It was the early hours of the morning, as Bolt walked through the expansive woods surrounding Wonderland. It was a couple hours ago that the WPA got a complaint that there was a wolf making a lot noise, and was disrupting their sleep. The caller then ordered for them to kill the wolf to get some sleep, but Bolt liked to think the caller was just a bit tired, and didn't like being disrupted from their sleep. So Bolt got called in to find the wolf, and take care of it. Some officers tried talking to him about how to kill it, but he quickly told them that wasn't the plan. The wolf just needed some help, it didn't need to be killed. Afterwards, Bolt headed to the infirmary to get a medical kit for animals, before jogging into the woods. Bolt would be lying if he said he wasn't excited. This was one of his first missions, and if he did well it would guarantee his spot in the WPA, and that's all he could ask for. Bolt shot out of his thoughts as a loud howl rang through the woods, coming from the North. Tightening the strings of his bag, he ran towards the sound of the howl at a fast speed. Within minutes, Bolt found the source of the pained howl coming from a wolf ensnared in a trap. It's claws were tangled, and he could see some blood leaking from it's legs, but the rest of the trap remained hidden in the bushes. Pulling off his bag, Bolt pulled out a small dagger, and carefully walked towards the wolf. But it obviously wasn't friendly. The wolf snarled, attempting to reach forward and bite Bolt, but the trap stopped it otherwise. Bolt wasn't offended, the animal was in pain, and seeing a human who was very similar to the ones who had done it probably wasn't a good thing to the wolf. So instead of reaching for the wolf. Bolt walked around to the bush, and carefully began disabling the trap. It was a tricky one, and it'd take some time, but he could do it. As long as the wolf was safe after all. LUPIN WOODSLY

The early morning hours were busy ones for Lupin, it was when Hunters normally came in to check their traps while the whole village sleep. Only to lay down more and more. Lupin lost track of how many traps he destroyed and how many held a wolf in it's jaws but he was still doing that. Unaware that someone was complaining about a wolf that was stuck in a trap, Lupin had made his way toward it. HOwever he noticed someone else approaching and quickly he took to hiding in the tree that had it's branches above the wolf. It was a young man...great, probably the one that set the trap or was sent to check on it. When the knife was taken out of their bag, Lupin wasn't pleased to see that and despite the wolf lunging for the boy they weren't able to reach em. They then went to the bush where the main part of the trap was, a glance to the wolf told him it wasn't just going to lie there with a human so close. The ears of the creature lowered as it kept snarling before it seemed as if it was readying to do something. That was enough. Lupin moved in the branches that caused a rustle though only to drop down from it a moment after the sound, landing closer to the wolf but inbetween the two. THe wolf hand lunged again and this time it's fangs sunk into Lupin's ankle. "Enough!" Lupin growled at it. He knew that wolves had a order, a way they did things. Showing dominance was key, you couldn't be skittish or nervous that would set em off more. IF you were calm and stood your ground, you wouldn't set em off. For now the boy would be left alone, the wolf didn't need to be killed by this idiot. JOHNNY KYLE BOLT

Biting his tongue in concentration, Bolt reached forward, snapping one part of the trap off, causing the grip on the wolf to become somewhat loser, but not completely lose. Cracking his knuckles, Bolt went onto his knees to get closer to the contraption. Just as he positioned his dagger, a voice called out. Enough!. Bolt's gaze flew up, spotting a man standing a few feet away from him. Bolt had the dagger up in surrender. "I'm here for the WPA, this is not hunting ground, sir. This land belongs to the wilderness of it. If you are here on the terms to harm or kill any wildlife, you will be charged." Bolt chanted, the memorized lines from his training coming into play. Bolt's eyes flickered to the wolf and the man, as he stood up, dropping his defensive stance. "I'm ordered to release this wolf. And take care of it." The blonde boy said slowly, frown growing as he saw more blood leak from the wolf's leg. It was a flesh wound, nothing to major, but Bolt didn't want it to get infected. Bolt knew technically he had the upper hand here, having the WPA's jurisdiction, but if he could talk to the hunter, he assumed, and try to direct him to the chosen hunting grounds, then he would. Lupin turned his gaze over his shoulder at the boy. Stupid brat he really wished that they knew when to speak an when not to. "I wasn't talking to you pup." Lupin replied sternfully with narrowed eyes. "You want her fangs in ya? I suggest you shut it till she's gone off home and not summoning her pack if she has one." THe what now? Probably just some hunter's organization or something like that, using a ruse so they could get the wolf. The wolf growled as it increased it's grip on his ankle, causing Lupin to glance back down at it. Keeping the stern look from his glare he gave the boy. Lupin bent down slightly and reached out with his hand, grabbing the wolf by the scruff of it's neck in the back. This caused the wolf to snarl greatly as it released his ankle and went to bite something else. However Lupin pushed down hard on the wolf by the scruff of it's neck and quickly put his hand near the muzzle to put it down on the ground. "No more!!" Lupin ordered it, stern and serious with a snarl like tone to it. It took the wolf a few moments of struggle growling however as it looked back up to the strange man, it soon gave a weak whimper as it's ears lowered in submission and it turned it's gaze away. It's tail curled under it the best it could in this position. "Good girl." Lupin replied as he released the wolf, it just laying there as he rose and looked back to the boy. "GIve me the knife for the trap, at your speed we'll be here to nightfall. But don't go anywhere, I have some questions for you." Unlike with the wolf a moment ago, his voice was back to being stern and serious as he spoke to Johnny. JOHNNY KYLE BOLT

Bolt's cheeks grew red as he realized the guy wasn't talking to him, but the wolf. Stepping to the side, Bolt watched sympathetically as the man dominated the wolf a bit harshly, but Bolt understand that was the way it worked with wolves. Looking back to the man, Bolt passed the dagger with a small dagger before moving past the man to his bag against the tree to pull out of the medical kit. Technically Bolt never chose a branch of work for the WPA. Since he was a trainee, he still had some more training to do but eventually he had to chose what branch he wanted to go into. He was thinking about medical, but he was also thinking about working on the front lines. Maybe as a detective. He couldn't decide, but medical was definitely one of his choices. Opening the kit, Bolt pulled out the gauze, and some alcohol to clean to the cut. He knew it wouldn't be easy, but it needed to be done. Gathering the items in his arms, Bolt cautiously looked at the wolf, and the man. Pushing back the slight fear, Bolt put on a brave front and scooted a bit closer to the wolf, holding the bottle in one hand and gauze in the other. "This won't be easy.." LUPIN WOODSLY

Taking the dagger, Lupin went over to the trap and bent down; a slight limp in his step due to the new wound. Immediately set to work on the trap, quickly he was dismantling the accursed thing. It had a similar design to a few others he'd dismantled so he was starting to find the common weak elements in em. Though he soon noticed that the boy was going near the wolf due to it's growling picking up and with only one thing left connecting to the trap to the wolf,he quickly spun round. "NO!" Lupin yelled to the boy. The wolf fussed about a few more moments, breaking free of what was left. Lupin stood up quickly and went to try and shove Johny out of the way. If he managed this, the wolf's lung would end up hitting him, grabbing onto his arm. If he wasn't able to move Johnny in time...well, who knows where it would get the boy. JOHNNY KYLE BOLT

Bolt was in the process of uncapping the bottle, when suddenly the man had officially disabled the trap, and the wolf was free. Bolt flew back at the man's order, causing him to fall back into another bush, and for the man to be bitten. Bolt's eyes widened, as the man got injured, and didn't seem to be bothered by it. Pushing himself up, Bolt wagged his head, hoping no sticks or leaves were stuck in his hair, before turning to the man. "God, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to-" The wolf by now had run off, and the man and Bolt were the only two left. Bolt knew he should really just write down what happened, and go, but he didn't want to leave the man injured. Bolt grabbed the medical pack, before holding his hand out to the man. "I'm really sorry that happen, but I need to see your arm. I can fix it. I need to, since it was my fault." He said, eyebrows furrowed, eyes plagued with guilt. LUPIN WOODSLY

The wolf's fangs clamped down on his arm and he gave a small wince to it. The wolf noticed that it had the wrong person, immediately it let go and it ran off. Watching the wolf run off, he grabbed hold of the bleeding wound and gave a sigh. So much for avoiding another injury oh well. His attention was soon snapped back to the boy, he gave a stern look. "NEVER approach a down wolf, even a wolf without a body can still bite back!!" Lupin snapped. "I'll be fine, it's not the first time I've freed wolves from traps you people put up and it most certainly won't be the last." JOHNNY KYLE BOLT

Dropping his hand, Bolt nodded, turning back to the stuff the medical supplies back in the kit, and pushing himself off the ground and onto his feet. "I'll be fine, it's not the first time I've freed wolves from traps you people put up and it most certainly won't be the last.". Bolt turned to the man, with a look of confusion. "I didn't put any traps up, I don't even hunt. It's against the codes in the WPA." Bolt explained, before digging in his back pocket, and pulling out his WPA Badge and holding it up for the man to see. "Wonderland Protection Agency Trainee here. You can call me Bolt." The blonde boy said, with a cheerful smile, before putting away his bag and pulling his bag back on, and taking out his small notepad to write down the report. "Could I get your name, sir?" Bolt knew he might get into some trouble since the man got hurt, and touched a trap that could of seriously hurt him, but Bolt wanted the mysterious man to get the honor he deserved. LUPIN WOODSLY

Lupin gave a raised eyebrow to the boy's words on the WPA and the fact they wouldn't do that. Course he never heard of it at all so that was another reason for his raised brow. "Never heard of it." Lupin replied. "My name doesn't matter." He'd given his name to Dash due to the fact the lad wasn't a threat but this one....no. He wouldn't tell. This WPA didn't seem like a thing at least to him, for a man who hadn't been inside of the village in a long while there were many things he wasn't aware of. So he wasn't going to give his name out to where people would use it against him or his sisters. He took to the woods oddly enough and that would confusing a few people, maybe scare em.
