Life before the curse was like a dream. Minnie Mouse had everything she wanted; friends, adventure, and the sweetest mouse by her side. She gained fame through out the realms thanks to Mickey and his sense of adventure, but the history between Minnie and Mickey went back before all of that. Minnie met Mickey while she was employed at Cantina Argentina, her job as a bar maid and a dancer kept her busy those days, but she sensed something was missing in her life. It was during her time there that Mickey ended up saving her from the notorious bandit Black Pete after he abducted her. She was extremely grateful to him and the rest was history. Minnie was present during Mickey's job on a now famous Steamboat, not once leaving his side. She watched Mickey rise from virtually nothing to the great legend he was.

Minnie often found herself brought along his adventures, but never once would she complain. After all, she loved that about him, and there was rarely a moment when Minnie wasn't near Mickey. Thanks to Mickey, Minnie's dreams became a reality. She would catch herself staring at him any given time of the day, his demeanor always bringing a smile to her. There was something about Mickey that made others feel safe and loved, they strove to be like him. Sometimes, however, his imagination would get out of hand and his dreams were just too big for others to handle. Whenever Mickey needed someone else to lean out, Minnie made sure to be his rock. In fact, out of her group of friends, she was the one to keep everyone in check, especially when Mickey and Donald caused mischief and chaos. Although she gave off the air of being almost too perfect, Minnie had flaws like everyone else. She would easily become frustrated with Daisy's diva antics and Mickey's forgetfulness. When the stress of it all would get to her, she became impulsive and obsessive. Luckily, her loyalty and love for her friends would bring her down from that frustration.

For all purposes, Minnie was Mickey's leading lady. So naturally, she too went to live in the Magic Kingdom. It was the best time of her life. She met people from all over the realms and she was given anything she desired. It was all very nice, but as long as she had Mickey and the rest of her friends with her, Minnie could as for nothing more. In her years, she had experience more magic and happiness than most people would in their lifetime. Her relationship with Mickey wasn't something they explicitly stated, they rarely used terms such as "boyfriend" or "girlfriend", but she loved Mickey with all her heart and knew she would spend the rest of her life with him.

Then the curse hit. Minerva Walters was not alone when she first awoke in Wonderland, he was there since the beginning. Without hesitating, Minnie went along with William Desnee. They knew nothing of each other, yet the connection was there since the first time she took his hand. He's been her rock through out this ordeal, never once failing to keep her safe and warm. In due time, they opened the Magic Kingdom Putt-Putt (she just calls it the Magic Kingdom), a place where the residents of Wonderland can kick back their shoes and relive their youth even if they can't remember it. She's grown fond of the children of Wonderland and they of her. Their sweet, grinning faces make everything she might have been through worth while.
[break][break]
Minerva did not change much, she's still a hopeless romantic to the point that she has the first bow William presented to her as a gift. She's dependable, loyal and loving. There's a certain urge she feels, as if her legs want to take her further than they actually can. Like William, she wants to explore beyond her new home. She doesn't believe they're meant to be tied to this place, as huge as it might be. There are adventures waiting for her out there, she just knows it. But Wonderland is where William is and her growing fondness of him is greater than any sense of adventure she might have.
