San Fransokyo was the kind of place where worlds seemed to always collide, it was a perfect mix of old and new. And just like the city she was born in, Miel Miyazaki was composed of different worlds. She was born to a couple from completely different backgrounds, a young Hispanic woman and her Japanese spouse. Miel grew up thinking that being bilingual was normal for everyone else, but it wasn't until she started school that she realized her life was different from her classmates. Her heritage never bothered her, though, she embraced every aspect of her own being, that included her father's background in chemistry. When she was younger, she would sit in his study while he prepared his lessons for the class he taught at the local high school. It was then that her interest for the subject peaked, she wanted to grow up to be like her father, she wanted to teach. She excelled in school, skipping a grade or two by the time she was a senior in high school. Soon enough, she realized that teaching was not necessarily for her, she mostly wanted to experiment with the elements not follow what others had done before her. Fransokyo Institute of Technology opened their doors for her as soon as she graduated.

Honey Lemon, as she was soon nicknamed, had a bright, sunny personality that warmed up everyone around her. She, in turn, felt at home with the other students. She didn't realize what a big impact they would have on her. Although they all majored in something completely different (like building freaking robots!), Honey Lemon was inspired by them. They pushed her to one-up herself every time she saw them reach milestones in their respective fields. She was having the time of her life, holed up in the lab all day was all she could ask for. It didn't matter that the rest of the world gave her odd looks whenever she talked rapidly over chemistry, her quick hand movements and non-stop chatter surely scared those around her.

Her world began to shift when a fire erupted at her school, claiming the life of one of her friends and her professor. What followed was more than anyone could handle. She found herself fighting a masked villain along side her friends, not knowing that the man who'd been teaching them was actually behind it all. Honey Lemon's wardrobe was given an upgrade by Hiro, he'd converted her purse into a mini-lab, where she'd store her chem-balls. It was this exact object that ended up saving her when she was trapped. Never in her life would she have imagined being part of something so spectacular and it was definitely worth it. Despite finding out the truth about her professor, Honey Lemon kept an optimistic view on life even after it was all over. She tried to understand why he did what he did and couldn't blame him for his anger and sorrow. He just went about it the wrong way, taking a dark path he couldn't turn back from in the end. After it was said and done, she returned to her studies. That didn't stop her from joining her friends in protecting the city when it was in need.

Life in Wonderland... well, it's been uneventful. One day she was just here, without an explanation or clue of where she came from. She remembers the basicsl her name, her parents' name, and her age. Aside from that, Miel can't remember much of anything and seems to wander around aimlessly, always searching for someone she can't even remember. l.
