Personality: As Basil of Baker street he was a brilliant mouse, never backing down in his pursuits against Rattigain thus he was tenacious. However he was prone to being moody, self centered, prickly, ignoring others unless it involved Rattigain. However he was a jack of all trades and despite previous ways of treating others he is revealed to be an affectionate soul, often he is calm an collected though this changes if things don't go his way or the situation is dire which he can be a bit dramatic and operatic which goes with his moody side. He's brave and physically capable, there's a good hear there you just have to get past some bits to see it.[break][break]Now as Basil Baker he's pretty much the same though honestly toned down a good deal. He's still intelligent, tenacious, brave, a bit on the moody side though that is honestly one of hte things toned down, and calm an collected. True the mystery of why no one can remember their past up to some months ago has him very intrigued.[break][break]HIstory: Basil was just another mouse in the world of London, England. He didn't have much growing up though his intelligence showed from a small age. His parents and he lived under the great Sherlock Holmes house and while his parents weren't sure if was the proper home for a child, Basil showed absolute love for it! As a only child, he really only interacted with other mousey youngsters when he was at school which he did though never made any real friends. Time went on, his knowledge grew as well as his trades and soon he was a young adult mouse. The thought of leaving the glorious home of his was a sad thought, however he was shocked when his parents said that they were going to move to America but leave him their home since he loved it so much. A tad saddened by the fact his parents were moving he understood and thanked them, wishing them luck on their voyage. Life as a detective quickly took root after that and it wasn't long before his home was in disorder. That was when she showed up, Mrs Judson. Oh the woman was a pain! She was a friend of his mother's who had been sent to check up on him. She nearly had a heart attack seeing the state of the place. Quickly she took to tidying it up despite his protests to her and it seemed she was there to stay as the woman never left in which he just left her be. More years passed as well as many cases a good majority of them dealt with a Rat named Rattigain. They always fought alas Basil was never able to catch him. Though in the process he became a rather famous mouse and sought after in the same way that Sherlock Holmes was.[break][break]One day he was investigating a lead in disguise in which he believed to have found the right gun to tying Rattigain to a case, he rushed home still in disguise though he pretty much ignored the two mouses in his home till one questioned who he was. Removing the mask he told them who he was, in which a little girl tried to get his attention. Though he pretty much ignored her as he set to his experiment though it ended with failure in which he was unpleased. THe girl then started to speak though he told her it wasn't the best time. His interest was soon peaked though as she mentioned a bat with a crippled wing, he proceeded to tell them that bat was employed by Rattigain and even told them about his arch foe. Once done they headed up to Sherlock's home when the great detective was leaving and thus they seeked the aid of Toby; a dog. They were lead to the Toy store where Fidget was stealing items for Rattigain, they started to search though Oliva was kidnapped by him and Dawson was upset by it though Basil did comfort the doctor saying that they would find her. Dawson found the list and thus they went back to the starting part, from the letter Basil was able to deduce where Rattigain was and thus they went to the bar in disguise. Once there Basil questioned about Rattigain though he noticed that their drinks were drugged, he failed to inform Dawson in time for they already drank some of it. Dawson causes a bar fight on accident and Basil spies Fidget going through a trap door, they followed though it was a trap set by Rattigain which angered Basil though he was soon sent into a state of shock kind of due to the fact that Rattigain had outwited him and they were now strapped do a death trap. Dawson though was able to get him to snap out of it and thus Basil was able to use the trap to free them an Oliva. Rattigain had revealed his plot to him due to thinking they would die, so upon reaching Mousedom Basil took control of the fake Queen and exposed Rattigain as a rat. They chased after him and Rattigain once more got hold of Oliva. The chase went all the way to Big Ben, where Basil got Oliva back. This though sent Rattigain into a dangerous rage and he pursued, as Basil handed Oliva over to Dawson and her father Rattigain tackled him and Basil was able to stand his own for a little while. The clock struck midnight and the vibration resulted in the two falling off, though Basil was able to get back through the use of a part from Rattigain's ballon. Somehow Rattigain survived the fall and was put in jail. Oliva left with her father and Dawson came to be his partner. Rattigain escaped and thus the two kept clashing, a great rivalry between em like Sherlock Holmes and Professor James Moriarity. However the curse got in the way of that.[break]break]The cursed rendered Basil as he was sort of, a detective but a struggling one unlike his famous mouse self. Barely making his ends meet and poor, Basil Baker was stuck living with his Aunt Judson Baker; who wasn't in a much better state either. In fact things were going so bad as to where Basil also pulls a seperate job elsewhere, really to just try to help his Aunt stay afloat considering his habits result in some damages. THough he still has his jack of all trades so often he ends up repairing what goes wrong. His brother on the other hand, David Quil Baker though Basil often calls him Dawson as it feels more correct, was doing well for himself though Basil felt it best not to ask them for any aid.
