like a queen Think of me more than anyone else
Going to the village was not something Maleficent cared to do. She'd much rather be in the palace, keeping her distance from those she hated the most. However, seeing as she was 'adviser' to the queen, and secretly co-ruling, it was best that the two of them made journeys to the village to keep an eye on the people. After all, they didn't need someone to find out the truth, or cause problems for their new land. If someone did, they would have to quickly disappear. It was bad enough Prince Charming had found his way to being leader. Mal was sure they respected him more than their rightful rulers. Her feet carried her through the village slowly. The hood to her cloak was pulled up in order to keep her mostly out of sight. After all, she didn't want anyone to recognize her. She didn't want to make a scene or have anyone realize she was watching them. If they knew, they would try everything to be on their best behavior. That was not what she wanted at all. Being who she was, she'd love to see someone get themselves in trouble. That way she could personally drag them to the prisons. Oh, how fun that would be. It was hard being the villain, and not being able to fully show it. As she continued to walk, her eyes took in her surroundings. Every face. Every movement. Every trade. They were all pathetic, and she knew who each and every one of them were. It was delightful really, to see them all scrambling for their memories. If only they knew who their rulers truly were. Mal let her thoughts run wild, a small smirk upon her lips at each one. That was, until she collided shoulders with a man, her hood falling off her head. Her eyes narrowed as she turned toward him. "Excuse you." She growled.
@talon so excited for them! hope this is alright! |

WE PUT IT ALL TOGETHER On the off-chance that Talon wasn't busy being a message delivery boy, he could be found snooping around the village, trying to glean every parcel of information he could from its citizens. There was never too small a bite of info--anything that he could use for his own benefit. There weren't many people that had caught onto his misdeeds and the ones who had made sure to steer clear of him. That still left many villagers, however.
Talon put on a fairly convincing front, flashing his pearly teeth at everyone who passed by or giving a casual wave. Had he not been out here for his personal interests, he thought he might be an ambassador. Unfortunately he could also have a bit of a temper. But, man, being ambassador would pay a lot better than messenger, wouldn't it?
As he strolled through the village, his eyes were so busy watching everyone and everything else that he had forgotten to place his stare in front of him for awhile, trusting people to instead walk around him. His plan had worked until... well, until some wench--er, lady--had walked right into him! Talon was hasty to whirl around, but his expression was not nearly as angry as hers. Instead he had on a giant smile, exposing nearly all of his teeth. "Oh, yes, excuse me," Talon replied absently as his eyes moved toward the hood haphazardly draped across the woman's shoulders now. As his gaze returned to hers, he added, "why was someone like you wearing a hood?" WE CAN DRIVE IT HOME WITH ONE HEADLIGHT
