| To be honest Lilo was surprised she got on well with her housemates. After months of living with them she realised they needed her just as much as she needed them. Lilo was much too distracted with her camera and all of it's problems to spend much time with her roommates these days. She spent so much time locked up in her room or the library that she forgot to be a friend. Today, as she bounced down the stairs of her home, she was going to spend time with her Koda. She grabbed her bag as she headed out the door and towards the village. She grabbed an assortment of berries from a stand and payed for them on her way to his work. Quickly she stuffed the bag of berries into her bag as she high tailed it through the village. All of her rushing was for not, though. She arrived to the building and not a soul was around. Thinking she was just early, Lilo took a seat on the brick wall outside before taking the berries back out of her bag. The front door of the building opened a few times as people came out, stealing Lilo's attention from her berries each time.
"I'm going to eat all of these berries by the time he shows.." She mumbled beneath her breath as she popped a blueberry into her mouth.

"Are you sure this is everything? I know you forget some things Bolt.." Doc said from his desk, dark murky eyes looking up at the blonde boy. Bolt nodded, swallowing back the pit of butterflies that grew the longer the doctor looked at him. "Y-yes, sir." Bolt stated, folding his hands in front of himself. Doc looked back at the folder one last time, before nodding. "Alright then. I'll see you tomorrow then. trainee." Bolt nodded once again, before rushing to grab his satchel from the chair, and waving to the handsome doctor before leaving the office with a relieved sigh. It probably wasn't good to have a crush on your co-workers, especially if they might become your boss. Fixing his satchel, Bolt arrived at his office, expecting to see the Koda's long messy hair, but was met with an empty office. Bolt frowned, taking a moment to check behind the door in case Koda was trying to scare him. But again he was met with nothing. Sighing to himself, Bolt walked to his desk, and tugged on his suit jacket, tossing his satchel over it before sticking some files in his desk, and shutting off the lights. If they kept the lights on, Ellen would get on them about the electricity wastage. And that was something Bolt didn't want anyone to go through. Waving bye to some of the passing officers, Bolt jogged down the stairs and head to the front desk to sign out. While scribbling down his information, his brown eyes flickered to a pretty brunette girl waiting at the counter with food. Oh he'd love some food right now. Releasing that he was staring, and that was very rude, he decided to introduce himself. Since he was in the WPA it'd be good for him to meet some of the town's people. Especially if there were around his age. Finishing up his papers, he passed it back to the lobbyist before turning to the girl. "Hi, I'm Bolt. Are you waiting for someone?" LILO KAIPO PELEKAI |

| After the first five minutes Lilo stopped looking around for her friend. Her attention turned to her bag and of course her berries. The shuffled through the objects inside her bag, making various noises at the things inside. Oh, there was that necklace she had been looking for. When was the last time she went through this thing? And what was that?
She snapped her bag shut and looked around the room as if someone was watching her. To be honest, her trip to see Hiro had left her a little skeptical of other people. Lilo was at the Wonderland Protection Agency, so she was fine, wasn't she? She was safe.
Her attention turned to a young man at the desk who was called Bolt, that name was familiar to her and it wasn't until he turned around and introduced himself to her that it hit her. "You work with Koda." Lilo blurted out as a smile stretched across her face. "I'm Lilo." She didn't expect him to know of her, as a matter a fact, she was certain Koda didn't talk about his all-female-housemates unless he was complaining.
"I'm just waiting for him. Have you seen him?"

A warm smile spread through Bolt's feature. He heard about Lilo from Koda. She fit the description very well. "Nice to meet you, Lilo." He bowed his head, tucking his jacket onto his arm, before moving onto her next question. Where was Koda? Bolt gave a small frown. "I don't know actually. I was on training duty, so he could be on a mission right now." Bolt for unusually guilty for not knowing where Koda was. They were partners. What if he got hurt?
"I could help you look for him, or wait for him to come back-" Bolt was interrupted by the growling of his stomach. Bolt blushed, looking down at his abdomen before sighing lightly. "Excuse me." He had been doing a lot of physical work, which resulted in him being more hungry then usual. It was his own fault he hadn't eaten really. He didn't have the will power to leave Doc's training early.
He could grab dinner right now, but he didn't want to leave Lilo-oh wait, Bolt had an idea. "Hey, I'm kind of hungry right now, and I don't want to leave you around so do you wanna go grab dinner with me? I can tell Ms. Peggy to tell Koda to head over once he comes back?" |

| Lilo was good with faceS but even better with names. When Koda talked she always listened, she enjoyed his stories about the Wonderland Protection Agency but she always liked the way he spoke so passionately about it. Honestly, Lilo just liked his voice and his dorky smile. Anyway, she had heard him speak of Bolt numerous times that she felt like she knew him. When he turned and introduced himself to her a smile crept across her face. Finally she had a face to put with the name.
Kindly, Bolt offered to help her find Koda or wait for him until his stomach interjected. With a chuckle, Lilo picked up her container of berries and offered them to him. "A couple berries might keep the beast tamed." She shrugged her shoulder with a grin. "Well, he doesn't exactly know that I'm waiting for him. It was suppose to be a surprise." Lilo spoke softly before puckering her lips. Perhaps he was just busy with work and who knows how long it would be before he was finished.
"Do you wanna go grab dinner with me? I can tell Ms. Peggy to tell Koda to head over once he comes back". Lilo looked up at Bolt for a moment, she didn't want to leave without seeing Koda but it couldn't hurt to grab some food to pass the time. "You know," The short brunette came to her feet, "That doesn't sound like a bad idea."

Bolt sent a grateful smile as she offered the berries, before a few in his palm and tossing them into his mouth. "Thanks-" Bolt stopped as he realized he wasn't suppose to talk when eating and instead turned to Ms. Peggy behind the counter. "Could you tell Koda we're down where we were suppose to get lunch later? He knows the place." Ms. Peggy nodded, and Bolt sent a smile her way before facing Lilo.
"Alright, let's go then." Tossing the last berry in his mouth, Bolt walked beside Lilo as they walked out the busy building into the town center of Wonderland. There were numerous places they could go to eat, but Bolt wanted to check out a certain place.
"Thanks for heading out with me. Koda's told me a lot about you, so it's nice to meet you in person. I hope he can tag along soon. His food will get cold." Bolt said, his eyes distracted by the bright lights surrounding the town center, giving the area a pretty glow. Reaching the restaurant a few doors down, Bolt pulled the door open for Lilo before stepping in.
"I think the place is called Neil's Eats Hut? Something like that, I hope. You can choose where we sit." |

| The whole reason for grabbing berries was to surprise Koda when he got off of work. She was sure she wasn't going to eat til much later in the day thus she began eating without him. Lilo loved berries but so did all of her housemates which is why she was willing to share with Bolt the moment she heard his stomach growl. She was use to sharing.
Lilo, after coming to her feet, shut the container of berries and stuffed them back into her bag before bouncing after Bolt. One step of her's seemed to equal three of his but she didn't mind walking at a faster pace. "I could go for some food myself." She admitted after he thanked her for willingly joining. Apparently Koda had spoken about Lilo more than once to Bolt which surprised her. It really shouldn't seeing as how they were very close friends and housemates. "I hope he finishes whatever he's doing, too, I haven't seen him much these days."
The two walked through the village but Lilo was distracted in thought until Bolt spoke again. "The Hut?" She looked up at Bolt and grinned wildly. "I love this place!" Quickly she went through the door that was held open for her and scanned the room for an open table. "I went here once when it first opened. I haven't been back since, though." Lilo called back to Bolt as she led them to an open table smack dab in the middle of the restaurant. Lilo was more fond of the tables in the center of the room than little booths. She liked to watch all the people around her.
"I've been so preoccupied with my camera to go out and the studio isn't attracting many people recently so even if I wanted to go out I wouldn't have much money to work with." She set her bag on the floor beside the chair before taking a seat. "Oh - but I have enough for lunch. Don't worry."

Bolt awed as he looked around the semi busy restaurant. He had always loved going out to eat, it made him feel like he was experiencing the world and what not-Penny's quote, not his. Not to mention, he loved food, and he had no doubt that Neil's Eats Hut would beat his expectations. Following Lilo to the table she chose, Bolt let out a low whistle. "I've never been before now. I meant to take my little sister, but school got busy, especially since it's ending. I'll take her in the summer, maybe."
Sitting down in the chair opposite to Lilo, also beside Koda's empty seat, Bolt perked up excitedly as Lilo talked about her camera and studio. "You have a studio? That's so cool. And my little sister loves photography. Is the studio for photography or something else?"
Bolt stopped as he heard her last words, and frowned. This was a conversation he had with Penny many times, and he was sure he could carry it out himself now. Bolt took a deep breath. "Okay, forgive me if I say this wrong. I want to pay because you're my friend. I absolutely do not doubt your ability to handle yourself at all, and this has nothing to do with you being a girl, and me being a guy, I just want to pay to be a good friend." Bolt said carefully, hoping his words came out right.
Penny was like Lilo in many ways, both were independent from what he seen, along with other things. Bolt got along with Penny really well, so he hoped he worked the same way with Lilo. "Is that okay?" WORDS 000 TAGS LILO KAIPO PELEKAINOTES --- We should tag Koda soon when we want him to arrive? |

| "I'd recommend it, it's so good!" Lilo responded, referring to the food at the hut. When she had gone by herself she tried as much food as she could, then again she had a lot of money in her pocket back then. She proudly hosted a grin when he asked about her studio. "It's very cool." The studio was obviously her pride and joy. "No, it isn't for photography. It's dance studio."
Lilo stopped for a moment, she hadn't met anyone else in Wonderland that enjoyed photography. As a matter a fact, most people looked at her crazy when she talked about it. "Your sister likes photography?" Her eyes widened a little, "How old is she?" perhaps she was the girl she had seen around Wonderland with a camera.
Lilo liked to think she was independent. On a bad day she would remind herself that she was successful - she had a job that made her happy and helped her meet new people. She tried to save up her money but with buying berries multiple times on a daily basis, well, it added up pretty quickly. The brunette was used to buying groceries for the house and well buying everything for everyone there all the time. When Bolt explained he wanted to pay not because of gender stereotype but because he just wanted too, Lilo shrugged in response.
"If you want to pay, that's fine." She picked up the menu and began looking over the drinks listed. "But I'm paying next time. Well - you know - if we hangout again." Lilo didn't see why they couldn't, Bolt seemed perfectly fine to her. Besides, Koda gave him the stamp of approval so how bad could he be?

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry! Gimme berries!" Koda called as he ran down the street, bursting to where Lilo was waiting for him. He stopped abruptly when he saw Bolt there, "Buddyyy," he said, offering his hand for a high five to his work partner in crime, "hey, I left the office early, sorry if I worried you," Koda said to his fast friend.
He turned to Lilo, "Here!" he said, pulling a group of wildflowers from behind his back. A few stems were bent from his run but overall they were still in good condition. "I thought we'd want some flowers with our lunch," he moved to sit down in the chair beside her, across from Bolt.
He picked up a menu but didn't even read it. Koda had a hard time focusing on too many things at once, especially with such excitement going on, "so, Bolt, what are you doing here? Just stumbled on a pretty girl and decided to make a move?" he winked at the blonde, completely joking, of course!

Bolt practically lit up when Lilo asked more about his sister. He loved his sister, he loved talking about her even more. She was his favorite person in the world. In the universe. "She's 16, and her name is Penny. And she's loved photography since she was-" Bolt stopped, his mind becoming blurry as he tried to remember when Penny started liking photography. "Well, I know she was young, but I don't remember back then much, I guess." He says after a bit before pushing the confusing matter to the side. And it was the perfect timing too, because a mere seconds later, Koda was running in.
Bolt high fived Koda with a grin before scooting his seat so Koda had some more leg room. "Glad you can make it." Bolt thanked earnestly with a nod before flipping his menu open. Just as he got to main dishes, he heard Koda tease him about pretty girls, and Bolt turned a bright red. "What? No, no way. Not that Lilo is pretty, she's like gorgeous, but no, she's just a friend." Bolt really hoped the conversation turned elsewhere because he knew pretty well that the one person Bolt was trying to make a move on was definitely not Lilo.
Or a girl.
Bolt blushes deeply and lifts the menu in front of his face and begins scanning for a meal at the embarrassing thought. |

| Lilo didn't know many people in Wonderland, the only ones she got along with were her housemates and the rest seemed to either not care for her or picked on her. She had heard of one other person with a camera while she herself was searching for answers. Although, Lilo never met the owner of the second camera in Wonderland. Her smile stayed humbly across her lips as Bolt gushed about his sister. "Well she's not much younger than I!" Lilo managed to blurt out right before Koda bursted through the door of the hut.
"Yea, nice of you to join us!" Her words filled with attitude, although she was joking.. Or perhaps not. She wasn't 100 % sure.
She chuckled as Koda revealed the small bouquet of wildflowers - they were wild, indeed. "They look great, Koda." Lilo politely said as she took the boutique and plopped them down in her empty cup. "I have something for you, as well." She picked up her bag from beside her chair and began rummaging through it. She picked out a water bottle and the container of assorted berries. "These are for you.. and this is for them." She placed the container in front of him before opening the water bottle lid and pouring some water into the cup of flowers.
While the boys looked at their menus, Lilo stuck the water bottle back into her bag and tossed it onto the floor beside her chair. She already knew what she wanted so there was no need to look. For a moment she spaced out until Koda spoke up again. This caused their company to blush deeply. Lilo was well aware that he was joking with Bolt but his response made it even better.
"You could take the pretty girl out to dinner if you'd ever show up on time." Lilo joked as she tried to move the attention off of Bolt, perhaps give him time to compose himself.

Oh the sass that came out of Lilos mouth. Koda couldn't help but give her a big goofy grin as he say beside her. As she said she had something for him, Koda lifted an arm and casually placed it on the back of Lilos chair, letting his hand hang over the side. "Ooh, for me?" he leaned toward her as she rummaged through her back until she pulled out the items. He nodded and reached his free hand over to take the berries, gently popping the lid open and taking eating one of the delicious things. "Aw, thanks," he said, as he gestured to the flowers, "I tried to be kind but... I was sort of in a hurry to get here. Obviously," he laughed as he went back to perusing the menu.
As Bolt when on to say that Lilo was gorgeous, Koda gave a nod. "Ooh, ouch," Koda commented as Lilo called him out for being late, "I cross my heart, hope to die, next time I'll be on time," he looked at her with pleading eyes, "just give me another chance!" he was being dramatic, of course. This was what Koda did, he rarely took anything seriously.
Koda was completely oblivious as to Bolts blushing and hiding his face. He just thought the dude must have been really hungry!
