the weakest but the brightest. Sometimes after school as a way for her to avoid going back to the orphanage, Caddie found herself walking through the little village. She found herself liking the idea of looking through the windows at each thing that she passed. Watching the normal people walking along the beaten path with their families and friends. Sometimes seeing the happy couples, the excited children, it made her envious. Oh how she wished for a family. But she had the other orphans and she had Perry. Perry was like a mother to her, and then she had Pepper, sure they weren’t related by blood, but they were sisters in her eyes. She was rather protective of Pepper, and Pepper was protective of her. And whenever she slipped by saying Pepper’s true name, Patricia, she let it slide. Others? They got a mouth full. They always joked that one day Pepper would have enough of Caddie calling her Patricia, and Caddie herself will get a mouth full.
She smiled at the thought her eyes traveling around that was until she noticed a painting. It was beautiful, a woman was standing next to it and without hesitation she walked towards it, wanting a better look. “Excuse me?” she asked when she got close enough. Her finger pointed at the painting for a second, before remembering that pointing was rude, and her finger slowly lowered “Did you do this?” she questioned, eyes filled with awe and wonder, her tone laced with fascination.

@cadpig Notes-
Anita loved spending her time outside. She loved taking walks in the park and just sitting there and reading. This time though, she decided that she wanted to take some of her painting supplies to the park with her and maybe paint some scenery. She grabbed a smaller size canvas and her case of paint with her paintbrushes inside and she walked out the door.
Anita walked to the park which wasn’t a long walk at all. She took a look around for a nice place to sit. It was crowded, something the young woman wasn’t really expecting at all. She found a nice spot though and just sat down in the grass. She laid the canvas down in front of her and she then pulled out some of the paint and started mixing some so that she could have the colors that she wanted. Anita then started painting the canvas, painting the scene in front of her. she smiled as she seemed to be pleased with what she was painting.
There was then a young voice behind her and she smiled. She turned to see a young girl and the girl asked if she had painted this. Anita smiled and nodded. “yes I did.” Anita smiled to her. “you like it?” she then asked her curiously. Anita then patted the ground next to her inviting the girl to sit beside her if she so chose to. “do you paint or draw anything?” she asked the girl curiously, starting a conversation with her.

the weakest but the brightest. Caddie had never been artistic, didn’t have an artistic bone in her body to be exact. Or at least that was what she believed anyways. Though when it came to play the piano, she was fairly good. But when it came to drawing or painting, she most likely would mess up and grow rather impatient with her failure. Caddie didn’t like to fail, she wasn’t really the failing type, nor did she ever get in trouble. That was until she had met Dash. Dash had gotten her in trouble for the first time; she had failed her mother figure and her headmaster. But it felt nice, in a weird way. It was a rush. Sure she had grown angry at Dash, but it was weird. As if once before she had been the intelligent yet troublesome type. But how was that? She couldn’t remember past five months, maybe the memories she had lost held the answer. But it was impossible to retrieve them. And did she want to?
‘Yes I did. You like it? Do you paint or draw anything?’
Caddie smiled “I love it.” she breathed before shaking her head “No, I am not really the artistic type.” she stated. But in truth she had never tried before, but she wasn’t about to tell this woman that.
