It was a beautiful day, and Alice wanted to take advantage of it. She left her house early in the afternoon, and with her, she took a blanket, and a basket full of goodies. She had no one to go with, but she thought a picnic would be nice. And the perfect place? The singing flower patch. Once she was there, she laid her blanket down in an empty part of the soft grass, and she laid down, crossing her bare feet together at the ankles. Her basket was resting beside her, and luckily, there were no perishables in it. The soft song of the flowers started to lull Alice in to a not so deep slumber. Currently, she was in a state somewhere between awake, and asleep...but either way, she felt entirely peaceful. JAMES PATRICK SULLIVAN

| J ames wasn't exactly in the best mood. It was quite a terrible fate to be one of many people who actually were able to remember his memories. It seemed, from what James could gather, that some sort of curse or something had taken over a bunch of different people and sent them to this world - to Wonderland, or that's what everyone else seemed to call it. Sulley had never heard of Wonderland before he came there, but it was a strange place, and even stranger that absolutely no one knew anything about it or themselves. He tried to find Mike and his other friends from his world, but he hadn't had any luck thus far. Even if he'd found him, Sulley was going to have to really dig deep to recognize him - after all, he would look completely different in this world, as James, himself, did. He couldn't dwell much on the day to day things, of course. Running around like wild trying to convince everyone that they were someone they couldn't remember wasn't going to work - heck, some people had become so used to Wonderland that Sulley doubted they would even do anything if they admitted to who they were. But Sulley wanted to go back to his world, to continue being the CEO of Monster's INC and bringing light to his world. He wanted it desperately. As James walked towards the singing flower patch, he tried to think of ways that pulling people away from this world and into their own would be possible. It seemed like it was impossible, though. James sighed. He looked up as the sounds of the flowers' singing grew louder and found himself getting not only closer to them, but to a girl who was sitting among a scene that looked much like a picnic. It didn't help that she was pretty, either. He tilted his head and bit his lip, contemplating on whether or not to approach her and then, almost like he was his old self, he pushed forward. "Hey there," he said, grinning and looking down at her. Sulley didn't say anything more - he'd allow her to take in his presence first, decide if she even wanted to take part in conversation, and then continue with their conversation if it was to continue. And, while all that went through his mind, he continued to grin, because that was who he was. |
