[break]From the time Maximus was a tiny filly he was trained to be the best of the best. He enjoyed his training and loved every moment of it. Once he was grown up he was taken under by the Captain of the Guard. Maximus loved his job and was always the best at chasing down the bad guys. His true calling came when Flynn Rider broke in to the Castle and stole the princess' crown. The Captain would spit out orders to catch Flynn at any cost and Maximus followed. When Flynn got on to Maximus' back the horse wanted nothing more then to catch him and get the Satchel back. This caused them to go out on to a tree where Max tried to stomp Flynn off of the tree and caused the two to fall. While Flynn eventually got away Maximus was hot on his trail sniffing him out. While Flynn was in the tower with Rapunzel Maximus was Trying to hunt him down. Turning over every stone, looking up every tree. The horse was so determined to find the man who stole from his home, that he would do anything to find him. It was then that he herd someone coming and he hid, he knew it was flynn, so when they got close he jumped out and scared them, only to find out that it was not who he was looking for, confused he left and went on his way back to finding Flynn. [break]
[break] Maximus the tracked them down to a tavern called the snuggle duckling. However it seemed that the guards had gotten their before him. When hope seemed to be lost on finding Ryder Max smelled out the sent and pointed out the hidden door, he was way more smarter then the other guards. Yet he didn't show off, the group chased the two though the underground caves until the came in to a dam. After the guards were defeated and unable to capture Maximus he went after him himself, taking a sword the two fought, Max however won over the fight and was about to capture Flynn but Rapunzel stopped him, He then went after Rapunzel but she got away. The horse ended up breaking the dam causing the water to cave in and wash them all away. After being washed up she started chasing down the two. Finding them asleep The horse started dragging the man, but Rapunzel again intervened, she then got him to relx and she made him listen to her. That was when he found that He really enjoyed the girl, she understood him and when she asked him to make a deal because it was her birthday, he hesitated but agreed to not take in Flynn until it was time but that didn't mean he wouldn't keep a eye on the man.[break]
[break] It was then during this time the two started to bond. Hitting each other, pushing each other, and having a fun time. Max could see that Flynn was starting to fall for the girl so he started to do the eyebrow wiggles. Max watched as Rapunzel got the whole town to dance, he then got Eugene to go dancing as well. The day was going by so well. Maximus really enjoyed himself, watching over his new found friend and the man he was after. When time came for the floating lanterns Eugene gave him some apples, and that made Max happy, perhaps this guy wasn't as bad as he seemed. He watched the lights come up and waited, time seamed to move by slowly but he didn't mind, as long as Rapunzel was happy, he didn't know why but he knew he had to protect her, and that is what he wanted to do. He would protect Rapunzel and perhaps he could forgive Eugene and protect him too, but what happen next confirmed that he needed to protect both of them, something just wasn't quite right when Eugene came back with out Rapunzel, and was screaming for her. The horse ran to the place he knew he could get help. The guys at the Tavern. The group had rescued Flynn from the guards. [break]
[break] When Eugene landed on him everything was going well. The two leaped from the castle and landed on the house across, dashing though the village and into the woods they went to rescue Rapunzel. Max watched Eugene Climb the tower, he was unaware what was going in the tower. When they came down they returned to the castle. Eveyrhting was going great, the whole town was happy and Max was put into be the Captian of the Guards, the criminals didn't stand a chance, and well so the apples were gone too. Max couldn't have been happier. Well He could use a lady horse but that was another story.[break]

Max is the same in both worlds, the man is fearless he would do anything that would just about scare anyone else. Being the leader of the Neighborhood watch and the guard of the castle back home he has learned much lawful and intimidating qualities. He is also very stubborn giving that he will not give up on anything. Max is also very persistent and strict. He likes to follow the rules to a tea unless it comes to something he believes it is for the best of things. This shows that he is also disobedient that he would break the rules if he needed too.
