Hatred never breeds the beautiful — hatred breads the crippling and the festering, the powerful and the dangerous. Hatred bred Captain James Hook. He hated them all. The boy with the green hat and the green outfit, the tick-tock of the Tick-Tock Croc, the lost boys. All of them. But there was a part of him that longed for the same sense of freedom and power that they once had; he longs for their ability to have all the treasure of Neverland and each other — for that was what he lacked. Hatred, greed and jealousy was the way he lived his life; it was the way things had always been for him.[break][break]
Always after that damn boy and his gang of misfits, Hook made it his personal mission in life to chase Peter Pan through Neverland, and he wouldn’t settle until he had finally rid him of the world. Thwarting Peter’s plans always seemed to go awry for dear old Hook, as he never could quite get it right. Despite his numerous attempts over the years to win himself the kingdom of Neverland, it seemed like Peter was always one step ahead of him.[break][break]
In fact, it was Peter’s own thwarting that led to the loss of Hook’s hand. Peter fed Hook’s left hand to the very crocodile that trailed after James where ever he went. Ah yes, the crocodile — once it got a taste for Hook, it just couldn’t stop. It followed him everywhere he went…giving off the same haunting tick-tock that haunted his dreams.[break][break]
Wendy was just another part of the problem. The Darling children — oh how Hook hated them as well. Those preposterous little monsters! The presence only made Peter act up more, making Hook even more insufferable. In fact, if it hadn’t been for Mr. Smee himself, Hook surely would have gone insane. [break][break]
Now, his memories are gone. Hook woke up with a sour taste in his mouth — not to be terribly unexpected from the rather sour man. This world finds him more dangerous than ever before, for now, not only is he the same pirate that he has always been, he’d developed a bigger sense of self. Hook has always been full of himself — well dressed with the airs and graces of a stately gentleman, despite the fact that he is nothing more than a commonplace pirate. He talks the talk and walks the walk, but when it comes right down to it, he would more often than not sell you out for an extra couple of gold pieces rather than save your skin and this world makes it even worse.[break][break]
The moment that he got his bearings in Wonderland, he gathered a group of men and began a little fishing expedition, working to trade with the village and the surrounding communities. But what he found was something so much bigger. When going to trade with the castle, he found himself enchanted by the Queen and her sister and that was not something he would soon forget. He took to them like a fly to honey, happy to do whatever they said they needed. [break][break]
Now, he works in a sort of information trading business. He provides the information from the village to the sisters in the castle and in turn, they provide him with amusement. It’s the perfect blend for the man who once was the baddest pirate in Neverland. He could easily flip his side of the coin, if someone were willing to offer him something better than the sisters are now, but, frankly, the alliance with the most powerful women in the realm is sitting pretty well with him right now.[break][break]
