Rain came down steadily, not fast enough to be considered a downpour but fast enough to where it was a drizzle or a light sprinkle. You could feel the drops of water against your skin when they landed. Lupin had been in a tree though he came down as he noticed the sky darken and a rumble of thunder could be heard. The rain was a nice relief as it came down, a sigh left him as he closed his eyes and had his head tilted up so the rain was hitting his face as it fell. His black coat could use replacing, there were many tears and holes in it and considering what he did all the time to cause that, was why he hadn't gotten a new one. It was a bit of a surprise to him that it managed to be in in good enough shape to still be wearable. Opening his head as he moved his head back to it's normal position, he put his hands into his pockets and started to merely walk. Some would wonder how things back home were going but those were villagers that thought that, Lupin wasn't. He was home in a sense, sure he had a small cabin in the woods that he kept hidden from people but the woods just...felt right. That village didn't fully feel right, sure something felt right there but a majority of it didn't so he left it all behind. Once in a while he'd return, for supplies and then he'd retreat to his true home so far. The day hours were long and there were still many of them left, it was just hard to see due to the dark grey clouds hiding the sun behind them. The rain fell at a steady pace and the thunder gave a low rumble once more, Lupin didn't care about getting soaked. Though he had little idea that he'd get company during this weather. Though the day had started out cloudy, it didn’t deter Merida from her usual outdoor escapade. She had wanted to spend a little time with Lilo, maybe help her cheer up a bit, but the other girl had been nowhere in the house when Merida looked. Ah, well, they could hang out in the evening. Surely Lilo had found someone to spend her time with! She had mentioned a woman she was getting to know better. That truly made Merida happy for her new friend. For now, she was headed in a bit of a different direction than she normally went. Usually Merida opted for the openness of the fields. It helped her think and lose herself in her mind (or just practice archery). Today, she decided to venture into the woods to see what they held within. The closer she got, the more oddly welcoming they seemed. It was almost like she was being drawn in. Wide-eyed and curious, she walked on. Well, they were welcoming. The further into the trees she got, the more uneasy she became. It might have just been because she had never been here, the sky was dark as it was, and the area seemed a little foreboding and not so friendly to lone travelers. She was second-guessing her decision to come through here. She removed her bow from her back, thankful she thought to bring it with her, and held it, ready to nock an arrow if she needed one. She wasn’t sure what might be in the forest, and she didn’t want to be unprepared if something caught her by surprise. Rain managed to trickle down through the leaves. The sky growled faintly above. Though the fall of water was hardly torrential, it was enough to get her clothes and hair damp, even through the hood from her jacket covering her head. Maybe it was time to head home and change into something warm and dry… However, when Merida turned around, there was a figure walking toward her. Out of reflex more than anything else, she drew an arrow and readied it… just in case. She didn’t dare blink as the figure came closer; her entire being was still, like a statue, waiting to see what was going to happen. LUPIN WOODSLY(( it was just fine! )) words378

Lupin paused as his gaze landed upon a figure, they were standing rather still however that wasn't the problem. The bow and the arrow were. His eyebrows narrowed as his mind quickly jumped to the conclusion of a hunter and since they were at a distance to each other, he couldn't make out that it was a girl he was staring at. "IF you're after the wolves then I caution you to turn back and leave them be. You wanna keep hunting them then you're in for a big pain." Lupin told them his voice was stern and there was a growl like tone to it. No rest it seemed, if he was stuck having to deal with this hunter then he might just end up having to get a new coat at this rate. His sisters might force him to get a new one soon though if they saw what this one looked like. As he waited for a answer, he kept a serious glare directed at her however he wasn't going to just stand there for long. He took a step forward, as if daring her to say or do something.
