[break] Not much is known about Dory's past before she met her best friend Merlin, however, it is known that Dory from a young age has short term memory loss. This causes the lovable blue fish to become lost in the big blue, that is where we start our story. Dory as you know is a fish that is not quite the same as the fish swimming around her, this causes her to stop when Merlin is asking for help. Dory remembers she saw a boat tells the little clown fish this and the two swim off to catch up to the butt. However, we first see Dory's short term memory loss here, she is swimming really fast, then suddenly she goes to a casual swim. This causes Merlin to ask her if she is joking, she then tells him about her Memory. [break]
[break]The two go and start to cross the sea, the first bump in the road comes when they are found by sharks. Dory liked Bruce, he was nice and kind and well he was all she hoped for in a shark. Then again, she didn't know many sharks. Bruce took the two to a meeting where they all talked about how the fish were friends and not food. However, things got a bit wild when they found the goggles, Marlin and Dory fought with them and it ended up smacking dory in the face, this caused Bruce to smell the blood from her nose bleed and they flee the scene. The pair then dropped the diving goggles. Marlin is sad. Dory, then cheers him up a bit and sings the swimming song. The two go down to the dark trenches and they find the mask after being chased by a light bulb fish. Dory reads it and they swim away. She is so excited that she remembered something that for the next event she is made sad when Marlin tells her she can't go with him, a school of fish cheered her up and told them how to go through the next event. [break]
[break]When They got to the trenches, she remembered somewhat of what the school told her, go though not over, but Marlin tricked her to going above that was when she met Squishy, oh how Dory loved squishy until squishy hurt her. Marlin then pushed the jelly away and they took on the Jelly's and bounced on their heads like a game. Dory however, was hurt during the game, she was rescued by Marlin, and then the two were rescued by Sea Turtles. Dory played with the offspring and things were going really well.[break]
[break]From there they find themselves in the middle of nowhere. Dory finding a whale speaks to it and they get a ride to Sindy they are then in a boat yard where Dory is excited that she found Sidney. The two are then almost ate by a pelican, but Marlin saves them. The two are then saved from a flock of Seagulls. They are taken to Nemo, who they believe is dead. They are taken back to the sea. [break]
[break]Marlin wants to leave Dory and the fish tells him that she would be lost without him but he still leaves her. Sad Dory swims around and forgets the whole adventure she is then met by Nemo, she doesn't know who he is but she helps him, it is when he says his name that everything comes back to her and she takes Nemo to Marlin. The family is united and everything is happy.[break]
[break]Dory even started attending Fish Are Friends meeting becoming a member. However, things are lost to Dory once again when the curse is hit. [break]
[break]Now, Dory works at the school as a secatary. She even has a little baby husky puppy named Squishie.[break]

[break]Dory has the same personlaity no matter what happens. She is forgetfull because of her memory loss. She is also very Clumsy, always droping things or running in to doors or walls. She is also fun and Childish, this is probably why most people love her. She is also sweet and friendly, she is very opotimistic, always seeing the glass half full, this is seen in the whale scene when they discuss the water level lowering. She is very loyal to her friends and always wants to be a helpful person. Over all she is good natured and loves to have a fun time.[break]
