March never took one big lunch break at work. Instead he took several small breaks throughout the day. It gave him little things to look forward to when the job was a bit too demanding...
But since today the Tea Room was closed and he had the day off, none of that mattered. He would be forced to take a day-long break whether he liked it or now. It was perfectly dreadful, not getting to take those little breaks, but he would endure.
With his day off and him being able to do anything he pleased other than be anywhere near his place of work, March naturally decided to hang out outside of the tea room. It was the only logical thing to do in his mind. If anything, it reminded him that he had to work there tomorrow.
A table was set up outside with tea and treats, enough for several. March did hope that his friend TARRANT LEWIS HIGHTOPP would wander over, and perhaps another or two. Tea parties weren't very fun without others. Really, they weren't really parties without others. for now though, March sipped his tea and studied a tree near the tea room.
"You know someone should do something about that tree," he said. "It provides far too much shade on a hot day. I think it has something against the sun. If only trees could talk. Perhaps they can, and I must learn their language! Ha! New project!"
