Fix-It-Felix Jr. That was the name of the game. Felix It Felix Jr. Well, golly, that was his name wasn’t it? Well, then that meant that he was the leader of the game, wasn’t it? He was one of, if not the, most important person in the game. If it wasn’t for him, then well, the game would be wheeled out of the arcade. So many people depended on him to move forward and to be thrown around every minute of every day so the game could be played. As good and as “selfless” was he was, Felix was naïve and shortsighted. He did not realize that he needed someone, that there was a silent partnership that he did not want to take into account. Wreck-It-Ralph was his name. He’s the bad guy, the antagonist, the villain, the reason there is conflict in their happy little world. He was the person that wrecked things, the reason that Felix was needed. Felix never made the connection that if it wasn’t for Ralph, he would be useless. If there was nothing broken, nothing could be fixed.[break][break]
It all started with that anniversary party. He honestly….well he thought that Ralph maybe did not want to come so why invite him? And it wasn’t really his job to send out invitations. No, he wasn’t a party planner by any means. But when Ralph showed up at his penthouse, he thought was going to die of embarrassment and then get shattered by second hand embarrassment for Ralph. Didn’t he know that no one really liked him? He was big and clumsy and foul and everything opposite of his happy, sunshine world. Wouldn’t he be happier away from people that so obviously did not want him there? Felix had nothing to gain by the bet that Ralph angrily made but he allowed him to do so. There was no way a medal could be won by the likes of him. So why worry? [break][break]
Everything changed when they went to play one morning and Ralph wasn’t there. Felix had to bring him back. He couldn’t risk losing the game, losing his friends. He didn’t want to let any of them down. No one knew how hard it was, being depended on each and every day of his life. He could not just lay back and let someone else play the hero. He couldn’t abandon his duty and neither could Ralph. [break][break]
When he met Calhoun, he fell heads over heels for her. She was so beautiful and strong. There was no one like her and he could not imagine going back to his game and her to hers without solidifying their bond. He loved her. [break][break]

Rhett felt at home with a hammer in one hand and a nail in the other. He worked with building materials like some artists work with clay or oils. And with a heart made of gold, he did repairs on homes for practically nothing. He felt like this was how he should be helping people. Each day was a flurry of screws and saws and words of gratitude. There was something missing. He did not feel at home in the odd smelling air. Some say it is “fresh” but it feels foreign and wrong to Rhett. He wasn’t sure why the sun hurt his eyes or how out of place he felt in the wide open spaces of Wonderland. But as the months went on, he was growing more and more used to it. But what he was not getting used to was this empty place in him. Rhett, with the happy go lucky smile, was alone.[break][break]
