Life was sweet for a prince. Yeah sure, he wasn’t next in line for the throne, but he had all he could have ever wanted, riches. Prince John had always had an arbor for the sweet silver, even when he was lad. And as a lad, he was proud, so proud that he found himself higher than any of the other court children. In his eyes, there was not a more attractive, athletic, or knowledgeable child. This attitude earned his solitude, no one wants to play with a snob. Thus, he became a momma’s boy. The only other person Johnny loved more than himself at his young age, would have been his mother. He always tried to impress her, he did anything within his power to please the queen, alas she found him prideful and rude. Johnathan’s brother, Richard was always the apple to their mother’s eye. Richard was athletic, kind and honest, all the wonderful traits that John lacked. Over the years the younger prince built up resentment to his brother, yet always found his mother to be his weakness.

There was only one child who could stand the proud prince, and that was the young lad Hissington. The duo met at a gala, Johnny finding the only person who actually seemed genially attentive to what he was saying, demanded that Hiss and his family move to court immediately. As his demands were usually met, the family had to do just that. Now instead of having to boss servants and nurses to stay with him, Johnny boy had a friend. Hiss was loyal to a fault, clever yet somehow he found a way to love his prince. John came to see Hiss as his true brother, although he didn’t view them as equals, and the two were attached at the hip from the ages of seven. Together, they would gossip, satirize, ride, practice sword play, and everything that brothers were supposed to do. Through Johnathan’s whole life, the only person who was by his side no matter what, was Hissington.

As the years wore on, John’s lust for gold intensified. He became unsatisfied with the mere wages of a prince, as his brother had taken the step up to king after their father’s death, John secretly decreed that he would become king. Therefore having all the riches of the kingdom! Hiss found a way to lure the unlucky king to the Crusades which began John’s reign. He ruled greedy and uncaring. Increasing the taxes to a cut throat rate, as people became poor and hungry, John was bathing in all the riches he could ever want.

The people started to protest and one valiant individual had the audacity to steal from the rich and give to the poor. Johnathan found himself cursing the name Robin Hood. John hates nothing more than a thief, and to his eyes, Robin was the king of thieves. After many attempts to catch the scoundrel, Hiss came up with an idea that was sure to prevail. They would hold an archery contest, for everyone in the kingdom knew that Hood was the best archer around. Just as Hiss predicted Robin did in fact compete, disguised as a stork, his wonderful archery skills revealed his identity to John. The Prince then arrested Hood and sentenced him to death. After some eh, controversy Robin escapes and John then raises the taxes so high that most of the citizens are thrown in jail because they cannot pay. In one last attempt to catch the scoundrel, the Prince sentences Friar Tuck, a friend of Robin’s, to be hanged. This time, not only Robin escapes but he helps all of the prisoners too!

Alas, everything must come to an end and John’s reign did. Once his brother came back home, he threw Hiss and John in the dungeons and lightened all the taxes. John was is the gallows for merely a week before the curse hit.

Without his memory, John’s resentment toward the world has slightly dissipated. His main concern is money, and at the moment he is doing everything he can to get as much of it. Johnathan is ‘polite’ to strangers only if they seem even remotely on his level yet, he is sarcastic and usually ends up ruffling feathers. Incredibly ambitious he will do whatever it takes to reach whatever goal he has envisioned for himself.
