lilo & merida
first of all, those gifs are ADORABLE. second, i like that idea! and in a lot of ways, they're similar. lilo doesn't ever have a male romantic interest even though she's a child she could still have a crush shhhh and neither does merida in their respective movies. i can see them being really good friends and getting along really well as housemates! they'd be the types to stay up into the wee hours of the morning giggling and talking about goofy things. i can't wait to see where this plot goes!

while i can see them being acquaintences and "hey, can you do me a favor and i'll do this in return" kind of friends, i don't know how close they would get. i'm not saying they won't get along! on the contrary, i see what you're saying. merida's just very pick-and-choose with her friends. i can see them getting along and chattering away at social gatherings.

trini & merida
aww, she's such a cutie! merida would be enamored with trini, for sure. she seems a lot like merida's little brothers (she doesn't remember them but she still loves kiddos), and so she'd want to play with her and maybe teach her a few mischievous tricks.

kodama & merida
i can definitely see koda and merida "bickering" back and forth, but never about anything serious. i think, since they're housemates, she'd see him as a weird brother to pick on and hang out with. i'm pretty sure that if anything happened to one, the other would definitely have their back though c:

james & merida
can you say adventure buddies? from what i can gather, james seems like the type that likes to get out and get a little lost for the sake of exploration. merida's like that too! she loves to spend a lot of time outdoors these days, and breaking up the monotony of being by herself would be great. they might get into a little too much trouble, but it's no fun to play it safe, right?

they both seem to really have a spunky, somewhat in your face attitude. i like it! they would definitely be friends at some point c: these two seem like they could really get into some trouble as well...

yeahhhh, not seeing a whole lot of love happening here. merida's good sense would tell her to steer far clear of him after getting a taste of his personality, and she'd do whatever she could to stay away from him. sorry, snakey :c

anya & merida
i love anya's personality, and we can always test them out and see how they do, but i'm not sure if merida and anya will be super good friends. they're both headstrong and that clashes if they aren't exactly in sync. we can always put them together and see what happens, though!

lupin & merida
it would be a slow process, but i think that lupin and merida could be friends in the long run. as you said, both enjoy nature, and merida has nothing against wolves (just bears for some reason). she'd love to do anything she can to help wild animals! just out of curiousity, once they start getting memories back, is he going to return to being a werewolf?

aww, that would be fun! c: i can definitely see them being friends (but yes, probably annoyances at first as they get to know each other). merida probably just wouldn't know how to take his personality at first but get to where she found it fun.
