Stitch, also known as experiment 626, was creating in a science lab on a planet foreign to Earth. His creator was named Jumba, and was a bit of an 'evil genius' as he would say. Stitch was his final creation brought to life, and he was created solely for the purpose of mass destruction. When the Alien government found out about this, the jailed Jumba and banished Stitch to a dessert asteroid. However, the little blue creature was designed with incredibly strength and a brilliant mind, helping him to escape and hijack a space ship. Due his reckless and impulsive nature, Stitch fired the engines into hyperspace and landed on Earth, in one of the Hawaiian islands.[break][break]
Jumba, and a scientist called Pleakley, were sent to Earth in order to capture Stitch and bring him back to be destroyed. Stitch, however, had been taken to the dog pound after being hit by a car whilst exploring Hawaii, and used this to his advantage. He scared the other animals away, pretended to be a dog, which caused a little girl called Lilo to adopt him. This protected him from Jumba and Pleakley, for they wouldn't harm any humans-it was against galactic regulation.[break][break]
Stitch learned a lot of important lessons during those first few days with Lilo and her sister, Nani. He learned that he was able to pick up new things incredibly quick, but he often got carried away and his destructive nature would take over. He also learned that he started to really care what Lilo was thinking and feeling, hoping to please her when he could. He found that the Island they lived on had no big cities for him to wreak havoc on, which went against his programming. He was listless, purposeless and lonely. He came to realize that he wanted to find his family... he just wanted to find somewhere he belonged.[break][break]
He left Lilo and Nani, in search for a family and a purpose. All the while, Nani was trying to get custody over her sister Lilo, for their parents had died. However, Stitch's destructive nature caused Nani to fail in the eyes of the social worker. While gone, he was almost captured by Jumba but things got out of hand when he ran back to find Lilo and their house was utterly destroyed. The Social Worker came for Lilo, but she ran. When she found Stitch she was angry, he had destroyed her home and her family! They didn't have much time to argue, however, for another alien, Captain Gantu, came to capture him but ended up taking Lilo instead.[break][break]
Nani came after Lilo only to find her getting taken by Gantu. At that point, Nani and the aliens worked together to get Lilo back. Stitch, who as considered a criminal by the Galactic counsel, was supposed to be taken back and imprisoned. But, when the council chancellor came to fetch him, she saw how much he loved Nani and Lilo. He called them his family, and his destructive nature was generally under control. He had changed in that time with them, proving that he could really belong somewhere without destroying things. The Galactic Chancellor then banished him to Earth instead of prison, so he could stay with Lilo and Nani.

Although he had changed a lot in those few days with the girls, Stitch has always been prone to destructive behavior. Even now, in Wonderland, he finds himself wanting to break things, smash things and tear things apart. His hands start to twitch when he withholds from destruction for too long. He is a comedical heartbreaker as well, often using the 'puppy eyes' technique against those whom he wants something from. This is never meant to use anyone in a bad way, but really just to get candy, ice cream or something innocent of the like. Here in Wonderland, he has forgotten his family which has caused him to revert back to a destructive nature, but not evilly so. He doesn't remember the importance of family.
