WELDER, Audrey [break] 21 Yrs Old & Female & Sidekicks [break] Played by SHANE |
[attr="class","LD1container"]
[attr="class","LD1textarea"] Audrey Ramirez, as well as her counterpart in Wonderland, Audrey Welder, is a tough girl and very tomboyish. She can be rough and aggressive at times, but also has a big heart and loves being around her friend. She would do anything for her best friends if they needed her, not matter what the risks. [break][break]
Audrey Ramirez was born the daughter of Master Mechanic Manuel Ramirez. From an early age, Audrey displayed a great knowledge of machines- how to build them and how to repair them. She could take apart and put together clocks around the house and handle any lock. She was more often than not in her father's workshop. By age five, she was a mechanic's assistant, and by age 9 she had gotten a Junior Mechanic job at Henry Ford Automotive. Henry Ford himself quickly learned that Audrey was no kid just playing around with toys. He had quickly grown to respect her as one of his finest workers.[break][break]
Audrey met Milo Thatch due to her wanting to know more about his grandfather, Thaddeus Thatch, who was a friend of her father's. At first she was annoyed by him because he was so reserved. Finally she got him to open up a bit by talking about his grandfather. She grew to enjoy his company more and more from there, though their relationship was purely platonic. If anything, Audrey really wasn't the type to wear pretty dresses and go on dates. She'd rather play a game of catch and, as she got older, hit the bars for a few drinks.[break][break]
As an adult, Audrey became chief mechanic aboard the Ulysses under the command of Lyle Rourke. Here she traveled with friend Milo Thatch on a voyage to discover the lost city of Atlantis, as well as the crystal known as the Heart of Atlantis. She soon discovered that the voyage and what they were doing was endangering the lives of the Atlanteans, including their king. This caused her to feel guilty as she was planning to use money that was made at the expense of those lives in order to open a repair shop. She also discovered how heartless and relentless her boss, Lyle Rourke was, as he cared little for what he had to do in order to get what he wanted. Audrey quickly joined Milo, the Atlantean Kida, and others to combat Rourke's wicked scheme. In the end, the team defeated Rourke and saved Atlantis. Audrey and the others were honored for their aid before Audrey parted ways with her friend Milo.[break][break]
When Audrey returned home, it took some doing and saving, but she finally was able to open her repair shop. She was happy that not only did her dream come true, but she achieved it honestly and not by sticking with Lyle Rourke and his greedy and wicked allies. Audrey briefly reunited with Milo to help inform the Atlantean King of happenings on the surface. Once she returned from that journey, she went back to her job at the shop.[break][break]
When the Curse hit, Audrey Ramirez the Mechanic of the early 1900's was no more. She was now Audrey Welder the Blacksmith. Like most others, she has certainly forgotten who she once was, as well as her amazing journeys to the Lost Empire of Atlantis. These days her journeys consist of going to work in her Smithy or to the local tavern to have drinks with her friends and get into the occasional fight, though most steer clear of her these days now that they know she can hold her own and even take out some twice her size.
