I am,
For who?
My heart,
In Two.
Breathing,
Feeling,
Breaking,
Flying.
I am,
For who?
My heart,
In Two.
Flying,
Breaking,
Feeling,
Breathing.
In times of wonder,
In times of greed,
In times of endless harmony.
We take a breath,
We take a stand,
We let go hand and hand.
We need our hearts,
We need our heads,
We need each other or we'd be dead.
I feel...
you are beneath my skin.
creeping and crawling.
feeling and teasing.
but have you ever wondered how I feel?
breath.
feel.
creep.
tease.
I feel it all.
A time to wonder,
A time to think.
A time to ponder,
A time to blink.
I do not know where I should go,
Through this little town of old.
My ruby slippers take me there,
Gold clips grow in my hair.
My feet walk along the golden path,
To a place I shall not pass.
My friendships grown in a mass,
Until I'm protected for eternity.
“I am as happy as a hatter,
Cause that is what I am.
A tiny little man,
Trapped in a huge old land.
‘Down with Red!’ I would yell,
And everyone would cheer.
If a war is what is coming,
We’ll be ready for the end.
I sit here at my table,
Drinking tea with friends.
Songs are sung in happiness,
Before it is the end.
Who knew that life would be so bland?
With the Red Queen’s rein.
My critter friends all trapped,
Because of her greedy hands.
So lonely I shall feel,
Without Mally, Hare and Chess.
I hope the Queen’s rule will stop,
And White will rule again.”
Hatter sits upon his table,
Looking at a frozen watch.
Waiting for his old friend Alice,
To come and play her part.
Who knew Death was so grand?
For every boy and every man
A pause in time to stand and think
A moment over within a few blinks
To mourn a loss of something so old
To have memories soon be foretold
The end of something so very bland
Who knew Death was so grand?
A stake through the heart
An arrow through the chest
The bomb thrown in the air
Somehow summoned Death
The beat of the heart
The pant of the breath
Time seems to suddenly stop
Who knew Death was so grand?
A shot through the head
An iron fist through the rib
The plane fall from the shy
Somehow summoned Death
The pull of the plugs
The slowing of the heart
Time seems to suddenly stop
Who knew Death was so grand?
Light shines upon thy face,
Daisies show your grace.
Heaven is not that far away,
Though we are stuck in this day.
Forever is not long enough,
To stay away.
Though death could separate us,
We will find each other, we must.
At times I wonder,
Just what would have happened?
A life to live and to hold,
A time to share with someone so old.
An angel of beauty,
Gone before thy time.
Sometimes I wonder,
Just what would have happened?

I am,
For who?
My heart,
In Two.
Breathing,
Feeling,
Breaking,
Flying.

For who?
My heart,
In Two.
Flying,
Breaking,
