The Singing Flower Patch probably wasn't the best place for a Tea Party. The singing was lovely at first, but then it got annoying as it interrupted good conversation. However, since March didn't officially invite anyone to the tea party, he didn't see that as much of a problem. Besides often good singing was better than terrible conversation. Terrible conversation was just about all he heard at the Tea Room those days. People were always talking about nonsense like the weather and where they like to shop and how their friends and families were doing. Bah, people needed to be more original.
March sat at the little table he set up. In front of him were four different teas, each with four cups and four saucers. And yes, March was planning to drink all of those. But which one to drink first? A curious question indeed! March looked at them and pondered.
"Hmm, well there's watermelon tea, watercrest tea, waterlily tea, and waterless tea," he said. "Which to try first? Let's go with waterless tea." He then sipped it and thought a moment. "Unsurprisingly dry." He then listened to the flowers sing a merry tune and bobbed his head along as he tried the watermelon tea. "That's a lovely song. Reminds me of a song I used to hate." He grinned as he kept moving to it.
