Lucy had just gotten back from the village with a couple of things she had ordered to be made from a seamstress there. She was quite talented, and got the dresses perfect! Of course Lucy had to supply most of the material. She was rather fond of silk and chiffon and things that weren't common around the village. She paid the seamstress quite nicely, as nicely as she could at least. After all, she usually had to hide the fact that she was the ward of Evelyn. She didn't want the Queen to know about all of her socializing in the village.. not until she spoke to her about it, first. It was hard not having one's memories..she never knew what she could, and couldn't do. Being in trouble was something that always irked Lucy..that much, she knew. So, now that she was back in the palace, she was on a mission to get changed, and perhaps find Evelyn to talk to her. She hurried to her room with her purchases, and tried one of them on. It was an emerald green color that looked rather nice on her, and it fell to the ground. She always wore long, refined dresses inside of the palace, where outside, she wore them a little shorter. It was easier to get around that way. She didn't find Evelyn on her journey through the palace this time.. but she did come across Maleficent. She always wanted to be much more involved in Maleficent's life.. she was like an aunt to her..and she and the Queen were the only family she had. "Maleficent," she spoke with a smile. "Hello."

The sound of the palace doors alerted her, distracting her from the book she was reading. Well, kind of reading. Every so often her mind would wander to much more interesting things, like their next move or how everyone was squirming to figure out who they were. It brought a grin to her features every single time the thought crossed her mind. They had finally won. The villains. Sure, they lost a couple of their allies in the process, but otherwise they were solid. In fact, Maleficent could hardly care for the two that lost their memories. To hell with them. They could do without.
However, the grin that graced her lips quickly slipped away. Who had entered the palace, and without their consent? Mal rose from the comfort of her seat, unimpressed by the sight she found when she reached the balcony of the staircase. It was that little pest Evelyn allowed to be their ward. Why? She had not a clue. The precious 'queen' did not wish to share. But so be it. Just because she let the young woman stay, did not mean Mal had to be nice.
Her eyes watched carefully as the girl made her way to her room, carrying something that seemed to have come from elsewhere. Deciding to inspect, she followed the girl, keeping her distance. And she waited. She stood a short distance from the bedroom door, resting her shoulder on the wall with her arms crossed. When Lucy decided to make another appearance, she stood up straight, and looked upon her with eyes narrowed. "And just where have you been?" She asked the girl, completely ready for an interrogation if needed.

One would think that Lucy would want to shy away from the palace even more than she did with the way that Maleficent and Evelyn treated her.. but she assumed that it was for her own good. She still wished that she was better liked by them.. even though she sat in the lap of luxery, she still felt at times like an outsider. Especially when Maleficent spoke to her like she was doing right now. She asked where Lucy had been.. it was a fair enough question. Although Lucy had to keep it short. "I was in the village. I had a dress custom made for me by one of the peasants." At times, she had to speak low of the people of the village, which made her wince inwardly, but it's what she had to do to get acceptance, and maybe even respect from what little family she had in the palace.
"Of course I had to purchase the material myself.. obviously they'd have no fine silk in the village. It's why it took me so long. But i'm home now." She gave a small bow of her head, in hopes that she wouldn't be questioned further.
