are you a lord, or a warrior? Her feet crunched against the earth, dark eyes wandering around as she walked. Ever since turning twenty years old she felt cut off from her friends. She was older than them all, being both two and one year older. Most of the group seemed to see her as the mother figure of the group, surely she wasn’t a mother. She was a child at heart, always had been. When her mother and father passed not too long ago, it was her friends that had helped her through it. Of course they had taken her in with open arms, but she had stayed at home. It was right after her eighteenth birthday that they passed, so it didn’t really matter that she was home by herself, she was an adult. That of course didn’t stop the WPA from checking in every once in a while.
She walked along a beaten path, eyes moving along the trees. She didn’t know where she was going or where she would end up, but she didn’t stop her trek. Not even when she broke free from the darkness and came across a pond. She frowned at it growing closer, slowly sinking down to her knees. She looked at her reflection within it. That was until she heard crunching behind her, her head snapped around, eyes moving rapidly.
“Who is there?” she called.

If the heat was bother him, Rhett did not let it show on his face. If the fresh air bothered him, he most certainly did. Something always felt off when he was outside. The wide open spaces bothered him terribly. To know that there could be an infinite amount of space was something that bothered him. Being in the woods made Rhett feel a bit more secure, but being around people would make him feel a lot better. Therefore when he saw the presence of a blonde girl by the lake near the forest, he had to stop himself from immediately going over there.
He was out going and very friendly, the perfect person to go out and talk to strangers. But some people were put off by his happy go lucky personality. It was starting to make him sad. But maybe this woman would be different. So he put on one of his biggest smiles and he left the woods to walk over to her so they could speak. But before he could greet her, she had spun around to look at him and he took a step back.
“Didn’t mean to scare you. I was just coming over to say hi, that’s all,” He insisted as he put his hands up.

are you a lord, or a warrior? Elle wasn’t easy to scare, not in a long shot. Since she could remember, fear was just something that she rarely felt. But she knew that somewhere deep within her she had fear…just not right now. Her eyes moved along, jumping from tree to tree as she looked for whatever was out there, whatever was watching her from the shadows of the day. She slowly stood, her eyes never leaving the forest and then a figure appeared, slowly moving towards her with a huge smile upon his face. It was a startling happy smile, one that was rarely seen among the folk of Wonderland. At least Elle rarely saw a smiling face anymore, and it brought her mood down terribly. ‘Didn’t mean to scare you. I was just coming over to say hi, that’s all.’A small smile appeared upon the blondes lip, tucking a fallen strand of blonde behind her ear, shaking her head with a small laugh. “It is okay. You didn’t scare me…I am glad that you came over though, even if it was just to say hi.” she said, her eyes glimmering with friendliness. “I’m Elle…and you are?” she questioned, curious of who this man was.
