Stephanie heard that a new store had open and well she was a bit curious when it came to that kind of stuff. So she walked into the shop, and looked around. It was a make up shop of some sort. Well she really didn't know how to put on make up she just kinda went with it and if she put to much on then she spent the whole day wishing she didn't. She looked at the colors, there was so many choices, The color of a red caught her eye, it was beautiful and she loved it. She reached up and pulled it in to her hands and smiled. It was about the prettiest color she had ever seen and it went well with her skin tone. Though she knew she didn't have much money, the job she had didn't always give her to much extra to spend. She could afford her apartment and food but as for the extra stuff she couldn't. Putting the piece back she wondered around the rest of the shop, the place was beautiful but her eyes kept drawing back to the area of color she found. Something about it was familiar and she wanted so much to have one. "Look at this stuff... Isn't it neat." The girl said quietly to herself. EDEN ALANA COVE ( The color is the color of her mermaid tail.)

Days like these were the worst. Eden's small shop was empty, save for her, you could hear a pin drop. As she stood by the counter, mindlessly wiping it down with a damp cloth, her eyes kept glancing toward the spacious window at the front of her store. It could not be past noon, she knew this for sure, as she had not seen anyone pass by in the last hour. She knew she had a few more hours until the kids in the local school were off from classes and until then, she'd be lucky to get any customers at all.
She had not expected anyone, until she saw the cute blonde standing at the door. Usually, Eden would jump at the opportunity to drag someone to her colorful display of lipsticks, but instead she offered the girl a warm hello and a small smile, then let her go about her business. Just as she had suspected, her new customer seemed to instinctively move to the counter full of lipstick. Eden watched in silence as the girl reached out to grab the red lipstick with her delicate looking fingers.
A big smile formed on Eden's lips when the blonde spoke. Eden couldn't put her finger on it, but something about her seemed familiar. There was a moment of panic in her eyes, what if she knew this girl from her past? Eden was not fond of thinking about that, she'd done such a great job at moving on with her life so far.
"That would be a great color for your skin tone," she offered, finally speaking up. She pointed at the color the girl had been eyeing earlier. "Why don't you try it on?"

It was surprising when Stephanie was caught off guard by the woman who she saw at the counter after her looking around, she was surpised she didn't notice her before. Stephanie bit her lip and hopped that she was not doing anything wrong by holding the lipstick, but when she heard movement the girl freaked out a bit inside.
Stephanie looked up as the woman walked over, she seemed familiar but stephanie didn't know her but perhaps she saw her around. Shrugging it of she smiled. "I think its a very pretty color," When The woman told stephanie she could try some she smiled wide. "I would love to." the girl smiled bright then looked down at the lipstick and her smile faded. Could she tell this woman that she didn't know how to makeup? Would she make fun of her? Stephanie looked back up at her with sad eyes. "I don't know how to put it on. Make up is new to me, or at least I think it is. I mostly deal with music stuff so I don't have enough money for Make up." She said in truth hoping the woman would understand.
What scared her the most was the thought that the woman would make fun of her and tease her about not being able to do what most girls do. Yet she really hoped the other would teach her. She really loved this color, and she wanted to try it on but she didn't know how. Lightly she placed the lipstick back on the counter and sighed, being a girl was hard.

Keeping a smile on her face was essential now, she didn't want the girl to think Eden was judging her. There was no reason to either way. Plenty of girls and women came to Eden's shop without the slightness clue about make up. She had to reassure them that there was no specific, correct way to to it. Everyone had their own routine and their own secrets. She, too, started this business without knowledge about make up. When her shop opened, she only specialized in face creams, but the demand for make up took her by surprise. You'd be surprised how much money the daughters of the elite class would pay to look good.
"That's alright," Eden reached over to grab the red lipstick. She pulled the cap off, revealing it to her. She showed the blonde to a near by mirror, admiring the girl's reflection. She had great lips, this would surely draw attention to them. "Don't worry about money, I always give new customers a starting present. This can be yours."
That was mostly a lie, she'd give discounts, but if she gave free stuff right and left she'd be out of business. This time, though, she'd make an exception. "I can teach you. Do you mind?" she had to ask permission first, before even putting the lipstick near the girl's face.
