Elijah was grateful for the life he was given. Thanks to the pride family he was doing quite well. Simba was someone Elijah looked up to and he saw Kiara like his own. Elijah had everything he could have wanted. He had a home, job, and a community of people he adored. Elijah was a very friendly person, yet some people were very nervous around him due to his very dominate appearance. Yet those who actually came up and spoke to him knew that he was a true gentalmen and would do anything in his power to make someone happy or get them something they needed. He was truly someone who would go to bat for his friends and he would help Simba with anything he needed. That did not mean that the man was weak, no, he was actually quite strong and fit. He would work out on his off time, after all, if an attack came too, Elijah was not one to fight with weapons, he fought with his bare hands. Today started out just like any other, Elijah got up, worked out, showered and got dressed in his suit and headed out to the rest of the world. The man walked along the farms that were being tended by others and he waived at them. Once he got to the main area of the place he walked into a small café that was normally used for those who needed a break. Elijah thought of it as a good place to get his coffee for the morning. "Goodmorning Mr. Alastair, would you like the normal?" The girl behind the counter asked and he nodded. "Yes please." The girl handed him the coffee and he took his seat next to the window. Unlike Elija, Miel had not found her own place here. She was that weird girl who always wandered around looking lost. She could tell by now that the other villagers weren't too fund of her looking throughout there land. She was always looking for something, something that she didn't even know. However, today was different. Miel had a good feeling about today. As she walked along side the small cottages and gardens, she avoiding eye contact, but kept a smile on her face. When she reached the establishment, she gently pushed the door open. Her head poked inside, letting herself look around before anyone could see her. Her shoulders slumped over with disappointment as she realized it looked like it did every other day. For some reason, she had expected something spectacular waiting for her. As if a giant, blinking clue would be here for her.
"Good morning," she greeted the girl behind the counter. In reality, this young girl was the most familiar thing Miel knew, she saw her almost every day. "I'll have one cup of tea, please." Miel handed the girl her money and stepped out the line to wait for her drink. Once she had it in her hands, she looked around once more. There was a man sitting by Miel's favorite window now, but surely he wouldn't mind sharing, right? She called it her window, even though she knew dozens of others frequented the spot. It only made sense that someone else would take that spot so early in the morning. "Excuse me, sir." She gently bit on her lower lip before speaking up again. "Do you mind if I sit here as well?"
