It was an early evening as the Parr Residence began to settle down for the night. Somewhere downstairs, Helen was making the last of dinner, whilst on the phone with her employers, Dash was stepping out of the shower, and Jack Jack was doing what..Jack Jack does? Whatever fourteen year olds do these days. But one Parr was missing, Violet. Stepping out of the shower, with a towel around his waist, Dash wagged his head, water droplets flying out of his hair, leaving it an array of spikes and curls. While drying, Dash peaked outside his door, his eyes narrowing as he spotted Violet's open room door. And an empty room.
"Dinner's ready!" Helen shouted from downstairs.
Huffing to himself, Dash went back to his room, and get dressed in his house clothes, before heading downstairs. As he grabbed a plate, and grabbed his food, he still looked around for Violet, and found nothing. She obviously wasn't home. She hadn't been home all day. Dash frowned, glaring at the door as his mind automatically went to the day in the woods. He knew he should listen to Lupin, but the more time passed, the more he got worried. Grabbing his drink, Dash jogged back up the stairs with his food, and headed right for his brothers door.
Using his side to open the door, Dash was awarded with the site of Jack laying on his bed with a book. Back when Dash was fourteen, he was wild. Not reading books. But it's whatever, Jack Jack was his own person. Walking to the empty couch a few feet away, Dash sat the drink on the counter before flopping onto the couch, and kicking his feet up onto the opposite end of the couch, and began eating his food.
"I think Vi's hanging out with some guy.." Dash murmured, whilst chewing his food, his gaze turning towards his little brother.

And all of the feelings unspoken, all of the truths unsaid, they're all I have left of the life I never led.
Jamie laid upon his bed with a book in his grasp. Beside the boy, rested his cat Mozart. The small kitten was closely curled up against his owner, taking a cat nap. Though this wasn’t the most adventurous of activities one could choose to partake in, Jamie found himself in a complete state of contentment. It was rare a moment of genuine peace was found within the Parr household, so Jamie clung to them as long as he could. Of course, nothing good ever lasts. His eldest sister, Ellen called out to the family to inform them that dinner had been prepared. Now, Jamie wasn't typically one to disobey orders or act out against a family member, but he thought that maybe, just maybe if he pretended to not have heard her, that he’d be able to enjoy a finish this chapter and head down for dinner. But, it seems the universe was persistent on the young boy getting interrupted, for shortly afterwards Dash entered his room. Dashiell was Jamie’s rambunctious older brother and of all Jamie’s family members the one whom Jamie was the most different from. Surprisingly, Dash and Jamie didn’t fight that often. Perhaps, it was Jamie’s switzerland attitude towards family matters or maybe Dash had a soft spot for his baby brother. Regardless of the cause, Dash enjoyed his company well enough to seek him out whenever something he found troubling presented itself. Like presently. Violet had seemed to become a bit more distant as of late, but Jamie hadn’t taken all the much notice. After all, she was in the age where teenager began to grow to resent their family. Even though Jamie hadn’t experienced that himself yet, he’d read enough parenting books (after all without an official parent in the household they’d all need to step up) in order to have spotted her “growing changes”. A guy? "How did you arrive at that conclusion?" Jamie asked softly as he placed his book down on his chest for a moment and looked up at the older boy in front of him. Jamie knew that Violet had been interested in a few boys before, but she’d never been the type to sneak around with a boy behind the family’s back. This certainly peaked Jamie’s interest, but when it came down to it, he knew that it wasn’t any of his business and would try his best to stay out of it. So long as Violet would be safe, he didn’t mind who she was with. DASHIELL "DASH" PARR

a falling star fell from your heart. Dash scoffed, a frown growing on his face as he distractedly played with his food. Hopefully Helen would never find out. "She's gone like all the time. I mean- all the time." Dash argued, taking a cautious bite of the sweet potato glop Helen was trying out, a slightly impressed look crossing his features before he continued to eat. "And don't me you didn't notice it, Jack Jack. It's just weird. Like the other day-" Dash suddenly stopped talking, not wanting to reveal who had met whilst following Violet. He imagined that would lead the conversation elsewhere and that wasn't his goal. "Look either way, Vi is with someone, and I'm getting a bad feeling right in the gut. Why else would she be sneaking around? Why haven't we met him yet?" The young boy countered, speaking through his food, stopping to wipe the corner of his mouth and take a sip of his water. Dash had almost decided to back off all together since his conversation with Lupin, but the less he saw Vi, the more he grew anxious. The Parr's had a specific set of rules so that there was no secrets, and everything would run smoothly. One of those rules were 'If you're seeing someone, introduce them to the family.' It might sound stupid, but there was a reason the rule existed. And Vi sneaking around was a perfect example as to why we should all follow the rule. Dash didn't like rules, but he liked Helen, and listened to his older sister. He thought Vi did too. Guess he was wrong. "Back me up here, Jack." 289 WORDS FOR @jackjack ― notes go in here.
