Trini loved Saturdays. She loved every day, but Saturdays meant more play time. There was a ton of things to do in the Woods to. She found a new place to explore every day. For one like Trini, boredom never really existed. Even when she had to stay indoors, she found something to do.
After breakfast, Trini's mother helped get her dressed. Her loving mother gave her a warm smile and kissed her forehead. She told Trini to not go far, and to be careful not to walk on to Mr. Kingsley's property because of his big cats. Trini smiled and nodded.
"Don't worry, mom," she said. "I'll go to my usual places. Yesterday I saw a rabbit hole nearby. I'm going to see if any bunnies come out of it today."
Trini then scurried off. The first thing she wanted to do was climb a tree. At the top, she could see if anyone was walking about. She knew other people around her age liked to play in the woods. Many were her friends, and she liked to surprise them. Sitting on a big limb, she looked down, beaming as always.

Teagan walked though the village her slingshot in her pocket. She was ready for danger that was if any was going to come her way. Once she was done with her rounds she went to find Trini in the woods. It had been a while since she had saw the girl and she wanted to see her.
The girl skipped though the woods and stopped at what seemed to be a small critter. Chasing the small butterfly. "Come here little one, I won't hurt you. I just want to play." She followed the butterfly deeper in to the woods. Humming as she walked she got right under a tree. "Where did you go butterfly?"

Trini beamed even more when she looked down from the tree to see Teagan. She hadn't known Teagan for long, but had befriended her quickly. That wasn't hard for Trini to do, and besides, the girl was very sweet. She chuckled a little when she saw the girl was trying to catch the butterfly. She decided to playfully surprise Teagen from the top of the tree.
"You Silly Sally, you're not going to catch that butterfly!" she shouted. She then moved down from the tree enough that she could hop the rest of the way down. "Besides, butterflies are much nicer when they're not caught." Trini then smiled and hugged her friend. She was pretty sure by now that Teagan liked hugs and that she didn't have to ask before giving one. "Hey Teagan! What are you doing out in the Woods? I mean I love it that you're here, but I was still wondering."
Trini then took a pack of jellybeans out of her pocket and ate a few before looking at Teagan.
"You want some?" she asked. "It's different flavors. Some of them are weird ones, but they're all pretty good... well accept for the licorice. I never have liked licorice jellybeans."
