Once upon a time, the world lived in constant danger. Evil-doers and criminals alike both stood an ever present threat to society. Of course, these imminent threats did not go unattended to. An elite group of ‘genetically unique’ men and women rose up to the occasion. Generally, they chose to work alone, but some paired up or even formed leagues. Regardless of how they stood regarding teamwork though, they all had a common goal. To save the world.[break][break]
Supers. That’s what they called them. Human beings with unique and fantastic abilities given to them by heredity, a genetic mutation, or the occasional accident involving toxic waste. Whatever the cause, they all possessed a unique ability unlike any other and of course with great powers comes great responsibility. [break][break]
Now, some supers were far more competent than others. The story of Jack Jack actually begins with two quite well known heroes: Mr. Incredible and Elastigirl. Two young supers who had fallen in love, despite the difficulties of maintaining a superhero persona. Shortly after the marriage of the two, government issues arose and supers were ultimately outlawed.[break][break]
Flash forward a couple years and Mr. Incredible and Elastigirl (now Bob and Helen Parr respectively) have started a family. Jack Jack Parr was their third and final child. Throughout the early stages of his life and infancy, Jack Jack was assumed to be the first normal human of his family lineage (seeing as to how his two older siblings both possessed powers of their own).[break][break]
So, when a family emergency arose and Helen needed to track down her husband she had very little to worry about when calling in a babysitter to watch over young Jack Jack (or so she thought). Little to her knowledge though, her two eldest children snuck away to help her save their father and because of this Jack Jack was left alone under the babysitter’s protection.[break][break]
Not too long after Jack Jack was left under the baby sitters care, strange things began to occur. His powers were beginning to show themselves, much to the babysitter’s dismay. Unlike the rest of his family (who all possessed a sole power), Jack Jack demonstrated a vast array of strange and powerful abilities.[break][break]
A day or so after the events with the babysitter occurred, Syndrome arrived to kidnap Jack Jack in order to raise him as his own personal sidekick. The babysitter (who mistakenly assumed him to be backup sitter) happily turned him over. Though, Jack Jack wasn’t as happy to be handed over. [break][break]
During the final moments before Syndrome was about to flee, Jack Jack utilized his powers to attack the villain and escape from his grasp. His mother luckily managed to save him from hitting the ground and Syndrome was finally defeated. Or so they thought.[break][break]
Just as everything was beginning to settle down for the Parr family and everything seemingly returned to normal, the curse struck. [break][break]
Now the family resides in Wonderland. Jack Jack has become Jamie and rather than remaining an infant he has become significantly older. He still lives with his family though, Dash and Violet are both a bit older and his mom is now his sister, but at least they’re together. Well, except for his father, but it’s not like he remembers who he is anyways.[break][break]
Jamie is a rather pleasant individual to be around. He’s got a good head on his shoulders and is usually one of the friends that people go to when seeking advice on something. He’s an overall sweetheart with a kind personality, who does genuinely care for those who are close to him. He can be a bit wary when it comes to taking dangerous risks or meeting new people and sometimes would prefer to stick to the company of books or animals (he has a pet kitten named Mozart), but ultimately his level headedness guides him through situations where he would be a bit nervous.[break][break]
Altruistic and soft spoken by nature, Jamie is often the peacemaker when family situations get too hectic. Usually, Jamie is able to come up with a fair enough compromise that pleases all involved individuals. He cares about his siblings and doesn’t fight with them nearly as much as they do with one another, but for some reason that he isn’t aware of he feels a strong connection to his eldest sister Ellen. Her maternal nature meshes rather well with his gentle personality. [break][break]
One thing unique about Jamie unlike most people in Wonderland is that he doesn’t possess the slightest desire to know about who he was in his past life. Seeing as to how he was still an infant, Jack Jack hadn’t really retained all that much during his time before the curse. So now as an older individual, Jamie doesn’t have a feeling of emptiness or loss of identity.
