Born into the family of a knight and his wife was Kayley, a young girl with dreams of done day becoming a knight of the Round Table just like her father in the kingdom of Camelot. Sir Lionel and Lady Julianna, her parents, know that this may never be possible but let Kayley continue to dream, she was a young girl after all. But after a few years, at only the age of nine, her father is called away to a special meeting with King Arthur and Kayley wishes to go with him but she is too young and her father promises her one day, but this one day never comes. Her father is killed by Baron Ruber when he tried to take Excalibur and Kayley had to learn to live without him. But following her father’s bravery, she spent the next ten years tending to her family farm and as a young woman she is still a dream and has the desire to still be a night, which of course is against her mother’s wishes.

But soon the dream seems to fall into her lap when she learns of Excalibur having been stolen but of course her mother forbids her to go out until she is kidnapped by the evil Baron Ruber and his men, but Kayley herself escapes and flees into the Forbidden Forest with Ruber’s army hot on her trail and she is saved by Garrett, a handsome yet blind hermit who wants to be left alone. Of course when Kayley brings up Excalibur, Garrett and his silver winged falcon, Ayden, go after it and while traveling find out that a giant has the sword due to the scabbard of the sword being in the footprints of a giant. The two continue to travel until they make their way through the dragon infested mountains where they come across a conjoined-two-headed dragon, the sophisticated and intelligent Devon and the boorish but loyal Cornwall. And these two dragons join them on their journey due to the developing friendship they have towards Kayley. But as they continue to travel together, Kayley’s insistence gets Garrett hurt because he misses the key warning from Ayden, but luckily they escape and Kayley heals Garrett’s wounds with forest’s plants and they realize their feelings and mutual attraction for each other.

Finally they come across the giant who uses the sword as a toothpick and with the intelligence Kayley holds she is able to get the sword and escape from Ruber and his men again by getting them trapped in mountainside slide that crushes them beneath it. With Camelot in sight, Kayley wishes for Garrett to come with her but he refuses and returns to his isolation and so Kayley and the dragons continue the mission, but Kayley is captured by Ruber and his thugs where Ruber uses magic to put the sword into his flesh, claiming it as his own. Noticing her capture, Devon and Cornwall go back to get Garrett while Kayley is reunited with her mother in the wagon but is soon freed by the loyal chicken named Bladebeak and warns the Knights of Ruber and his men. Together with Garrett, Ayden, Devon and Cornwall they take out some of Ruber’s men. Leaving behind the dragon and the falcon, Garrett and Kayley make their way to save the king, and a fight between Ruber begins.

They lure Ruber outside to the stone and wait until the last possible moment, once Ruber strikes they move out of the way and the sword is back in the stone, they watch as the magical forces conflict and completely disintegrate Ruber, leaving the kingdom free again. The magic that spills on the Kingdom separates all of Ruber’s men, including Bladebeak, from their weapons and even separates Devon and Cornwall, but the pair decides to reunite before the magic dissipates. Soon after these events, Kayley and Garrett are knighted as members of the round table, and she and Garrett share a kiss. As the pair ride off into the sunset, their horse has a flag mounted to its back reading “Just Knighted”.

Of course after only a few months as Knights the pair is split up from the ones they love and ripped into a new land without memories. Kayley remembers nothing, not her mother or her father, or Garrett or even her adventures; all she knows is the life she was thrust into.
