What can you say about the Greek God who has it all, all that he does not want. Hades is the younger brother of Zeus and Poseidon. Zeus became king of Mount Olympus and gave Poseidon the sea to rule over, and Hades the Underworld. Hades felt he got the short end of the stick, having to live in the gloomy Underworld and he hated his job having to rule over the dull and depressing dead. He wanted to be King, wanted to take revenge on the older brother who forced him to run the Underworld. He had power, though he was weaker than Zeus, so he would use weaker beasts around Greece in order to do his bidding, at one time even using the titans.
Hades is actually not very strong physically but he is very good with manipulating and meticulous planning, and with those skills can sometimes be a force to reckon with. He also has that intimidating aura that can keep people or creatures in line. Unfortunately, Hades is also known for his hot temper which he is aware of and he truthfully does trie to remain calm and in control but even he can not control his anger. Even the smallest of inconveniences can send him into fits and rage, and even now as a human he might punch a hole in the wall or kick something out of anger.
During his days as Ruler of the Underworld he often consulted the 3 fate sisters for answers, which had actually been what lead him to trying to kill Hercules, the fates saying that Hercules would be the one who would keep Hades from achieving his goal of revenge on Zeus, and taking over as king of the gods.
When Hercules was born he focused his sights on the newborn, attempting to kill him by sending his demon lackeys to turn the boy human so he could kill him. However, due to the incompetence of his minions Hercules did not drink all the potion and still had his strength so he defeated the minions, though he was stuck in Greece and no longer able to go to Mount Olympus.
Hades was approached by Megara, who was distraught about the man she loved who had fallen ill. He agreed to help her in exchange for her soul. However, he saw something in Meg that made him want to keep her, so he saw to it that her love interest found someone else to be interested in. He continued to use her as she turned out to be adept at the arts of manipulation and seduction.
After Hercules was found again, he sent Megara to seduce him, having one of his goons pretend to harass her. Unfortunately, Meg fell in love with Hercules. Hades being the smart guy he is figured out that Megara had fallen in love with Hercules, and for her punisment he used her as bait in order to trick Hercules. Megara sacrificed herself for Hercules, foiling Hades plan. Hercules even saved her from the Underworld, despite Hades tricking him into a deal that would work. He's pretty burnt up about that, or was until the events that brought him to Wonderland.
In the Wonderland that everyone was thrown to, Hades is known as Damian Argus Greene, or Dag for short. He still has a really short temper and even the smallest inconveniences sets him off. He sets his sights on any places of power that he can, wanting to be leader of everyone, through schemeing and manipualtion of course. Unfortunately, he does not have his power so it does not always work out in the way he would like. He has an attraction to Meg, though even he is unclear why exactly. Whether it is because of his interest in her from when he was Hades and not Dag, or whether he truly has feelings for her is unclear.
