Argall, Isabelle [break] 21 Yrs Old & Female & Heroes [break] Played by Shane |
[attr="class","LD1container"]
[attr="class","LD1textarea"] Isabelle was born to the Lady Colette, a kind, beautiful and wealthy noblewoman. Her father had unfortunately perished in battled with an invading army while Colette was pregnant with her daughter. While Isabelle, nicknamed "Belle", wanted for nothing, she was not spoiled to the point that she was a brat. She was taught by her mother to never look down on anyone, no matter what walk of life they came from, and what type of person they might be. She was taught to show kindness and mercy to those who may not seem to deserve it, but need it nonetheless. Belle grew up to be a bright and beautiful girl, and had a fondness for the large library in the manor house that she and her mother called their home. In her free time when she wasn't being tutored or engaging in regular noble activities, she could be found reading in there. By age eight, she was an extremely well-read young lady.[break][break]
At the age of ten, her mother and she were traveling on a forest road when they heard loud and swift hoof beats outside the carriage. The next thing Belle knew her mother was opening the carriage door and screaming for her daughter to run. Belle did so, dashing into the forest. When she returned to the carriage, she found it destroyed and Lady Colette and her escort slaughtered. A short while later, a weeping and wandering Belle was found by an eccentric, but kindly inventor and widower named Maurice. After hearing her story, he took her in, treating her like his own daughter. Belle spent the next several years of her life helping her foster father, who she called "papa", with the housework as he worked on his odd inventions. She loved the old man and never complained whatsoever when helping him. However, Belle was a free spirit due to her love of books and desired to go on great adventures in far away places. [break][break]
When Maurice went to sell his latest invention, he did not return. Worried, Belle set out to find him. However, she only found his horse, Felipe, who led her to a strange and frightening looking castle. Inside, she found enchanted objects that could speak and interact with her as if they were human. She also found that her father had been imprisoned by a hideous Beast. She offered to take her father's place, knowing Maurice would not survive the cold and damp dungeon foe very long. The Beast accepted and Maurice was released. At first, Belle and the Beast did not get along very well. However, she remembered her mother's teachings and saw that the Beast was suffering some great hardship. When she showed him kindness and mercy, he found he could return it. Soon they became friends, and the Beast even gave her his castle library as a gift. Over time, he agreed to let her see her father be a magical mirror. When she saw Maurice was ill, the Beast allowed her to go to him. Belle promised she would return though, not realizing that she was falling in love with the Beast and vice versa. [break][break]
When Belle returned to the village, she found that people were mocking Maurice for telling the story of a strange and vicious Beast who lived in the castle. However, when Belle confirmed there was a Beast, they grew afraid and banded to storm the castle. Belle tried to tell them, he was kind, but they would not listen. Belle rushed to the castle to save him, but by the time she got there, the villagers had left and the Beast laid on the verge of death from their assault. When Belle wept over him and told him she loved him, something amazing happened. It turned out the Beast and the objects in his castle were placed under a curse. As one time, the Beast was a handsome prince named Adam, who had a hateful heart. He had denied shelter to a sorceress who was disguised as an ugly old woman, and because of that he was his servantss were transformed until the day the Prince could love and be loved unconditionally in return. Belle's love broke the curse, changing the Beast back into Prince Adam, the objects into his servants, and the frightening castle into a beautiful palace. Adam and Belle were married, and it seemed that they would have a happily ever after... [break][break]
Then, the Curse happened. Suddenly Belle had forgotten everything. She found herself owning a little bookshop in the Village in Wonderland. She's still incredibly kind and friendly as ever, and of course intrigued by a good book. She still longs for adventure, having forgotten about her beloved Adam and the amazing life she was to have with him.
