tag; open | Flik's little home beside the field was nothing to look twice at. It was designed to take up as little space as possible but still be able to accommodate his everyday needs. For something so small it was very comfortable. Flik finished his cup of tea and another chapter of a book he had recently acquired from the library when he noticed the color if the sky.
It was darkening by the minute and looked as if it was going to storm. Flik had yet to pick berries for the village yet and the storm seemed to be growing fast. Quickly, he came to his feet and grabbed a basket for the berries. Outside of his small home, the wind was still and the air was heavy with moisture.
"I better hurry." He mummbled, making his way through the tall grass and clear across a field to the bushes of berries. The bushes had an a ray of berries, including berries he had never seen before. Flik had found Wonderland was quite an interesting place.

on my father's wings. The air was growing stale and damp; the skies were becoming dark with a threat of a storm. Earlier in the day she had thought she would be free to go for a ride on one of the horses, not thinking that a storm would come this soon or at all really. That morning she had rose early, like she always did, to go tend to the horses and then get them ready to ride. Of course today was one of her off days, so instead of getting them all ready she pulled her horse from the rest, got the saddle on her and had rode into the fields. The wind blowing through her hair had brought a smile to her face, it was like a dream. A dream that she had forgotten. Of course her father didn’t really like her and horses coming together but she didn’t care, she loved the feeling of being alive and free when on a horse.
Her horses took off through the tall grass and the clearing was going by in a fast pace. The green of the grass was just a blob of color and streaks as she raced past them, but during the fast pace her horse was going at she didn’t even realize that the horses was heading right for a person. Until the horses whined and reared, of course this had happened to her once or twice but this time she almost fell off the blasted thing. She grasped onto its mane for dear life before the horse fully came to a full stop. Her eyes widened seeing the person and she quickly slipped from the back.
“Oh my gosh, I am so sorry…I didn’t see you there.” she rushed to say, embarrassment clear on her face.

tag; @kayley | Flik was minding his own business before the bushes and simply doing his job. He made sure to examine every berry before placing it into the basket. A line of them across the top seemed to be under grown and with a little bit of sunshine they were sure to be ready for the picking. He stayed close to the front line of bushes so that if the rain began to fall he would be able to make a mad dash back to his little home. Flik stayed mindful of the weather, looking up at the clouds as often as possible.
He personally wasn't a fan of storms, let alone rain.
By the time the basket was half way full of an assortment of berries that Flik heard a sound coming closer. They were loud and sounded as if it was approaching fast. He quickly began to grab a few more berries before latching the basket's top to prevent any falling out. His mind was focused on gather the berries and the storm. Flik didn't even bother to look around for the noise that was fast approaching- he had simply assumed it was thunder warning him of a storm.
A loud shriek coming from the right caught Flik's attention in time for him to see the animal on its back legs. Flik let out a yell and quickly threw himself from the pathway. The basket flew from his hand, hitting the ground and rolling underneath the bushes. After the feeling of complete terror left his mind, Flik rolled over onto his butt, looking up to see a woman beside the large animal.
What even was this creature? Flik looked up at her with wide eyes before scrambling to get on to his feet. "Oh," He chuckled nervously, "It's okay. I'm fine. Really." Flik stuttered his words as he began knocking grass from his clothes.

on my father's wings. Kayley had never believed that riding a horse could be so dangerous. It was supposed to be a freeing experience and yet it ended with a man on the ground, terrified out of his mind. She had gone to see if he was okay, and by the looks of it he was…physically but not mentally. It seemed she had frightened the older man to death. Well not literally. And for that she felt bad. Taking her bottom lip between her teeth she watched as the man scrambled to his feet before her. She wanted for him to speak, nervous that he would call the WPA on her beautiful horse and have her horseback riding license taken away. But by the way of it, no harm was done. He was perfectly fine, he was alive. Alive but frightened.
‘Oh. It’s okay. I’m fine. Really.’
Kayley let out a relief sigh nodding her head; her teeth let the flesh of her bottom lip go before she spoke. “I really am sorry. And your basket, it flew. You must of put a lot of hard work into collecting whatever was in that basket, and I ruined it. How can I make it up?” she questioned.

tag; @kayley | Any object oming at him with such speed as it did would frighten him on any day but this, this, creature was even more firghtening to Flik. It was large and very strong. Flik was quiet the opposite. By the time he had gotten to his feet the young woman had restrained and calmed the creature down like an expert. Flik cleared his throat once again as if that was going to give him confidence. She apologised to him but Flik's eyes immediately went to the horse beside her. By the time he snapped out of it and looked over at her, she had almost finished talking. How can I make it up?
"Oh- Oh no, it's fine. Really!" He put his hands out in front of him, reassuring her that everything was fine. "No harm was-" His eyes glanced to the horse again and back at her, "done."
Flik chuckled nervously, his eyes kept moving toward the horse before he finally asked. "What, uh, creature is that?"

on my father's wings. How can I make it up? Had she really just asked that. Why if this persons way of making it up was doing something that she didn’t want to do, something that was morally wrong? She shook her head from the thought. He didn’t look like that type of person to the young woman. But by his look he was still scared of the…horse? She frowned at that. What was so scary about a horse that kept you still terrified?
‘Oh- Oh no, it's fine. Really! No harm was- done. What, uh, creature is that?’
She frowned glancing up at her horse before looking at the male before him. “You don’t know what this is?” she questioned as if she heard the question wrong. Who didn’t know what a horse was? She took the reins and slowly stepped forward. “You mean to tell me that you don’t know what a horse is?” she questioned with a raised eyebrow.
