Anya felt like she had been in this situation before.
She felt like she had been pulled into the ground, the ground trying to swallow her whole. However, she was pretty sure that the last time had something to do with ice...
Anyway, she was quite casually on her way back to the village, taking a short cut through the woods that she had never used before. This proved to me an incredibly bad idea, for there was a put of quicksand that she didn't see coming! She sunk incredibly fast, and now the quicksand was all the way up to her waist. She knew to stop struggling, for some reason, but she still couldn't help but panic. Her throat felt like it was closing up.
"Just take a deep breath. Just calm down. You'll get out of this," she told herself. She breathed deeply once, twice, before starting to call out. "HELP! SOMEBODY!?" she didn't struggle, but panic was completely apparent in her voice as she yelled. Someone, anyone must be crossing through the woods!
...right?

 tag; @anya | The wind made the woods very eery to him, Flik was uncomfortable in this place but one wouldn't see that on the outside. He was simply passing by to go to his quante home in the fields when he heard someone yelling. It wasn't a pleasant scream of fun but one of panic. Someone needed help and Flik was quite possibly the only one to have heard this woman. Urgently, he scanned the area as he picked up his pace towards the direction of the voice. Not even thinking of what situation he could be walking into, he came around a tree to see someone waist high in quicksand.
"Oh-" Flik let out, putting his foot up to take another step but stopped. Where did the quicksand stop and begin? He eyed the soil in front of him before finally looking up. There. A tree branch would work. Flik was not particularly strong in physicality but his brain was a clever thing. The tree branch could hold most of the weight and with a rope all Flik would have to do is pull. He needed to act fast or this woman would go under and suffocate.
"I'll get you out!"

Anya let out a breath of relief as someone came to her rescue. A man with unbelievable blue eyes. She held out a hand, warning him to stop, before he stopped himself from stepping further. "Thanks for-erh-responding to my screaming," Anya said awkwardly, trying to keep her nerves down. The worst thing she could do right now was panic. She followed his gaze with hers as he looked up.
"Do you have an idea?" she said as he promised to get her out. It seemed he was going to use the tree branch above her for something. All she could really do was stand there and try not to move, but she could still feel herself sinking, albeit slowly. She felt herself starting to panic, and her breathing was getting more shallow and staccato in nature. She just needed to stay calm!
"Hurry!" she burst out, reaching toward him.
