You grew up in a lovely British home consisting of just you and your father. Your mother, Amelia passed away while giving birth to you, leaving your father to care for you as a single parent. He had been sad, and angry that his wife was taken from him, but never did he blame you. He loved you with all of his heart; unconditionally, and he would do whatever it took to keep you safe and give you the life you deserved. You grew up going to the best schools, and soaking up all the knowledge that you could, like a sponge. You loved to learn, and spent most of your time as a girl reading and studying; learning. However, you also had a talent that took up much of your time and that was art. You enjoyed to draw and recreate things on a page of paper for memories. Still, these few things were not what you dreamed about. Research. You wanted to one day travel and research things just like your father did. [break][break]
As you grew older, your dream never faded. You did everything in your power to prepare yourself for a trip that would prove to your father you were good enough. But you wouldn't have to prove yourself. You father knew how intelligent you were and wanted you to have the career you longed for. He had always wanted what was best for you, and what made you happy. You indulged yourself in a few minor research projects in your younger years, but the real one to change your life happened in your early twenties.[break][break]
You, your father, and a man named Clayton who was hired to protect the two of you, journeyed to the jungles of Africa in search of gorilla nests. As you all made your way through the trees, you stepped in a gorilla nest, leading you and the other two to find that gorilla's lived in families. A change of events happened when a baboon stole your drawing pad that consisted of a picture you had just drawn of it, you running after it in hopes of getting it back. When you were able to retrieve it, the baboon started to cry, alerting it's family which attacked. Luckily for you, Tarzan had been following the whole time, and jumped in to save you. Who is Tarzan, you ask? He was a human, raised by the gorillas when a female gorilla found him alone.[break][break]
You could tell the ape man was fascinated with you, but it made you nervous, and kind of creeped out if we're being honest. You returned with him to camp to find his friends messing around with things. But it wasn't long before the leader, Kerchak and Tarzan's mother Kala found them and told them to leave. Your father and Clayton soon returned after, still trying to find you. Immediately you rushed to tell them what had happened. You would never forget the look on Clayton's face, like you were crazy! Surely, you were not. If your look hadn't proved your story, the return of Tarzan did.[break][break]
Days went by and you continued to see Tarzan. However, you never got to visit his home. He wasn't sure about it, seeing as it was not safe for either party. Still, a lot of time was spent with him, as you and your father taught him about human culture and how to speak English. You were starting to have feelings for the strange man, but you knew you would have to leave eventually. His feelings for you were showing too when she tried to get you to stay. But you couldn't. How could you when your father was leaving? When your whole life was back in England? Unknowing to you, Clayton tricks Tarzan into agreeing to show you all to the gorillas by saying it would get you to stay. The sight was amazing, the wonders of the many animals surrounding you when you first laid eyes on them all. They were such beautiful creatures. It was then that Tarzan asked you to stay, but before you could answer, Kerchak arrived.[break][break]
A fight broke out, but Tarzan held back Kerchak so that the three of you could escape. The next day, Tarzan showed up in a suit prepared to leave for London with you. You were overjoyed, before you found out it was a trap. Clayton had a plan the whole time. He locked all of you up and went back to capture the gorillas to bring back as well. Tarzan's friends, Terk and Tantor soon show up and break the three of you out. Tarzan decides to take the vines back, while you and your father ride Tantor back to the nests. You do your best to help release the gorillas and while you and Tarzan release Kala, he gets shot in the arm by Clayton. You were terrified, worried that Tarzan was too hurt. You were angry, and ready to go after Clayton yourself, but Kerchak steps in the way of another bullet meant for Tarzan. When Clayton goes after Tarzan again, you try to stop him, but soon, everything went black. You came to in time to see the end of the fight between Clayton and Tarzan; the horrible image of Clayton's dangling body sure to remain in your mind for a long time. You and your father stayed for support as Kerchak slowly slipped into an eternal sleep.[break][break]
It was time to leave again. You knew Tarzan had to stay. He was the leader now, and was responsible for the other gorillas. It still hurt though, to know you would never see him again after falling for him. You gathered yourself and entered the rowboat with your father to return to the ship one last time. However, on the way you realized that was not the life you wanted anymore. You had always dreamed of being a researcher and traveling all over the world. But that was not your dream any longer. Tarzan was. You quickly scrambled to your feet and jumped from the boat, quickly making your way back to shore. As soon as you arrived, your arms wrapped around his shoulders and your lips met his. Your father ended up staying as well, which only brought you more joy. Everything would be happy, and perfect. Except, it wouldn't be.[break][break]
A curse swept the land, pulling you into a strange world of wonder; Wonderland. You do not remember anything from your past, even the one you treasured most. You are a researcher and look for any clues as to what had happened to anyone, and what everything in the area is; such as the singing flowers. How are such things possible? You're back to being lost in knowledge and books and learning. You're back to having one dream; research. It's a strange world you now live in, but you have adapted well to it.
