Even before the curse you could not remember a time prior to the March Hare's home. You were just a young mouse when you stumbled upon them, the March Hare and the Mad Hatter. They took you in with open arms, as loony as they seemed to be, but you appreciated it and you seemed to enjoy their company. You were the level headed one of the bunch, as you all grew older. There was this cautious and calculating side to you that kept you from letting anyone in without being skeptical first. The only two in your life that you allowed to get close to you, were the March Hare and the Mad Hatter. They had always been there for you, and you knew they always would be. Of course, there were a few others that you considered friends, or acquaintances. These being the White Rabbit and Cheshire Cat. But they would never be as close to you as the other two.[break][break]
Everything went to hell when the Red Queen took the throne, making Wonderland under her control. No one truly respected her. They only feared her. Lucky for the few of you, you were able to lay low for a while, staying out of her clutches as long as possible. There was a prophecy that a girl named Alice would save the land from the wretched queen. You were skeptical though, as you were with a lot of things. First off, how could a mere human girl save Wonderland? And second, also most important, where was she? Alice had shown herself once as a child, but it had been years without seeing her again. [break][break]
And then of course, she showed up. She was unsure and too peaceful. It seemed as though there was not a fighting bone in her body. This girl was supposed to save Wonderland? You had a better chance of defeating the queen by yourself, and you were a dormouse. You questioned her and even told her she was not Alice quite a few times. But she would prove to be stronger than she seemed to be in the beginning. She helped you and the others get through tough obstacles, and when the Hatter was captured by the queen, she made sure she went back for him. They had become Alice's friends. Even you. You became protective over the girl, even though a slight jealousy formed in your gut. The Hatter was spending more time with Alice and not as much with you. You never understood why you would be jealous. Obviously it was because she was stealing your friend. Obviously.[break][break]
With the White Queen helping, the Red Queen's sister and many other allies, things started to get easier. However, it came down to one person in the end and that was Alice. The prophecy said that she would be the one to defeat the Jabberwocky. She had to be the champion, and in the end, she was. She had helped save Wonderland and you, as well as everyone else, were highly grateful to the young woman. Everything would be right with the land, and you knew you would be happy, despite the fact that Alice had to leave. That was, until something much worse than the Red Queen happened.[break][break]
A curse was brought upon the lands, and while you did not have to leave your home of Wonderland, you no longer remembered who you were or what you had accomplished. You were a young woman, no longer a mouse, and you lived in the woods where you ran a small blacksmith shop right outside your small home. You don't understand why you know the trade or how you learned it, but you did. Plus, you had no other memories, so it wasn't out of the ordinary to be questioning things. Like your old self, you enjoy your solitude and are skeptical of those around you. You're calm most of the time, but when pushed, your temper will come out and it is not pretty. Not to mention, it's quite short. But all in all, you're very loyal and protective of those you care about and would do just about anything for them.
