This was because her mother had a big heart like Trini did. She welcomed most anyone in her home and treated them with the utmost hospitality. "Cool!" she said. "I'll let mom know and she can arrange a dinner for us. Do you like spaghetti? That's my favorite thing that my mom makes."
Trini then smiled, but looked down somewhat bashfully when Mera said she would grow up to be a wonderful dancer. Maybe that would be what Trini would do as an adult. "Thanks and I will practice!" she said. "I think they have places that teach dance here. Maybe I'll join."Trini smiled again when Mera agreed to the lemonade. She suddenly found herself very thirsty talking about it. She took Mera's hand and walked with her. When they arrived at a place where she liked to go, she looked at her new friend. "They have five kinds of lemonade here. Five kinds!" she said, pointing to the sign that said Lemonade, Strawberry Lemonade, Cranberry Lemonade, Lemonade Lite, and Lemon-Limeade. "I like the strawberry one."
Trini then looked at Mera curiously as a thought entered her head. "Mera, can I ask you something?" she said. "Do you remember anything from way far back? I don't. Mom doesn't either."MERA YVETTE LEBEAU

Mera smiled at Trini when she asked her about eating spaghetti as it was her favorite thing her mom made. "Spaghetti would be lovely." she said with a smile. "I will be looking forward to it."
"I've heard about that dance school. Thought about applying for a job there, but I like travelling so was worried about getting a job there and having to be stuck in town without being able to travel whenever I want to." Mera said acknowledging that she knew of the place at least.
She followed Trini to the place where she wanted to get something to drink. "Strawberry Lemonade sounds good." she said with smile. "I think I will try that one." She said with a smile. "Is that what you are getting too?" she asked Trini as they sat down.
Suddenly Trini asked her if she remembered way far back, and Mera had honestly not really thought about it. She had always been the live in the moment type of person, always going to new places and meeting new people, so she had not even considered the past, where she came from, her family, nothing. So for the first time she thought about it. What were her parents names? Where was she from? She couldn't recall. "No...I guess I can't really remember anything from when I was younger. Just a very short time ago." she said honestly. "I wonder why that is?" she thought out loud.

Trini grinned a big grin when Mera said spaghetti would be lovely. She hoped that Mera liked spaghetti, though Trini would have recommended something else to her mom. Mera would be the special guest after all. "I can't wait either, and I know mom will say yes to everything!" she said. Trini frowned when Mera said that she didn't want to be stuck in a place without getting to travel. Trini would love if Mera lived there. They could see one another all the time. "Well, if you did live and work here, you could always come to the Woods where I live if you wanted to travel," she said. " There's lots of places to explore there, and we could go farther out than I usually go because my mom would know I had you with me."
Trini nodded about the strawberry lemonade. "Yep, definitely, and you made an excellent choice," she said. "You won't regret it." Trini tried to sound like an adult now and then, but probably sounded even cuter when she did so. Trini frowned about Mera not remembering way far back either. She was hoping someone did. It was weird not having a lot of memories. And she wondered why it was as well. "I don't know," she said. "But sometimes I have dreams and I think that they might be my memories, but then I wake up and think they're too silly to be that. Like in a bunch of them, I'm a toy kangaroo, but I can move and talk and play. Mom's one too, and my friends are a tiger, a pig... oh, and a bear. Weird, huh? What do you dream?" She then turned to order the lemonades. MERA YVETTE LEBEAU

Mera smiled, "I hope so, because Spaghetti sounds wonderful." she said, and she meant it. She had not had a good home cooked meal in quite awhile. Always eating at pubs and the like since it was easier for her.
Trini mentioned that if she did live and work in town that Mera could visit her in order to be able to travel. "I will definitely consider that." She said with a smile.
Mera smiled happily hearing Trini say that she had made an excellent choice in choosing the Strawberry Lemonade. Trini reminded her a bit of herself somehow, and she was enjoying the company. Since she could remember in this place she had been travelling alone and it was kind of nice to have someone to talk to.
"A kangaroo huh? That's an interesting dream." she said. "I do have dreams but I'm always dancing in my dream. Usually barefoot." she said recalling the dreams she sometimes had. There was a disfigured man in her dreams sometimes but she didn't know if that would scare Trini or not so she thought it was a good idea not to mention that.

Trini nodded about the spaghetti. Everyone who had ever had her mom's spaghetti loved it. Whenever the people in the woods had a social, they asked her to make it. That always made Trini feel proud, and she loved helping her mom make it because she hoped she could make it herself for a lot of people one day. "Mom puts special stuff in it too," she said. "Like cooked veggies because we have a garden. Ooooh, when you come, I have to show you the garden. I have a place where I grow strawberries too. They're ripe now, but mom says we should save them and make a strawberry pie for the next party the people in the woods have."Trini nodded about the kangaroo dream being interesting. She enjoyed the dreams. She just wished she knew what they meant and why she kept having them. "In one dream, my bear friend ate too much honey and got stuck in a tree hole," she chuckled. "I forgot how we got him out, but we did."She then beamed about Mera dreaming of dancing barefoot. "Do you remember where you were dancing?" she asked. "I bet you were a beautiful princess in them. The lady at the bookshop, Ms. Belle, says she dreams about being a princess in an enchanted castle sometimes."MERA YVETTE LEBEAU
